7 Chapter 6- The public
The ball flew and flew through the large gap between the two islands, known as the sky. The Ball began to drop, heading towards the edge of the island, onto the same looking canon. The cannon signaled out magnetic energy that stops the ball as it traveled above its head. It was like the ball hitting into a thick sponge. The massive force behind the ball was all taken away in an insistent within the estimated distance of 30 cm. The ball was soaked behind the top of the canon before bubbling back above the cannon and stabilizes.
I shut my eyes until a small bib that showed on my view. It was a small message repeatedly rolling slowly on the bottom of my view, letting me know the ball has landed. The metal plate of the outside rolled upwards, and I walked out.
I walked down onto the thickened blue carpets like the one inside the ball. The whole place was covered by it. It was so soft; it barely feels like I was standing. It was relaxing and bouncy, a nice design for walking on the large public platform, that from a bird's view, looks like an unfinished puzzle.
The floor was uneven with some holes between large verity of shaped islands, with a few large walking streets that connect the surround islands. A bridge that connects above the sky. Between the islands with the exception of the bridge areas, the islands all about even, with large holes that create a gap. Above those gaps on the level where Anna is at, are high dirt islands, filled with plant life that serves for fresh air and relaxation area. Below those holes on the level Anna's standing, there's a platform filled with water few centimeters below the platform of the above, supplying the water in the platform, trees, and plants on the roads and also serve to look fabulous at night with a simple, colourful light shooting out from the below. This feeling of a simple flash of light creates many nostalgic memories for all females, of those days when perverts use to hide under some cars or waterways just sneak a pick with a flash of wonders before people realize forcing just girls to wear skirts is sexist. Hmmm… the stupidity of human beings.
Anyways, beneath the platform of water, is the platform dealing with; water, waste and humility, electricity and some other stuff. This platform is filled with machines with only about 100 people below controlling the entire field of machines that is almost equal to the large size of the public space above, including the gaps between the islands. This place has many see-through tubes that lead to the world beyond the self-contained sky islands and into the world of high degrees. They at times suck in the clouds from the outside to fill the water shortage throughout the year, after taking the waste and genes out of it first, using the 'multi-separation' tube. The tube itself can compress things but also separate the programmed item listed. The method of gathering materials also follows a similar method as people or machines of the below, hands us sands and other materials. The dangerous compounds were separated from the clouds as it was sucked through the tube, creating electricity through friction inside the tube which is used for some lights, moving straight elevators on the roads, but most commonly stored in a large battery for places that are low of energy due to large amounts of people. The water is then later on stored in the water layer above that has a field covering on the top that only allows air in. When humility gets too high due to the magnetic fields around the sky islands, sometimes, those water in the air is also stored in water. The things that are separated from the clouds are separated into two, safe water and waste which we droop right back to earth.
The place where I landed was near the edge, with the back that is facing the main road of behind being blocked in view by a fence of tall green trees that acts as a wall. Sugi got off behind me.

I doubled the thickness of the bottom of the shoe, doubling the bound power.
I push out my arms in front of me
"Sugi, in my arms, I am going to jump."
A called from Anna suddenly get to me out the blue as I just got out the dark ball, and still waiting for my eyes to adjust. I did as Anna asked, and jumped into her arms. She didn't do anything funny to me, but she almost looked like she was about water off her mouths and it was clear she was trying to it in as she stared down at me for a half a second.
Her skins were sooo soft. I am almost watering as I stopped it from coming out by swallowing it. I want to be normal, it was a side that I don't really want others to see, but it seems like Sugi has already known this side about me.

I created and stuck a 30kg rock on my back as I jumped up and fall down, creating enough bounce power to jump over the 10m tall trees behind the ball we just left.

The rock was gone.

The base of my shoe turned into a soaking material as I was about to land on the ground. The usual bounce that the shoe causes typically was completely neglected, creating this harmless landing from 10 meters high, while carrying a person, as the fall was soaked in the bottom of the shoe.
Sugi slipped off my arms as I bent my knee to lower the height and dropped my right arm down while retaining the other's height. My ankle turned a right and pushed on it, following the direction of the two-sided road, separated by rectangular water holes and stretched through the many 40cm grey stones that serve as a plant pot. The plant pot was filled with dirt containing tall coconut trees like trees that are separated from each other. The pot is bottomless with a field that stops the dirt but allows the tree roots to grow further in the water. Each time the water hits the roots, it also creates friction, generating electricity within the trees to supply the power port at the bottom of the tree near the dirt. The tree's leaf or top is used as a solar panel as the winds blow on the leaves also cause energy. The tree is like a pole with a stair case, allowing kids and others to climb to the top, with the bottom starting off as 6m wide and gets to 2m at the top. If the someone does fall in any place, enough to hurt you, a system is activated to make a rubber-like a field around you to make you bounce.
Anna turned from the direction of looking at the trees with children's climbing as Sugi slipped off her arms. They turn a right and followed the open road that is separated into two parts that are parallel with few spaces which you can cross sides to get the shops or place on the other side. Anna ran along the loose people streets on top of the wonderful blue carpet, insisting on a few leaves and rocks that sometimes get out of the tree pot.
Sugi and I that was following me saw a path of 45 degrees crossing the two roads and crossed it, though in a reality, we easily could have jumped over the tree pots with the shoes, I thought it would have been rude to interrupt those people sitting there. Through the lines of shops served my robots, I saw a drink store in the distance on ground level is serval metal stories above, consisting a second level walk path, with a bridge that connects between the sides of the tall building that has a shiny crystal look.
I looked at the store, with my brain thinking about it.

