9 Fuinjutsu

Yoshio picked up Naruto and exited the Hokage building feeling satisfied. He glanced at the contents of the scroll given to him by Hokage and was delighted to find some instructions on it.

He could see some easy and some complex fuinjutsu kanji symbols on the scroll. It was written there that he had to reach the level when he can carve these symbols perfectly in one go before starting creating low level seals for real. At least he had a direction to proceed now and pass his time while at it.

Naruto - Nii chan, what did you talk with jiji for so long ?

Yoshio - Hmm.. it's a surprise. First let's go to my home and there you can play with my little brother Shika.

Naruto - Yatta.

Naruto became excited and Yoshio sighed while thinking that the blonde kid really did not want to go back to orphanage early. He smiled and took Naruto to Nara clan compound while giving him a piggy bad ride all the way. They reached there soon and Yoshio immediately shuddered at the entrance because he saw his mom standing there with a scary smile on her face.

Yoshio - Mom.. dont be angry. I only went to old man Hokage's office. That's I am late..

Yoshino - Huh.. my smart boy, it doesn't change the fact that you worried your parents by not informing us beforehand. So wait to be punished later.

Yoshio sighed inwardly and accepted the fact that he could not avoid punishment. Well it was not something exaggerated anyway as he only had to take care of deers in Nara clan's personal grounds during his weekly off days from the academy..

Naruto was a bit intimidated at first but soon started smiling as Yoshino held his hand and started guiding him inside with a motherly smile on her face.

Yoshio had not even entered the courtyard yet when he heard a childish but excited voice calling for him.

Shikamaru - Nii san .. Nii san.. welcome back. Was academy fun?

The current Shikamaru was not as lazy as his anime counterpart because he was just a 3 year old kid and most importantly he truly loved to being pampered by his big brother.

Yoshio smiled as he picked up chibi Shika from the ground and pinched his cute nose playfully.

Yoshio - We will chat later but first meet your new friend whom I brought with me. Naruto, meet my little brother Shika.

Naruto - Osu. I'm Uzumaki Naruto dattebayo.

Shikamaru checked out Naruto curiously for a second before smiling and shaking hands with him.

Shikamaru - I'm Nara Shikamaru. Do you want to play tag?

Naruto - Really ? Let's play dattebayo..

Both the kids ran off immediately while Yoshio and Yoshino watched them with gentle smiles from behind.

Yoshio - Mom, I'm not hungry right now so please call me when its dinner time..

Yoshino - Oh.. my son looks excited to try something. Tell me what it is quickly?

Yoshino tickled little Yoshio with her fingers playfully as she enjoyed the displeasure of her little son.

Yoshio - Mouu..( pout ) Dont do that again. I'm going to borrow a brush and ink from dad's room and then start practicing calligraphy..

Yoshio then ignored his mom's puzzled look and immediately dashed towards his dad's room. He was not going to tell his parents that he is learning fuinjutsu yet..

Meanwhile inside Hokage office.

Kakashi - Do you think I can take care of him properly Hokage sama?

Hokage - I dont know Kakashi kun. I only this that Naruto needs someone to take care of him and guide him correctly. I have confidence in you for this task. Kakashi, I know that you have many emotional wounds but know this that they will only heal with time and love.

Kakashi - I will try my best Hokage sama. Wont the council be against this decision? I remember that they made a fuss when I tried to adopt Naruto before when he was just a newborn..

Hokage - * sigh * Dont worry about them as I wont let them interfere in my decision this time. Somebody has already leaked the secret of Naruto being the jinchuriki of Kyuubi to public. One more reason that I made this decision is because I believe that you are more than capable of protecting Naruto from harm from the villagers who are clouded with hatred now...

Kakashi - * shocked * Who is the culprit Hokage sama? They dare to leak a S rank secret to general public...

Kakashi released his killing intent because he could guess that Naruto must have suffered already.

Hokage - ( Damn it Danzo! What have you done? I did not expect this from you my old friend..) Its being investigated currently. Calm down Kakashi as displaying your anger now isn't the solution.

Kakashi - Hai Hokage sama..

Kakashi regained his bearing but his heart was still filled with rage. On the other hand Hokage reveled his soft attitude towards his old friend and still did not take any immediate action against Danzo. If Yoshio knew this fact then he would only say that ' he knew it already '. After all it was impossible for Hokage who commanded so many skilled ninja , to not know about Danzo's vile actions. His softness brought much disaster to the victims who fell prey to Danzo's victims for decades now..

Yoshio oblivious of this little meeting at Hokage office was now practicing calligraphy inside his room with a writing brush in his hand. He was trying to write kanji for Fire but faced difficult to write it one single clean stroke.. For a lazy person like him, such repetitive tasks were torture but he decided to hang on for few days until he mastered the shadow clone jutsu. Now that awesome jutsu was perfect for a lazy person like him...
