Chapter 29

Alex drove through the woods with Hope and Edythe discussing which animals should they hunt for today's meal and Alex chuckled at how easily they were talking about killing an animal.

Both Lily and Hope heard his chuckling and looked at him with confusion. Alex felt their gazes and said without taking his eyes off the road," After hearing your conversation I was thinking about the reaction of people who think that girls hate killing animals."

Both of them realised what Alex is trying to say and suddenly their fangs come out, both of them smiled and Edythe said," we are not like normal girls. you won't be able to find the third monster more dangerous like both of us."

Alex smiled devilishly and said," oh I was thinking that I am the monster here but looks like I am wrong, very wrong." he looked at them and his eyes start glowing in red colour while the ends of his hair turned snow-white, his big fangs come out of his mouth while he released some of his blood lust.

Both Edythe and Hope felt like a beast was looking at them and they have no way to escape from him. Alex saw fear in their eyes immediately return to his normal appearance. he said while laughing," Hahaha, both of you should look at your faces now. I am not a beast who will eat you so relax."

Both girls smiled nervously and nodded hurriedly. The remaining trip was silent and soon three of them reached the edge of a beautiful lake which reflects the sky and forest around it and some fog was spread over the lake. The scenery was looking very beautiful.

Meanwhile with Landon and the group

Ralph asked Lizzie while driving," Are you sure we are going in the right direction."

Lizzie nodded and said," I am sure this is the right way and we will see their car in 5 minutes.

Ralph nodded and keep driving while Landon asked," What was he thinking while bringing them to such a dense forest. how dangerous it can be for both Hope and that girl."

Everyone glanced at him weirdly and Josie said," first of all don't call her "that girl" because her name is 'Edythe' and for your kind information right now you are surrounded by people who are way more dangerous than those animals in this forest on top of that those three are way stronger than the average vampires."

Landon nodded and Lizzie asked Josie," what do you think how strong are three of them"

Josie said," I talked to Dad on the day when Alex called him to inform about his arrival and Dad told me that 'Alex' is even stronger than all originals combined."

Lizzie took a deep breath with wide eyes and asked her," Do you think we are doing the right thing by interfering in their life."

Ralph said," this question does not matter anymore because I can already see their car in front."

All of them also saw the car and Ralph also parked their car near the Suv and come out of it.

When all of them come out Ralph noticed the letter on the windscreen of the car. Ralph picked up the letter in confusion and others also saw him picking up the letter from the car and came close to him to see what was written in it.

Ralph start reading the letter in a voice loud enough for everyone to hear," I always knew all of you will follow us in the name of taking a peek at how does this place looks and I am seriously not very bothered by it because it's always me and girls so it will be fun to have your company. it's just I want you to hunt for food as I am very tired today and if you didn't, then I won't mind eating a werewolf and Human for dinner too."

The letter ended, there was also a picture cute bat but Ralph didn't look at the picture and said," Is this a warning that if we didn't bring the food he will eat us."

Josie," What else can it be, he always knew that we will follow them and now we have to hunt a dear for them."

Landon said in anger," Couldn't he purchase that from the supermarket. why is he so obsessed with hunting for it?"

Lizzie," because it will provide them with the freshest meat, humans maybe don't understand it while eating but vampires' taste buds are very sensitive and they will immediately know if the meat is cut right from the animal or frozen for some time."

Landon nodded and Ralph said," so what should we do now."

Lizzie with a lazy expression," of course go and hunt a god damn dear."

Ralph with a frown asked," won't both of you help us."

Josie," why would we do that? he will eat both of you not us so you should be the one who is hunting."

Ralph," you.."

Ralph was about to say something but Landon interject and said," Ralph we should go and hunt for food because soon it will be dark and maybe Alex will have to go for the hunt which won't be pleasing right."

Ralph become silent and went in another direction with Landon to hunt and Josie, Lizzie start walking on the path which goes inside the forest.