I linked information inside the shop. An icon in my view showed up in the front. I opened it and extended it bigger while keeping it slightly transparent by a simple thought. I saw the listed special offers, favorite buys and everything else underneath, consisting of them prise, and an information sign for actual intrigants inside, health rates, temperature, reviews from actual costumes and a description left behind by the makers. The icon of the glass of coffee and milk was lit as I ran. When I was about 2 meters to the front of the shop as negative yen icon popped up on the sides. A bottle of coffee rolled off a half opened metal tube from the inside of the shop and stopped at the sealed end of the tube 20cm outside the shop. I ran pass the opening of the store leading to the regular shelf place and scooped my coffee off the thin tube. The coffee was contained in a glass bottle, brokered into three thin layers; the first outer glass for holding, the second hollow area filled with air and the third glass to contain the liquid with some small parts joined up with the first layer. I popped off the black plastic top with an outer layer that matches the sealing surface's size with it slowing a little towards the inside, of about a small 5 or 3 degrees. The plastic top fits on the bottle top perfectly, with a curve at the edges that help to keep the top on the bottle, allowing the water not to flow out without turning the top in.
The coffee inside was perfectly hot with a bit of sweet favour mixed in it.
"Didn't you say, your family was poor and try to save money whenever possible."
"I did, but saving when possible, still means we should have our basic needs to keep us happy, even if that results in us not having as much money as we could have."

We continued the path to school, hopping our way through the bridges that connect the many islands for different topics. Due to the public platform being massively populated, flying is not allowed. We made a turn to the left when we got to the front of the third island that we traveled straight in a roll, named the city of the sweets. I wish I could have gotten some, but my parents hold me, it's better to have less of it, and so does my app in my vision say. The app on the right top along with the date, showing my consistent body condition, telling me whenever I need some rest. The app also sets as an alarm, activity dairy and reminder for sleep, that's best for my body. Though, I could always change the time.
We passed through any small islands over the span of 6 minutes, and now, it's 7:58. We passed through the; body makeshift, cold drinks, clothing plaza, primary school islands along with the kingdom of the slides where it's a fun game taken place in the sky with slides. It's a game where you have many slides, and you have to try to push someone off the slides when you fly through the gaps of the slides. Don't worry; there's an invisible soft block underneath them. It's an uncommon game for kids, so the islands were quite small.
Passing through the bridges, which connects the islands, I sometimes can see the earth ground from there whenever I decide to go near the low edge. The skies are normally filled with soft and thin clouds, that your eyes can barely see the place where the human race first originated. Looking when you stand on the edge and take a look down over the edge, you can see the platforms of people and machines sucking up clean and separated materials from the earth grounds through a tube. They sometimes wave at me when I wave at them, but they usually don't notice you, because either they are robots or humans that are too busy or not use to see humans looking down from the top floor. And don't worry, the emergency evaluating thing still works here if you are to fall over the edge, but you can never stand on a level above or below the first floor of where the normal people live. If you are you walk out from the island too much, however, some robot and human police will come flying on an air motorbike to help you.
I added an extra layer of fake muscles around my whole leg on both sides which didn't take much power nor yellow line. I passed the shadow emitted from the small island called the 'barrier central' where it's located in the dead center of the sky island. It's the island where the magnetic field is controlled and formed to control the yellow lines. This is the only island in the sky islands that doesn't float with the use of the yellow lines. Most islands are held in place by the dense yellow lines in the area which is more the reason the platform where most people work, play, shop and school is limiting the use of yellow lines, and relying of more old fashions of power. The barrier central is held up by few rare crystals dug from an empty space in the earth, named 'Elevaluinon.' Elevaluinon is ever received through hot balloons, because of the magnetic fields around there, communications are cut off with planes, and things doesn't work. No one was ever found Elevaluinnon inside the cold room has ever been the stone back. The letters from balloons that only way we know how they are going, until they've run out of balloons, though, they would always say they manage to find plenty of food, and we taught they were still alive. But it was only a few years later where we apply anti-magnetic stones on the fly machines with a camera that went in with a group of divers, found out a group of monsters that learned human language kills the human and steals their intelligence, sending balloons to the surface to only leer us in. The cold room was soon band afterwards. The monsters proper ably never attacked us due to the knowledge of our weaponry when on the first floor.
The Elevaluinon floats the barrier central, but with restrictions, it maintains the height. Since the barrier central is the control of the yellow lines and the barriers that hold the islands, when they ascend up the sky, you only wait till the barrier have started and lifted the central barrier up which in the cause to do the same to the platforms. Due to the greater number in the populations, the number of platforms begins to increase with an additional 12 side barriers that sever as a smaller barrier central that scatters evenly across the barrier in the middle regen between the middle and the outside to maintain balance.

