25 Chapter 22- Finding a place to eat

The wind my hair ever so quietly as I let open my eyes. I glared at the top left of the time section.

Time: 11.20

An hour and 40 mins till the school ends. I took a look at m sides, and Sugi was just sitting right next to me very so quietly. I can't really read her mood, but that doesn't matter right now. I stood up.

"Sorry for the wait, let's eat."

"Yea, beginning to get hungry."

[Command: Solidify]

A pair of butterfly wings was pushed out from my back, this time, I generated it as if it was actually birthed from my body. It included realistic muscle tussles, bones and wrapped around a piece of slightly haired skin. Yea, it was gross, but I wanted to see Sugi's reaction from it. And not surprisingly, she was impressed. It had a three-bendable finger-like things at the end with two extra claws for grabbing on the top and bottom of the three fingers. You see the blue bloodlines along with the realistically generated pieces of bonded up muscles under the thin yet elastic skin. Sugi began to touch it.

"It's a good idea; I wonder why I haven't thought of it sooner."

Anna who was facing the front before towards the main island with Sugi behind her now turned her head around. She looked at Sugi with her large open eyes and politely said these words:

"Because it hurt…"

Water began running down her eyes.

Why did you do it in the first place?

"It's like an actual growth of your own body, this way it skips the process of connecting because it's already connected to you and gathers yellow line into your body to start forming."

"So, why do you need to do it? Can't you just use the usual one?"

My question exactly.

"Since the main island has a lot of layers and flying; I thought this would be handy. The growth of this wings, allows the body to adjust itself to it. Therefore, it won't feel heavy nor will it slow you down in walking. It also allows have better control."

Fricking ass pulls from an author to show something new.

Anna continues.

"This is perinate while the other one disappears when out of the controlled area of where we live in."

"Did you got this idea from the face or body changing?"

Anna turned over completely, now facing Sugi.

"Well… Kind of, however, this is on a much smaller scale."

Anna pulses for a second.

"Just like those, this is part of your body, you can feel it, and it will get tired just like our actual body. This is a smaller scale in that it changed very little to the inside of your body. It adds new connection into your bran and pushes up some pre-existing meat to for the wings but, it doesn't change your body structure much, except now you have a bit more even when you're pushing yourself a little forward."

"Anna…"

Sugi paused a little

"Can we get lunch now?"

She placed her two hands on her stomach while standing as she looked over with tilt as her long white hair drifts downwards.

I gave my smile. I'm not going to lie; she was adorable.

"Sure"

I gave my nod as I flew lifted up with two simple flaps towards the ground. Sugi gave her command as well, using a batwing formation, using the same method as always. Though to give credit, it would have been dangerous to try new things in the sky though there's still a save point down there.

The mainland was getting close as he headed towards the start of the dirt road that runs through the town with few smaller that's in halfway. I was almost above on top of the start of the road.

[Command: Disable]

With the previous force I had behind me, I feel forwards. I bent both of my legs with my shoe ready right wrapped around my foot. I was near and nearer as the wings push my hair backward. Closer and closer.

[Command: Solidify]

The base of my shoe turned into a thick, soft material. As the base touches the ground, I had let my legs stand up as the force from the drop was absorbed into the shoe.

[Command: Return]

The base of the shoe was back as Sugi carefully lands softly onto the ground with wings.

-I'm not good at saving energy, am I?

I look forward to seeing the rolls of Edo era shops and building. I look up to see it was two-floor buildings. The first floor is a direct remake of the original ones in the manga with every one of them of what I could tell filled with equipment.

[Command: Search]

I looked at the second layer, and the knowledge cube helped me find the answer I needed. The information regarding my question of 'what is on the second floor' was placed on the left my screen, covering from top to bottom.

[Command: clear 60]

I place the information's clarity to 60 percent as now I could also see what's behind the information. I rolled down the information that was gathered. The second floor is for Gintama related foods and merchandises, including original 2006 video which you can download to your web storage.

The second layer was made with a walking path that connects each shop along with trails rounding on its outer edges. A network of red curved framed bridges links over the top covered over with a layer of clear glass. Few grey staircases lead up to the second floor as part of the second floor was chipped off to make room for the entrance. The stairs starts 2 meters out from the shops with a bit of a slope forwards and up, connecting to the outer parts of the second-floor walkway.

"Food is on the second floor."

"Alright let's do this!"

