14 Chapter 13: 4 levels of frozen spirits

I rolled off the pink peddle with a yellow center. I stood on the brown floor, looking at the far distance filled with nothing but sweet as if the spirit of the food was already left, and only the physical body remains. I glared at to the left and looked at the circled and twisted silver road where the running race held that is to run around a few places. There're two ways of getting out of here regularly, out the entrance and then through the back to the Vegapunk home. Since I am on the first layer, I can just walk out the entrance.

I took a moment to rest.

"Aaaaa…"

I heard another voice coming from the mouth entrance. It was Sugi falling down and landing on the green jelly. The voice sounded like an angel… That had a horrible voice.

Sugi rolled out the jelly and laid on the flower paddle. She rolled again and out into the ground.

"I guess we're the ones here, Sugi."

"You do know there's a normal method of traveling right?"

"Too crowded, it's better for me this way."

"When is Oda speaking?"

"I believe it's in an hour or so."

We began to walk as we stepped further and further into the first layer.

"We're allowed to do whatever we want here right?"

"I believe so"

The top was covered by the sweat snacks that Luffy has maybe eaten. There were; pudding, breakfast all into one with all their containers of how Sanji originally prepared them. Looking at the towers of food and some tea cups alongside a running tribe of artificial rhinos, Sugi asked.

"What happens at meal time for him?"

"You know, Sugi. Sometimes just simply admiring the beauty of something is better to think about."

"True"

We walked and walked deeper into the hell. We curve at the end of the room to a sparling staircase to the second floor's frozen caldron of the enterally sleeping witch princess. The path is dirt, surrounded by blue lava with another group of the people running on the silver road above the lava that added more to the background. Although lava is usually turned from rocks due to high temperature, this blue lava is the opposite. It's the result of rocks frozen to the point of breaking that turned into something of liquid. Needless to say, it was a cold area. Looking through the lava from near the edge of dirt road, you can almost see a shadow. Inside the manga, this was the island frozen in time. The cold layers of the blue lava froze the historic lands underneath its surface. The land has no people or animals, just a plain town of unknown building and trees that are kept in the same way over thousands of years. The sleeping witch princess is a reference to the beauty of the unchanging time of an old village.

The roof was empty, no light, no object, just a normal stone roof. Two sides of the path filled with nothing but a tinted glow of a wonderful light blue from the lava which came from the leftover light source from the first floor. We walked straight until the curved end on the second level.

The room was empty, empty indeed.

"You ok?"

"I'm fine, Sugi."

"I know you're scared of large open confided space, are you really alright?"

Each word that came out of our mouths rebound off the walls and back to us again and again.

"It's fine; I feel better with someone around me."

"Ok"

Surrounding us are small crystals that are most likely frozen water that sunk into the surface of the walls. It added a bit of shine as if you looked up to see the rare clear stars of the cold night. It was cold, and I was scared with a bit of space gapping Sugi and me as I didn't really want to bring myself to her. I like the times where it's quiet, but sometimes I want to be near people.

I took a look at Sugi that was in front of me slightly. She took a look back.

I moved closer…Closer. It was for real, I got closer, closer to her. She was still looking with her large eyes as her body was still facing forward with just a bit of her head turning backward.

I looked down

"Could I hold your hand? I'm sorry, just feeling a bit lonely."

She gave the nod and turned back to front. I moved to her side and placed my plum on her own. It was cold too.

[Command: warmth]

A field was placed around us as the yellow lines in the air solidifies a little and rub each other on the sides of the field. Friction was created by the movements along with a little heat. The field felt warm and not from just the heat alone. The field seems a lighter yellow as we walked forward to the next level. Sugi was still looking forward and so does I.

Sugi turns her plum a little, fitting to mine. She was always taller than me by a little, and her plum was always a little larger. She long hair was still with barely any movement as she walked. The space around us felt warm, calm and closed off. It was nice; I liked it. Before I knew it, I was looking at her. I looked at her; hair, walking style and slowly up to her face. She was looking at me before we both cut our gaze. We turned away, though I wouldn't have minded it. It was strange, even though I didn't mind, my grip on her hands is wanting to loosen and so does hers. I turned to the front again, before turning back to Sugi to see her still looking at me. I turned back to look at the dirt road and star-like crystals, and this time so did she. Passing through the stoned large gates and a left down a rectangular staircase, walking between the levels of 2 and 3. We were off the second floor with us both holding hands, though that didn't last much longer. I let go of her hand, disabled the field but remained near her.
