Narration (Travis Richardson)

Gotham City, notoriously corrupt and plagued by excessively high crime rates, Gotham has been dominated by a series of crime lords throughout its modern history. Following the downfall of long-standing crime organization the Falcone crime family, Gotham found itself plagued with an array of super-villains, such as "Bane", Two-Face", "Harley Quinn", "The Riddler" "Mr.Freeze", "The Penguin" and one of the worst.. "The Joker." who had little interest in order like any mob family before them, which led to the city being plunged into chaos on several occasions.

The city was isolated from the rest of the United States and had been evacuated due to the terrorist, Jeremiah Valeska, with the assistance of the League of Shadows, planting bombs around the city causing the bridges to and from Gotham to be destroyed, having enabled many residents of the city to flee prior, leaving small amounts of citizens with crime-riddled villains across the city. Over a year following the cataclysm, Gotham eventually rejoined the mainland, and the badly damaged parts began to be redeveloped. Ten years later, a costumed vigilante made his presence known in the city as its protector.

His name, was "Batman..."

However though, this time around in the Year of 2020, Batman's house exploded from the "Knightfall Protocol." after Scarecrow revealed Batman's true identity as "Bruce Wayne." now that he's gone and all of the others are either gone out of Gotham or dead rotting in the streets. No one was there to protect Gotham anymore. Everyone that was stopped, got back out causing chaos in our Gotham City streets, the GCPD had no choice but to retreat...Then, that faithful day, changed my life for the better.

My name Is Travis Richardson, martial arts and college graduate...this is my story of how I became...

"Robin."

Present Day: January, 5th 2020 (After the Christmas days...) GCPD HQ

"Alright, everyone calm down! We'll get through this situation properly!"

There he was, the man of the hour. James Gordon, the commander of the GCPD and the Ex-Partner of Batman. He was a legend, just much as Batman. I can't even believe he survived this long with all the crime fighting. But either way, It was an honor....We're all trapped here in the GCPD Headquarters, ever since all of the villains took over the city.

"How are we going to be safe!? We can't just stay here!" One guy says, looking at Gordon, he did make a good point we were just doing nothing, If we had to protect our city we were going to fight. But I wouldn't dare to just go out there, we would all get ourselves killed..

"You GCPD bastards always think you're superior, you'll never get the job done without some goddamn vigilante!" The male gets closer to Gordon and gets in more an angry tone with him. Cops were about to restrain him, but Gordon revokes them back. Gordon stares at the male then says something that puts chills down his spine.

"Can't you tell If I'm lying? Can't you hear my heartbeat or see my pulse quicken? I feel the same way you do, but If you want to go and join the rest of the poor innocents that were killed thanks to those maniacs...Please, go ahead, walk right out that door." The male looks down and defeated, Gordon tells him that he made the good choice and then the officers sends him away.

Hours passed, people were starting to cry, others were hungry and wondering what's happening out there. But that all comes down hill when we all hear a loud BANG! It was the front doors, then there It was again, then a third time...AND BOOM! It was Bane, Joker, Mr.Freeze and tons of goons. Everyone screamed as we saw all of the original villains. The Joker holds up an AK-47 and starts firing at the civilians as if they were nothing...Bane and Mr.Freeze gather up hostages also while fighting the GCPD. I needed to hide and get out of here...and quickly!

As all of the Villains were distracted with hostages and Thugs were everywhere. But I took a chance to finally get out of there..I took a quick action to hide behind a table and sneak past some of them. Good thing that the front door was right there, but there was also a vent. As I was going to take a moment of opportunity, there came Mr.Freeze with his Ice Gun he starts to fire and freeze almost everything In front of me.

"Who's there?!" Mr.Freeze says, searching the area, he orders Bane to also search the area to see if anyone is hiding. Even though he takes orders from no one, especially Mr.Freeze, he agree's with this and begins searching. Now I'm even on more high alert...not only the Thugs, but Mr.Freeze and Bane also.

"I do not like being lied to..So don't tell me If you haven't found anyone. Now get a move on!"

He says to a Random thug. Mr.Freeze wasn't in a good mood, I had to get away as soon as possible. I head my way to the wall vent very quietly. Luckily, Bane chose the wrong table and destroys it with his massive power! Even without his Venom Tanks, Bane could still crush a normal human being. Which is why I had to go. Using my smarts, I opened the vent by using a tool that I found...

Unluckily though, I made a little noise after I crawled through the vents..Dammit. Mr.Freeze calls out to Bane telling him to reach for the vents, destroy anything that he could so that he could find me. Bane agree's and starts to bash his fist head on the brick walls since he knew where the Vents lead, outside. It was risky, but I didn't had much of a choice. There was a nearby hole that I could jump In. This was actually a very large vent...But I crawled and crawled, my knees it a few shards of glass but I fought the pain off anyway. Bane suddenly breaks another wall and almost grabs me...

"Holy shit!" I screamed, before doing a forward roll dodging his grab and entering and falling through the hole. I fell for at least two minutes, before landing. My body really feels crazy pain after that fall. I held my arm and I realize that I'm actually okay. But how am I going to get the hell out of this sewer? But then I saw a few things...As It was guiding me. Using my perception, my eyes catches some sort of boomerang...It looks like the Batman's symbol that I always see in the sky...

Wait, isn't this.... "The Batarang?" I was entirely shocked, The batarang is a roughly bat-shaped throwing weapon used by the Gotham City vigilante Batman as a non-lethal ranged attack alternative to firearms, which he rejects outright due to the circumstances of his parents' murder. The name is a portmanteau of bat and boomerang, and were first referred to as baterangs....The batarang serves as instruments of disarming, distraction, confusion, hell it's simply to warn would-be adversaries that the Batman is present. In fact as I walked up to It, there were more around the corner, as It was a guidance. I continued to follow through the sewer counting the batarangs as I go. 5.....15....30...55.....60.

After the count of 60, I came to a hidden door and a lever. I pulled down the lever as there was another steel door, revealing more security and very harmful lasers that probably won't kill me, but badly injure me. I stood, not scared. A little drone appears as a hologram and starts to scan me. Saying my name "Travis Richardson." It tells me that I've learn a few things about survival even though I'd doubt I would ever survive animals in the wild or hard training. The drone also mentions that I followed the path to the Batcave, thanks to Bruce Wayne's last words in the Knightfall protocol. As said by Batman: "Whoever finds this cave, has passed my test. They've probably survived an encounter with the villains that I've faced before and found his way here in the sewer. Whoever you are, you are the new protector of Gotham City...you will be pushed to your limits and prove yourself that you will surpass any other hero that came before you. You will be known as the 7th "Robin." Good luck and goodbye, Batman out." The hologram of Batman disappears. I started to tear, Batman was really gone. But I had to grab the torch that he's passing. I accepted the oath of being as Robin and the new protector of Gotham. The Drone scans me one more time before speaking again: "Travis Richardson, welcome home... "Robin." the hologram disappears and opens the unbreakable steel door..As I walk in through this door, I see one of the best things I had seen in years, the Batcave but..it's totally destroyed, besides the Batcomputer and other incredible models. Till then, I saw a man sitting on a chair, programming the Batcomputer.

"Took you long enough, boy. Welcome..." I see the man spin 180 degrees in the chair and reveals his face.

"My name, Is Alfred Pennyworth.."