We were looking straight at the school, as we ran across the green and blue crystal bridge, connecting from the island of fruits that is set up just like the island of sweets. When we got off the bridge, there was only a small lighted purple crystal for us to stand that goes around where the edge of the island is supposed to be, letting people walk around to the connecting islands. There was no ground on this island, as you can see the multi-separation' tubes and the water layer below. In the middle of the islands is a fat wrapped up cocoon-like structure, coloured in a shade of light brown. The outer made out a steel hard wooden, found on the layer surfaces of the cold room, which now are in mass production in heaven's garden, which are located and separated in the top and bottom of the inside of the field. In an artistic choice, some of the wooden are showed lightly peeled up with a curve on the outside. The wood is named the steel hardwood, not known for the hardness of steel but the flexibility of a sheet thin steel when the wood is also the same in thickness. The cocoon is the main building, with the the middle area of it having a platform sticking out with a small line of stairs leading you inside the pushed in the large opening to the inside of the building. There're windows around rooms that you can watch the outside from the inside, with times slighting the medium sized thin flat wooden circling the around the cocoon building without touching it that lessens the heat. The end of the cocoon that is pointing down is thin like a needle from a bee, stretching itself into the waters of below, to suck up water for the needs of the school. The cocoon's middle is the thickest part of the cocoon as it gets thinner expending from that point. The top cocoon is medium-large flatted, with a line of linked rectangular stairs leading down into the food court that you could get during pacific times of the lessons.
The reason for the wood used is not for the hardness or look, however; it's for the fact of low expanding in the heat and lessening in the cold. Above the school floats miniature yellow line releaser inside the personal magnetic field of the school ground, that doesn't affect the outside. Due to the consistent yellow lines that cover the building that stables it in the air the building will always stay the same shape. This makes the materials which the building is made from on the outside not important, and the only reason why this wood was chosen is the extreme lack of expanding and shrinking of the materials, it makes it long lasting without cracking. Anything solid would work fine with low expansion is fine really, it's just to give a solid foundation on the inside. It's the designer's choice, since the consistent use of yellow line inside the building, making it impossible for the yellow line to keep things stable inside, so support is needed. The wood serves as the frame of the building on the inside, holding all the layers together, being 3m thick. On the inside, a layer of glued mixes of smashes woods is added, with an additional layer of paint. On the outside, a thin layer of almost transport rubber is added on top to add extra shine and for a better landing for people who like to fly and land on walls and talk through the windows to get to their wanted areas. Or those that like to sit on the pieces of wood that looked peeled a little off the cocoon.
Anna looked up to see the many balls in about the double the size of the normal school classrooms of today. There were many of them scattered inside the field, with a thin layer of brick hovering above them to lessen the heat. They were the main classrooms for the students, with some that are designed for special learning or testing like archery or swimming. The balls have a thicker top and bottom with the middle hollow to fit in the middle piece that could slide in which takes its form as a door. The class starts off with the entire central portion open when the class opens at 7:40 for those that like to come early to get ready. Every five minutes, a fourth of the four doors is pulled down to make it shut, except the fourth where it closes and after 5 minutes it opens for fresh air and sunlight, usually speaking.

It was so busy, I didn't have time to take my attention off the roads to look at the time, but I know, I have less than 5 minutes left until the lesson starts and the roll will start to be marked.
I jumped forward into the field with Sugi following quickly behind me.

In this area, I could finally fly, due to this space being separated from the outside.
I created three wings on each side on my back, two top, two middles, two low. It was in a deep purple, with light, soft fur drifting off the edges of the wings from the hard to soft areas. The wing is separated into three parts, the short 0.8m part closest to the back, the 1.2m middle, and the 1.8m end, with all with a width of 0.8 with gentle slope downwards to avoid touching each other. The three wings on each side with direction control rather than speed as we aimed for the door to the inside of the ball.
I flapped through the skies to the slight left up, to a blue ball. The wind and the occasional dust that I had problems dealing when I was six is now gone, as I placed a perinate command to place a small field to block the dust and items that linked to solidify of what I consider wings as my eyes gradually get used to the wind. It is because having no wild movement in the eyes but around my body drives me insane since I love the cold wind feeling and unevency (that's a word now) hurts me, mentally.
I looked straight front. Due to the consistent need to looking at my surrounding in flight, my eyes have become quite sharp, seeing small detail and able to see about 190 around me when I look at the front, seeing behind me on both sides at the same time. As I rise the height of my flight, I bent my back a little backward without changing my wings. The building and place that looked at in front of me, simply slips off my sight below me as I look at the sky.

The field that is designed to stop item flying into my eyes darkens to my liking as it adjusts to my thoughts. I tuned a left I glide through the skies as my face finally saw the open door in a straight line. I took my last flap and bent my wings backward to fit through the door into the back of the class room, and bend my back backward to be straight as my body rises a little from the before momentum before as a little of wings is still open. My foot drops to the grey coloured thick carpet as Sugi followed a few seconds after.
