72 Chapter 27: Infiltration

We looked up to the entrance on the walls about 15 meters above us. We covered ourselves inside a sphere coloured like a rock. We made the insides rougher for more of an efficient energy transfer. We started walking, lifting and dropping our foot. We pushed our foot backward, causing the ball to move forward as if we're walking before we began to run. The sped through the plant area while losing a bit on the outside to make it look more convenient if so happens someone is watching. The rock passed the plants and into the dried dirt area to the wall where the entrance is located. I created a thin absorbing area on the wall for the rock to land, so it doesn't cause a voice if it happens no one was watching. If they were, they would be far away and shouldn't be able to hear the sound that's suppose to be made from the crush. We made the rock into the one-way glass to see the area around us. We were indeed on the dried dirt, right next to the wall where the entrance is located above us. The entrance has a few centimetres sticking outwards from the wall. We get to see a group of monster scrawling against the walls and making a curve to the roof. We waited for a little for the current group to finished their climb for a little, before we start our move.

I made a flat platform below us and many more below. I compressed the layers together like spring before releasing it in in a second as the last members of that group has already left for 30 seconds. The release of the before compressed layers blew up into the sky. I created a line inside the entrance and pulled us inside. We landed on our toes and swiped it into the floor backward as our torso fall forwards at 60 degrees for a boost of speed as I added two layers of elastic to the base for extra bounce. The wind was fast rushing to my face was it nothing that I have never experimented before. I put a field on my eyes and pushed it to half way for a better focus as we see two monsters standing in the hall ways with their arms pointing towards the entrance while they spoke to each other with weird high to low pitch sounds as their mouth stretches upwards with their tongues fully showing.

I was flying through the air at full speed. My palm reached the face before I knew what hit me. My arm was equipped with layers of compression so it was able to take in more damage. My palm landed square into one of the monster face before stopping, not wanting to hurt them, but it was too late as the upper neck portions detaches completely from the head. I turned my head to see Anna doing a similar thing as the blood would pump out from the neck to my face and body below. I quickly walk back to see Anna slightly enjoying it as she stood still with a smile. I would want to stay still for a while usually, but there was no time to spare.

'Sugi, get your hands moving!'

'I know.'

I walked up to the body and began to steal its clothes as I merely try to imagine it was a doll. I placed a filter to drain out all the blood from the clothes and put it on myself. The costumes were too large for me as I added extra layers around my body to form the shape of the monster I just killed as I put a scan on the body for the cube to copy. I placed another scan on the head to steal the language and cultural details. I set the details into my head as the cube works on the body shape. I put on a layer of elastic onto my face that resembles the monster and got going. We walked and walk for a hundred metres or so to find an intercepting road from the sides where the crawling beast would travel. We made our moves straight to continue with the original path from the entrance to the wall. The beast made a turn after getting to our path, traveling to the entrance, the opposite direction to our travel.

We walked straight for a while, before encountering a spiral yellowish-brown stair case down. We decided to walk down as there was no place to go. Once we entered, the temperature steady rises inside the dark. We walked blindly down the stairs before a flash of light at the end where I blinked and tried to cover over my eyes with my right hand. We stepped down to the last stairs and got out to the area where the light was coming from. It was a desert we were facing as the heat directly lands on the face before I blocked it with the layers. The sky was filled with blue with clouds hovering around. It was an area filled with nothing but mostly sand. In the middle was a city of yellow and brown buildings. The buildings were tall and wide just like the memories of the guard I killed on my way here. A single raised thin brown bricked path linked our platform to the city. I looked back to see we were inside a tower that stretches up above the clouds and sky. The tower was brown bricked without many extra portions compared to the city itself where I remember having curves on each building and road. The center of the city is an arena and behind it holds a mystery building with a giant two side metal door with three large stretches out chunks of stairs with pillars that stretch up to touch the roof in random patterns. Without much to say, we continued onto the raised out walk area to the city as the surrounding sand fly and screams. The wind level was high where we could have easily fallen on our sides if we didn't put elastic gums on our shoes.
