17 Chapter 16- Wake up

It was in the middle of an empty desert. Old and lonely with only a small thin broken down three stores building stuck to it. From floor 1 and 2, it's all emptied with nothing but two wood ladders that lead up and down in the middle holes that have been removed. The walls are damaged on each of the floors with the third having the roof completely tiered off along with two connected walls. All is left on the third floor is two connected walls and a boy. The boy laid against the connecting parts of the two loosely straight walls. His eyes finally lifted and opened, taking a look at the outside.

*Bi, BI*

The alarm again, ringing next to me. I opened my eyes and took a look.

"Back again, huh. If only that world were real."

The walls that catch my back felt somewhat comforting, something like a bed as the air between the parts of my back that touches the wall, allows that part of the back to relax. I opened my eyes but quickly shut it. This world is stupid… along with the story if there's one in the beginning.

The floor was covered with a layer of sand with the part nearest to the wall be the thickest, though it was just cleaned last night. The boy was in about his teens. He had an open notebook laying in his laps with a pen lightly beside it with the boy's hand covering it during his sleep, scared it would blow away. His foot was touching the ground as his leg was bent in a stretched-out V shape upwards with his plums laying on top of the lap. His head was dangling down pointing to the knee with his back in an almost C shape.

"I ran out of ideas again. Isn't that ironic, Sugi, Anna?"

Two human scales are displayed near the alarm bell.
