Return

'Damn! How could I be so stupid?'

Haruto cursed inside his mind. Right, he actually forgot to ask Eisha about how to find those crystals!

Thankfully it looks like he was capable of tracking the crystals when they're nearby. Though he needed to focus his sense when doing so unless he was extremely nearby.

But now that he thought about it Eisha too would have told him herself if he needed to know how to find them. The fact she did not say anything was perhaps because she already knew about him able to track the crystals. After all, it was the task she gave to him herself, there's no point if she did not give a clue to him and he couldn't find them because of it right?

Well at least he managed to find one here. He didn't know how this crystal was able to get inside a dungeon but there's no way to figure it out.

Apparently his maximum range of detecting the crystal was about 200 meters. That's not very far but it cannot be helped.

He looked around the vicinity but just like Eisha said the others could not see the crystal besides him. Even though the crystal in his hand was glowing brightly no one paid any attention, as if it did not exist in their eyes.

With this he could ask Eisha to summon another bisho-*cough* *cough* another companion to help him. He's trying hard to maintain his expression. Thankfully no one paid any attention to him right now or else they might be taken aback from seeing his current face.

He saw Selianna took out the dungeon core and it started to shake. Before long it would collapse and disappeared but a portal should opened to exit the dungeon during the process.

It was at this time Haruto finally put down his guard. He confirmed his sense was indicating for the crystal and the dungeon conquered successfully. And just right now someone sent a telepathy to him

{Moshi-moshi Kami-sama?}

'Nn?'

{Elsie? What do you mean moshi moshi? This is not a phone you know? Well I guess it was similar but still.... Anyway what happened?}

{What do you mean what happened!? Where are you Kami-sama? We're very worried here!}

{Ah, actually-}

'Huh?'

Suddenly a strange sensation struck upon him. His body lost strength and his vision was blurring. Extreme weariness as if he was just completed a full marathon. His eyes were drowsy and his mood turned very bad and sluggish.

'Wha..t happe..ned..?'

He fell on his knees about to fell unconscious.

"Haruto!"

Before he completely fell down someone caught his body. The hand felt soft and warm around his chest. But right now he couldn't feel that sensation, even maintaining his consciousness was torturing.

Right, why did he even need hold out?

Screw this...

Finally he closed his eyes and shut down his mind. Before his awareness was fading a few number of people seemed to calling out his name but he couldn't care less about that, he just wanted to sleep and ignored everything....

....

"Well, he seems to have fallen asleep."

Selianna said still holding Haruto's body with her hands. She already finished analyzing his body and learned what just happened.

"Looks like it, I guess it cannot be helped." Lena nodded, agreed with her superior beside her, once again supporting her body with her shoulders after she ran out on her own to catch his body. She passed Haruto's body to another knight to carry.

The other knights too did not make a ruckus. They seemed to completely sure that Haruto was fine. One of them put his body on his back after receiving him from Lena.

While the surrounding was still shaking a purple portal just like the cave entrance suddenly appeared on air.

"Finally it's opened. Let's hurry back from here, we need to report about our mission. I'm sure his companions are worrying about him too." She smiled towards the sleeping boy.

"As you wish Selianna-sama" Lena smiled and bowed her head.

"Oh and Jake, in regards of your actions during the mission we will discuss about your punishment on later time, you better prepare yourself." Selianna turned her head and glared at Jake.

"...Yes." He hung his head and answered weakly.

Lena looked towards her boyfriend and shook her head while sighing. This time he nearly caused complete annihilation of the team from his recklessness. No matter how she would like to help him his error was just too great. Fortunately for him and for them Haruto managed to save the day. But he's bound to receive severe punishment, it's likely his status as a knight would be rescinded.

Since no matter what he's still her childhood friend even if they're not lovers she couldn't abandon him just like that. She would try to say something to the higher ups in case the punishment was too severe. But if it prove to be futile then it could not be help, she already tried everything she can. And to be honest she too bore some grudges for endangering their lives.

The atmosphere turned tense and gloomy so nobody said anything until they exited the dungeon.

Sometime after Selianna and the rest returned back to the city.

A figure suddenly appeared in the vicinity of the forest. The figure examined the dungeon that just disappeared. The cave itself still exist but the purple portal had already gone, turning it into a normal cave.

"...So it's already been conquered."

The figure murmured solemnly. That person closed their eyes as if trying to sense something.

"As expected huh. Well no matter, I've already gained valuable data and this experiment could be considered as a success."

The figure grinned widely and chuckled. For some reason even the monsters were escaping far from the figure, extremely afraid.

"But still..."

Before long the figure's smile disappeared and they looked at the direction the knights went to.

"I did not expect a High Knight to be capable of slaying 'that'. Did I make a mistake on measuring its power? No..."

The figure remembered about a single youth that clearly did not belong on the member of the knights.

"I couldn't feel the depth of his power, did he able to hide his strength? How interesting...."

They smirked and recalled the appearance of the youth with black clothing being piggybacked by one of the knight.

"Well it's not like he was the only one capable of doing that perhaps he too was a 'special' one just like us... But just in case I'll remember his face. Who knows, we might met again in the future kukuku."

The figure cackled like a madman before they snapped their finger and disappeared from the place in an instant.

Just like they said, they would surely met again with each other in the near future. Perhaps a confrontation between the young Saiyan and the mysterious figure was already unavoidable.
