A sin saved is a sin earned

"Selena couldn't believe what she just saw and also knew that her sister was behind this. Though sometimes Rebekah tried to kill herself, Isobel would never let her do it.

She ran to her sister and saw her bursting into fake tears. Selena shouted loudly, 'Do you have any idea of what you've done? She needed help! Not DEATH!'

'But she had to be assassinated for the welfare of this family and besides I didn't do anything, I just simply let her go. She was going to hang herself and I didn't stop her…...' suddenly Isobel realizes what she had done.

Her eyes got filled with tears and dropped down her cheeks, she rubbed it with her palm so that Selena won't see it. This time, they were real.

I was sitting there listening to my mother and my aunt arguing, they barely noticed my presence.

'You were living in denial all this time Isobel! Rebekah was the witch whom you killed!'

'She couldn't handle such a huge amount of power, so the power was controlling her, she was not mentally sick, she just needed the help of yours. When I learned this, I came as quickly as I could.' Aunt Selena was filled with rage and was sad at the same time too.

Isobel was shocked and she was left speechless. The room was filled with silence for minutes.

Then my mother asked in a trembling voice, "Wa…was Rose the extra child?"

Both Selena and Isobel looked at me as if I was a criminal and naive at the same time. Then they both went away from there leaving me alone in the room as I grieved for my sister.

"Oh my God, Mom. It all must be so horrible. I'm really sorry," Finally, Sam showed some remorse.

"It was all a long time ago; it doesn't really matter now. Hear the next part, and you will feel remorse for yourself," Rose was still in a serious mood.

"Rebekah had so much power as a witch, so as a result of killing her, my mother had to pay a very expensive price.

We were all at Rebekah's funeral when we all felt a presence around us, it was Rebekah's soul who had come to take her debt!

She cursed the bloodline of the Soliño-Silverton, that one of the children whom she chooses will die by hanging just like her.

Isobel was so determined to save her heirs, that she sacrificed herself to minimize the effect of the curse.

So, Rebekah said, 'The only way to save them is that you will have to sacrifice the doppelganger of that child or you can simply end the curse for once and for all by sacrificing that child.'

After saying this, she took my mom with her and vanished. It was too hard for me to lose both my sister and my mother at the same time.

I stayed with aunt Selena and her daughter Pomphrey till I was 18 and was capable to take care of myself."

"Pomphrey? She is our new English teacher!" exclaimed Salvadora.

"Really?" her mother asked surprised.

"Yeah," said Sam.

"Then the first thing that I'm gonna do in the morning is meet her, we've to catch up a lot," her mom said tiredly.

"Not before you answer some of our questions," Sam said curiously.

"Fine, but it's 12 midnight, you guys should probably sleep now. Today, some old wounds opened, so let your mom rest," advised their dad.

"Yup! I'm tired too and besides, it was enough for today. I've to still digest it all, it was a bit too much," Sal was tired too.

"Sam never gets enough, he's like a black hole who can digest everything in a second!" joked Salvadora. Everybody laughed, except Sam.

"Whatever, I don't give a damn about what you say," frowned Sam.

"Okay then, Goodnight everyone," Alaric said and everyone went to bed.

A lot of secrets got revealed today, but did everyone shared? That's a question we can't guess an answer to.

Things were going pretty well, but who knows till when it was going to last. Although, this day was no doubt going to be an unforgettable one. All the emotions that they felt today were going to last and this was just the beginning.

A sin saved is a sin earned, but commitment can sometimes save you.

Or maybe not, who knows?