We both hopped towards the staircase with the entrance pointing away from us. I got there and started to speed through the 25 or so thin and short stairs up to the 3-meter-tall staircase. A roll of houses and stores were located under the second floor's walkway which you can see on your way up. Each of the houses had a pit of their roof tiles stick out and shrink back up and cut off by the second-floor walkway.

Up, up we went and jumped to finish off at the top, arriving at the second floor. I landed on my feet a little after the stairways and took a look as Sugi has already gotten here before me just half a second earlier. I looked around myself, straight forwards and back where it the walkways started. The part where it started was like the half way point, without stairs or thinner like there was another part beyond it. The walkway I was standing on had a line of gem stone green all the way across, 10cm behind the edge. The walkway had a few trees placed very few 20 or so meters, surrounded by dirt with grey stones on the edges of the path way surround it. The places of the tree, the pathway was forced to curve and return with the central or the part that stretches out the most, being most commonly where the bridges are located that connects to the other side walkway's central curved area.

A thought came to me as I touched my stomach.

I was very hungry.

Sugi looked at me.

I look back.

She was holding her stomach too.

"time to find food."

[Command: Search]

A role of restaurants from this island rolled across my left from top bottom, covering over the last list due to me forgetting about it.

Spice, Spice, Spice… it was everywhere.

[Filter]

Spice went.

-No progress.

I remembered a restaurant that the characters used to eat in the earlier episodes. I tried to find it, but it was not here. I looked and looked as both us ran as we passed the second floor of Gintoki's house with a wood ladder doing down on the inside of the walkway. I turned quickly and opened the door and walked into the lounge area with two parallel sofas with the all four of the man character being there. The dog and girl were sleeping one sofa while the main, main male character lied down on the parallel other like a pair of glasses floats in the air. The silvered hair male has his leg pointing this way.

Grab.

Using the tip of my wings with the three finger structures, I grabbed onto his ankle and dragged him out of his house while he faces down on the floor. I got one of his legs, but the other was still kicking as he stretches his arms in front as his fingers grab hold into the ground, creating a deep line in the floor. He had a panic face with his mouth almost becoming rectangle as he desperately tries to grab hold of the ground to pull himself forward.

He took a look back.

His friends annoyed him.

"Heeeelp me!!"

I didn't get what he was panicking about. I did what I normal human being did, walk into the house and grabbed someone out by the leg. Normal right?

I got him the ground on the walkway and placed my hand next to his head.

"Errrrrrr…"

He was looked at Anna's smirk as she drupes down with silver.

Sugi stepped a step back.

"Where's the restaurant that you were eating in when you were with Sougo inside of the Mitsuba Arc?"

Acidic steam seems to roll out of Anna's mouth as she spoke.

"Aaaa…"

"Speeeak!"

Anna raised her tone a little closer to the end..

"Two street… turn a left… on the right second floor."

He took stops as he spoke with a broken and weakened voice.

Anna garbed him again, lifted up… She rolled her eyes back at Sugi, realizing she was there. She was planning to drag him along to check, but plans have changed.

"Umm… I think you're hurting him"

As Sugi spoke those words, Anna began to loosen a little.

"Yea, yea, you should listen to her."

Gintoki said it as he dropped his head towards Sugi with large opened but smelled pimpled eyes as he has water running out of his mouth.

Anna threw him back into the house and closed the door.

'This place is messing with my sanity.'

It must be just Gintama; the addiction was too strong. The environment is messing with me to do it. But was fine, the main character has probably got use it by now.

"let's go."

I put on a smile.

"Alright"

Following the walkway, I got to the first crossway with a tree once again in front of me, creating a loop. This loop is bigger, containing two bridges, one across and one to cross the road underneath to the continue straight. I looked down to the floor on the first floor; a snow statue was made in the middle between the four bridges that connect with each other on the bottom floor. It was the famous statue in Gintama named Neo Armstrong cyclone jet Armstrong canon. It was wonderful statue made from three components; an upwards pointing ice stick with a bit extending at the top end and curve down at the end, and two large snowballs on each side. It's a masterpiece beyond a masterpiece.

After witnessing such masterpiece, I followed Sugi over the bridge over the street below forwards. The area was back to normal again, looking the building below was so nostalgic for the first time I read the first pages of this manga. Time passes, and I was already on the second crossway, passed so many curves without noticing.

I took my left and went on a bridge to travel onto the right side. We walked a little more and stood in front of the restaurant.
