20 Chapter 17- Awaiting at the top of the Giant’s house

Sugi was flying right beside me as I spider maned the last few platforms.

"21…22… 23!!!!"

Sugi counted on the sidelines as I climbed.

She stopped counting I got to the final platform and started to walk up the 50-meter-wide stairs that each is about 40cm long before the next with a high difference of about 15cm each. Semi-transparent green stones fully cover the whole stair case. The use of the green stone is about 15 deep for each staircase, reaching the start of the last staircase with the middle fully hollowed which is on full display that everyone can see. Underneath is a river of water that you can barely see to, through the unclear green stone.

[Command: Disable]

The legs at the back fell off and disappear into the air.

Staring up the stairs and to the traditional concrete and red-tiled top on a slope with the entrance being a rectangle, fitting into the middle of the stairs, I took a breath in. I bend my back backward to take a look at the back sky. I pushed the breath out and swung my back forwards as I took my first step forwards on the first green slap. Sugi disabled her wings and dropped down as we both hop up to the entrance above like two disabled bunnies.

Up and UP it went like two moths following a light source.

"29…30…31…32!!"

Sugi counted the number of stairs as we climbed. 32 and up. It was the last one.

I turned a back and took a look at the skies towards the direction of the stairs we just climbed. It was beautiful, to say the least. The over covering shades and the censor bars from the island above mixed with a loud that people use to escape from the war which mostly has experienced traumatizing pain just creates a wonderful scenery.

We walked through the entrance. It was beautiful and large, almost rivaling Nami's breast in scale… Before the surgery, but now is like three times of that. The place is set up in three layers. The first layer is quite empty, 10m off the ground with strong pillars spreader underneath. The second is the layer of water, with some root coming down from the third layer, coming in at 20m tall, matching the same size as the first layer with the outer layer glass holding it in and supporting up the third layer. The third layer is where most everything is set, matching the same size as the previous layers, with an included; garden, house and whatever. The third layer is for the buildings and the layer that holds the majority of the house. The second layer is the water supply for the plants, while the first layer is just simply lifted the place off the ground to add a better feel.

[You know how when you're not directly touching the floor, like earth dirt, dirt, like standing on a chair, you feel lighter? And when you feel easier to move too? Yea, it's the purpose.]

From the entrance to the base of the house is about 20m away with two stone staircases right in front of me. Each of the stone was 12m wide, with the second touching the third layer and the second half of its height. From our perspective, it was large, larger then I remembered as you can't even see the top of the first stone. There was the distance of 6m separating me and the stone, but I could see the holes and extra sticking out of it clear as glass on the rough grey concrete surface.

I looked at Sugi and took my nod, and she follows. I active my wings and took my flight. I passed the first stone but decided not to go right to the next stone. I stopped using my wings and did a flip down to the surface of the first stone as I landed on the shoes on an angle that shoots me right up. As I reached the two-third point, I began to get slower and have realized I would not be able to make it with a simple jump. The wings bloomed out of me once again as I have the muscle top pointing directing to the top and the rest follows right behind. This lowers the wind resistance as I flew up. Once my original moving force as stopped while I am in the mid of the air as I looked at the top of the third stone. My wings took a flap through the air, dropping dome feathers behind while slowly disappears after. I adjust my wings on a slight angle and bent my torso backwards towards the top of the second platform as my legs follow the curve from the behind, as before I was facing the opposite direction. At this point, I was diving on a 5-degree angle downwards from the general area of the middle of the first stone with a height of slightly higher than the second.

I'm not going to lie, it was scary, and I have no idea why I wanted to do it, perhaps it was just to impress Sugi that flew on the sidelines just watching and waiting for me to get us. I was facing the air as I fell, all I could see the quick falling clouds and the change of the light that slips from the top of my view to the bottom very so suddenly. I couldn't see the ground as I passed, but a mist of blue sky with few clouds that I found distracting for a person in mid-air that's skydiving with magical wings with their view filled with nothing but clouds. I tilled my head back and rolled my head forwards to take a small glimpse of where I wanted to land. I closed my wings and took a turn to have my body at the front. I took another turn to now have my foot pointing towards the ground instead of my head.

[Command: Gum Aura]

I added an aura on my feet. I am in the air, and I am above the second staircase. Due to the strange angle, I have decided to land with, in which, 5 degrees from the sides top, it's quite a peculiar experience. I could feel the air different from the hair on the back as I got closer to the ground, it was an uncomfortable feeling of knowing that you're ever so close to the ground. I flew and flew, closer, closer to the surface. Drop, drop, my aura on my foot scraps on the surface and stops my body completely with my body still on a 5 degrees angle. The ground was very close to the back of the knees. The aura begins to go loose, and my leg attached to the gum began to slip down, just like a real gum.

[Command: Decompose]

The aura on my foot disappeared. I flipped to my side and placed my left arm out with an open palm which the way which the side towards the ground to stop myself from fall.
