The Lau's Adventure

Thomas Lau was never the obedient kid; he always did what he wanted and disobeyed his mother and because of that his little sister Susan who looked up to him followed his examples even though he told her not to. But after this adventure they will obey their mother.

On January 20, Thomas Lau disobeyed his mother and went into the catacombs, when his mother told him "do not go into the catacombs, they are very dangerous". But he went in anyway because he thought he could handle it.

He wore his usual outfit of a t-shirt, shorts, long socks, with his favorite skateboard, and black headband. He was walking through the catacombs when suddenly he saw something on the ground, when he picked it up and screamed as loud as he could.

After about 12 minutes Thomas finally calmed down, he looked around him to notice that the catacombs all around were made of skulls and bones. He started walking through the catacombs looking everywhere when in the distance he saw a figure. 'That sort of looks like Susan, but that can't be she's up with mom' he thought. As he walked closer, he noticed that it was her, just like he last saw her.

As soon as he knew it was her, he ran up to her thinking she must be so scared because she was just standing there. But as soon as he got to her, she said nothing and just grabbed his hand and started guiding him somewhere.

They traveled in silence for about 43 minutes then suddenly Susan just stopped making Thomas bumped into her back. After stabilizing himself he looked at where she led him and noticed it kind of looked like a temple and church combined. Just as he got to look around Susan pulled him to a high standing slate looking thing and made him lay down.

At first, he didn't know what she was doing, she just walked away and then came back, but with an ancient looking knife. Before he knew it, she was at his arms and was trying to cut his wrists. He struggles against her obviously not wanting to get cut.

Suddenly, just as she was about to cut his wrists someone yelled "Big brother!." As soon as he heard it, he knew that the Susan in front of him wasn't his sister. Just as he has the fake Susan knew that it was the real Susan who yelled.

Thomas took advantage of the momentary surprise of the fake Susan and jumped of the high standing slate looking thing on the opposite side of the fake Susan. As quick as he could he ran toward the real Susan and when he reached her he grabbed her hand while running.

As soon as he thought that they were far enough away, they slowed down and eventually stopped to rest. When they caught their breath, they started talking about how to get out and decided to go back to the room because Thomas remembers the way back from there.

It took a while, but they made it back to the temple looking room. As they entered, they noticed that there was a monster in the corner of the room. Suddenly the monster turned around and it turned out to be the fake Susan. Somehow knowing that they knew it wasn't human the monster turned into what they guessed was its original form, Suddenly in the blink of an eye the monster was in front of them and instinctively Thomas not only picked up a sharp-edged skull, but also protectively shielded Susan. In about an instant not only did Thomas have the sharp-edged skull up, but it also had pierced the monster's heart.

By the time they reached the surface it was already sunset. On the way home, the two decided to not tell anyone about what happened, go down there again, and that if either one of them went against their mother the other one would straighten them out and ever sense their adventure in the catacombs they were not only closer, but more obedient.
