97 Chapter 97

I release a sigh and lean over the couch. This is a mess.

The four Satans decide to have an emergency meeting. That means Amaterasu, Susanoo, Tsukuyomi, and Yasaka are currently discussing this mess with them. That leaves Asia, Kunou, and me alone.

However, there is something that irritates me. I take a quick glance to the right and see a young devil glaring at me. The one glaring at me is Diodora Astaroth. It looks like he is among the people who managed to stay outside the barrier when the Khaos Brigade attacked us.

I wonder why he is glaring at me. Is he upset that he cannot kidnap Asia? What? Does he think that I did not notice his lust and greed showing every time he looks at Asia? I will not let him get close to her.

I only need a good reason to kill him, and I will kill him.

"Excuse me."

I snap from my thoughts, look to the left, and see Rias, Sona, and their peerage members walk toward me.

"Yes? What can I do for you guys?"

"Can we sit here?"

"Of course. This is your territory, after all."

"Lilith is a neutral territory in the underworld that only falls under Lucifer's rule."

"And your brother is a Lucifer, so your argument is invalid."

Rias' smile gets bigger, and she takes a seat next to Kunou and says,

"That is true. Anyway, I came here because we have a few questions for you, if you don't mind."

I nod and say.

"Yeah, sure. I don't mind answering a few questions. Ask away."

"Thank you. First thing first, are you truly a son of a dragon?"

Ah, it looks like the news of me getting adopted by Grandeeney has already spread, huh? Well, I guess it cannot be helped as Grandeeney proudly admits that I am her son.

"Yup. Grandeeney is my mother. She is my second mother who teaches me magic."

I push a little bit of Sky Dragon Slayer magic and create a small magic circle that summons a small tornado that spins on my palm.

"That is not normal magic. That is draconic in nature."

I look up and see Issei standing behind Rias with his left hand covered in a red gauntlet. That must be the infamous Boosted Gear. It's one of the few Sacred Gear that can kill even Gods if the user is powerful enough.

And the one talking to me is drawing inside that gauntlet.

"That means that woman is the one teaching you, huh? Not only that, she also puts some of her energy inside of you to make your magic mimic the attribute of a dragon."

I blink at his words. I am surprised that he created that kind of conclusion that makes sense. It was not that, but that is a great theory.

"I am surprised that you know a lot about magic, Red Dragon Emperor. I thought that you and your rival only knew brute force. At least that is what the other dragon is telling me."

"Hmph. I might not like magic, but I am old enough to know about them and how they work, boy."

I nod and say.

"Fair enough."

And the gauntlet vanishes from Issei's hand. Issei looks at me with a sheepish expression and says,

"I am sorry about him. He is interested in your magic and decided to talk with you directly."

I give him a smile and say.

"Don't worry about it."

Rias nods and says.

"As for the next question, my rook wants to ask you a small question, if you don't mind."

I look at the small Nekoshou, who looks at me with a frown and confusion. I know that she hates Senjutsu, but what about the confusion?

"Ask your question, little kitten."

I hold myself back when I see her frown get bigger, but I decide to ignore my words and say,

"How can you use Senjutsu? The same with her. She and you can use Senjutsu. That should not be possible, and your Senjutsu is different."

I tilt my head and gather Natural Energy to enter Sage Mode. I smile a little when I see her look at me with even more confusion and a little hint of fear in her eyes.

"There is nothing possible. As for the way I use Senjutsu… It was a secret, I am sorry. Only people under Yasaka can learn of this technique."

I can see Rias release a sigh of disappointment but nod her head.

"It is different because it was a different technique from the other youkai used. We did not force Nature Energy and make it bend our way. That is all I can say."

Koneko looked disappointed but did not force me to answer. Seeing her nod, I smile and say.

"Is there anything else?"

Rias gives me a sultry smile and says.

"Do you want to join my peerage? I still have a knight piece for you."

"I am sorry, but I am not interested in becoming a devil."

"Ah, what a shame."

A teenage boy might fall for your sultry smile, Rias. However, I am an adult, and Yasaka is a vixen who can seduce even God if she makes an effort to do it. Your attempt to seduce me will not work. Yasaka has bigger and bouncier breasts.

Speaking of Yasaka, she and the others walk toward me. By the look of their faces, the meeting is something that they did not like.

Yasaka looks at me and, without telling me anything, I already know that we will get out of here. I nod, and Asia and Kunou follow me as I leave the mansion. We get out of the mansion, and Amaterasu quickly snaps her finger and then teleports us to the palace in Kyoto.

We go to the meeting room while Asia and Kunou decide to play in their room. When we are alone, I decide to ask them what is happening.

"What happened in the meeting room?"

Yasaka looks at me and says.

"We learn that the people that are attacking us are coming from one group. What makes matters worse is that there are people from our faction who join that group."

I frowned at that news because this was news to me.

"Youkai or Shinto Faction?"

"Shinto, possibly both."

"Huh? Are you sure about this news? How can they know that one of us joined that terrorist group?"

Amaterasu takes out a katana and places them on the table.

"This weapon can only be made using a metal that only grows in Takamagahara. Only a few families that worship some of us can access this kind of metal. Either the family that gets the metal joins this group, or one of the Gods joins this group."

Amaterasu grits her teeth in anger and continues.

"However, by the amount of metal the devil found, we can assume that one of the Gods decided to join this terrorist group."

Oh. Shit. This is worse than the canon timeline.
