92 Chapter 92

I must admit that Lilith City is great. The entire city looks like a mega city. Hell, it can be said that it is a country instead of a city. The city is three times the size of Singapore, with twenty percent of the Devil Population staying in this place. The reason? Demonic Beasts that roam the land.

It looks like the underworld is similar to the world of Remnant. If Remnants have Grimm as a threat to their population, the underworld of this world has Demonic Beasts.

There are not as many demonic beasts as Grimm in Remnant, but they are still a threat to the underworld. Because of this, there are many devils that patrol the important area. This is also the reason why there is a long and tall wall on the edge of Lilith City.

It takes an hour of train ride to arrive at Lilith City, where a group of people once again greets us. However, this time, Lucifer himself and his group greeted us. Sirzechs smiles at us and says.

"Welcome to Lilith City, honored guests. Please follow me. I will take you to the rating game arena."

We followed him to the limo and entered the car. What's with the devil race and limo? At least it is comfortable and filled with snacks and drinks. I let the others have the talk while I enjoyed the whiskey Sirzechs already prepared for us.

The ride is pleasant and not too long. We arrived in front of a massive gladiator arena in ten minutes. Sirzechs takes us to the third floor and into a large room that lets us see what happens in the arena. However, we are not the only group in this room.

I can see an old man sitting while drinking what looks like a beer. He looks at us, smirking and saying,

"Oh? The Sun and Moon of the East and Lightning Brat! Long time no see!"

When that old man says that, I can see Susanoo click his tongue and say.

"Pervert old man, I think it is time for someone your age to have a little nap."

"Ohohoho~ This is an adult-only room, brat. You can take the public seat over there. Don't worry, I will pay."

"This is an adult-only room, old man. The elderly cannot come here and are recommended to go home. You should watch the match from your rocking chair so you can fall asleep easier."

The two of them glare at each other for a few seconds before suddenly the two of them laugh loudly.

"Please enjoy the show. If you are hungry, you can eat all the snacks or call one of the maids by ringing that bell over there. I apologize for not accompanying you, but I must prepare for today's tournament. Excuse me."

After saying that, he and his group leave the VIP room.

"That Sir-Boy looks very serious in front of you guys." Odin looks at Susanoo and asks, "What happened?"

Instead of Susanoo, who answers his question, Amaterasu is the one answering.

"They broke too many promises and contracts between our two factions. One more problem, and we will cut off all connections between our two factions."

Odin nods his head and says.

Odin opens one of the beer cans and says.

"What kind of thing makes you guys punish them like that?"

"If you say so. Anyway, that is the reason why they take their army and make them patrol around the arena."

Yeah. I notice that as well. There are many devils with military-style uniforms walking around the arena. They want to make sure our visit to this place does not go sideways. I shake my head and look at the list of people that will fight in this tournament.

The fight will be interesting. Rias Gremory will fight against Sairaorg Bael, just like in the canon. However, what really catches my attention is that Riser Phenex and his peers will fight Seekvaira Agares. If I remember correctly, they are a family that can use power over time, right? If used correctly, it can be a powerful ability. Depending on your control and imagination, it can be an overpowering ability. I don't know what kind of limit the devil has over their innate power, but I feel that limit has a high ceiling if they push hard enough.

"Welcome!"

I snap from my thoughts and look at the arena to see a young man with blue hair holding a mic in his hand. 

"My name is August Paimon! And I will be your emcee for today's gathering! First thing first! Let's see the match for today!"

He claps his hand, and suddenly, a list of people appears above him on the hologram. Hmmm, no one that I know appears on that list. What a shame.

"The first fight will start in five minutes! Please enjoy the show!"
