Chapter 101

Hyakki Yakou, the Night Parade of One Hundred Demons, is a group of elite youkai under Nurarihyon. There are a hundred of them, hence the name, and they are all high-class beings. Some of them have already reached an Ultimate Class, but only barely.

Of course, I did not know where to start grading someone in the Ultimate class, but I can compare them to Yasaka, as Susanoo says she finally reached a mid-rank Ultimate class last week.

However, the last bit of information is interesting. Circling around the globe is not easy, and I only heard about it once. Even then, the people flying the plane need a lot of fuel inside their plane so they can refuel it while the engine is still running.

He looks at me for a second before nodding. He taps the Toto's hull three times and watches as the ship stops moving. I give him a nod and take a deep breath. I look at the island and 'shout.'

My shout was not a shout but rather a whisper, but it was enough to show its effect. The entire island lit up from my shout. This shout lets me know how many opponents are in one place and strategize how to beat them because my ally can see them as well. This shout should not take a lot from me, but because of how many of them there are, it drains me quite a bit.

"Can you see them?"

I can see him nodding and saying.

"Yeah. I see them, alright. There should be around three hundred of them in that place. Also, most of them are coming down from the sea. That means they are underground."

"And that makes fighting them even more dangerous. What should we do? Should we send a small number of teams to sneak around the island?"

He stays silent for a few seconds before giving me a grin.

"Do you know how Hyakki Yakou deals in this kind of situation?"

Oh god. I know that grin. I know that grin will result in trouble. Kunou wears that when she is about to do some prank. I can only sigh and say.

A young woman with seven fluffy tails behind her back looks to the sky with a small smile on her face and says.

"See, Haru? They are predictable. Nurarihyon will always attack head-on when he brings his elite army with him. It is within his nature."

Haru, a middle-aged man wearing an onmyouji outfit, sighed and said,

"I admit that you know more about him than I do. However, it did not do anything when they landed in our base and destroyed all our plans, Hanabi."

Hanabi only smiles and says.

"Fufufufu~ Because of their predictability, they are easy to defeat, my friend~."

She snaps her finger, and five Youkai who come with them fly away to each corner of the island.

"I already prepared a trap for them."

While she says that, a massive magic circle appears in the sky and disappears a couple of seconds later.

"This is a Youjutsu that took me a couple of months to create. It will create a storm, but this spell concentrates all the lighting the storm generates at a single point."

A massive blue light gathers above Toto the Takarabune. Seeing the light Hanabi smile gets bigger.

"And destroy anything it touches! Hahahahaha!"

She laughs hysterically and is ready to watch the destruction of Nurarihyon and his group. She knows that it will not kill Nurarihyon or his high-ranking men but it will kill most of his members who come with him.

She is already planning for this and even leaves a trail to her base for this moment. It was a high-risk plan but if she managed to defeat Nurarihyon or even kill him, it was a good enough reward to use this high-risk plan.

Sadly for her, she did not put one person into consideration. A young human standing next to Nurarihyon who already takes a deep breath. This young man is Ryan and after a second, he releases his shout into the sky.

"Lok Vah Koor! (Sky Spring Summer)!"

Hanabi and Haru can hear that word and widen their eyes when they see the black cloud in the sky disappear and show the clear blue night sky. Haru look at Hanabi and says.

"What now?"
