JACK POV

I am hearing every word that he is saying but I am not believing the words that are coming out of his mouth. What is he saying about they want me and not Lily? Didn't Frank come to my apartment especially to come and talk to Lily? Why would they want me?

"What are you talking about?"

They look at each other in unbelief and then start to chuckle. Then Frank turns to me and says.

"Do you know who your parents are? Have you met them before?"

They start to laugh uncontrollably and that just irritates me even more. I can not believe that my parents somehow had something to do with this. I thought I was rid of them when I left my hometown. Now it looks like their legacy has followed me home.
