He gives you a weak smile and let go of your hand. He lays his head against the chair and closes his eyes. "Okay, Lilly...only for a little bit...Ahh, that towel feels good."

"Thank you, Jack."

"Mmm...for what?"

"For letting me in.." Your cheeks burn up and you're glad his eyes are closed. You get a bottle of water for him and he drinks from it.

"Should I call Peter and cancel?"

"No, no. I'll be better now, just needed a bit of time to rest. I'll be ready when the meeting starts."

"Are you sure, you just don't look so good?"

"Why, thank you, Lilly. That makes me feel sooo much better." He chuckles a little and lay his head against the chair again.

"No, that's not what I meant."

"I know, I know. I'm just playing with you." He gives a low laugh with his eyes closed. It makes your heart happy to hear him laugh and know that you're the one who caused it.
