Trisha

A girl. It was a girl! A very adorable yet unique girl!

"Uhm, hello?" Shane said in a low voice. Her roommate (assuming she is), just woke up from a nice sleep and Shane wouldn't mind waiting for the girl to gain a clarity in her mind before replying to Shane's call.

"H-hello. Who are you?" She said in a soft voice.

"I-I am your new roommate." Shane doesn't know why is she stuttering but maybe it is because of some oppressive feeling the girl gives off and Shane somehow felt that the chills went through her spines.

"Oh." The girl just yawned after that and stretched a little bit.

"What happened to your eyes?" Shane asked.

"Hmm. Feeding your curiosity," In a snap, the girl's violet and black eyes changed into black on both sides. "-nothing happened."

Shane stared at her with dismay painted in her eyes.

"Okay, as you said so." Shane, after that, climbed onto the double deck slowly and asked, "This must be my bed right? Since you occupied the lower part."

"Hmmn. Yes. Unless you would like to sleep on the floor. That'd be okay too." She replied with a shrug. Tsk. This girl!

"Anyways," still climbing "- what is your name?" Shane asked.

"I am Trisha."

"Just Trisha?"

"Just Trisha."

"No surname?"

"Yes."

"How come?"

"I don't know. I just woke up in a bed remembering only my name- Trisha." Amnesia? Or another kind of sorcery? What causes it?

"Why don't they give you a surname for the meantime?"

"They're scared." Scared of what? Is giving a surname, scary?

"Why?"

"I will show you." She removed a piece of cloth that is wrapping her pointing finger. She, then opened her palm and in that came out a butterfly. She touches it and poof! It disappeared right before Shane's eyes! It was amazing! Such a rare talent err, magic, I guess.

"Aren't you going to ran away like a coward?" She curiously asked, facing up, while me, facing down.

"Why would I? Tell me, where would that butterfly go?"

"In my own dimension."

"In your- What?!"

"I said, in my own Dimension."

"Wow. That was cool! That would be a blast if we'd go there!" Shane cheerfully said.

"I am afraid you can't." Popping the party out, Trisha replied.

Surprised with the reply, Shane exclaimed with her saying, "Say what?! Why?"

"If you go in, there is no assurance that you can get out." Trisha, with a poker face, said.

"Hmm. 'Kay. By the way, I haven't formally introduced myself; I am Shane Chase, nice to meet you, Trisha!" Shane, as she usually was, started to introduce herself to Trisha.

"Chase? Sounds familiar."

"Hmm. Familiar? Drop that thought. There is no way it could be familiar to you." Shane defensively said.

She just shrugs and formed a grin on her lips. "There is no way in hell I'd drop that. You seemed tense, by the way."

"Am I? Or is it you that is getting a senseless hunch?" The words she's saying is true. Shane was tensed, but not anymore. She doesn't know but she isn't that comfortable when opening herself up when they just met and get acquainted with.

"Anyways," changing the topic, "- would you like to tour me around? I am not familiar with other buildings except our dorm and the HM's office." Shane proposed to Trisha.

"I see. Maybe next time. I am a little bit busy." She replied.

"Doesn't seem like you're busy at all. Wait. How come you never get surprised on the scene where I am stepping inside this room?" Curiously, Shane asked Trisha..

"Simply, because I already sensed your presence. Yours is too strong and... Powerful. You didn't try to conceal your aura. It is too humongous, by the way." Maintaining a calm façade, Shane let out a questioning look to Trisha. Although she doesn't know what happened and why did it happened, she'd just go with the flow.

"Thanks for the information! Hmn. Let me try it." Trying to conceal the aura is a bit tricky. You see, as you grew more powerful, concealing something big is so damn hard! Like if there's a big lump on your cheeks, what would you do? You would try to hide it right? Or maybe, if that lump is actually a food you are eating, you'll try to swallow it, correct? May it be whole or processed into chunks already?

Slowly but surely, Shane finally concealed her aura that was leaking out.

A few minutes later,

"Done." she smiled.

"Good for you. But be fast on concealing next time. Enemies are hunting something more powerful and those they hunt were the big catch these days. And I am taking a guess that you'll be their next prey." She warned me. Processing what she just has said, Shane let out a sigh and somehow felt relieved that she first met Trisha.

"Anyway, I will just get back to sleep, okay? Here, you take this map," she handed out the map to me. "Tour yourself first, I am tired." She yawned and then tried to pull over the comforter onto her lower waist.

Taking it, "Thanks. I will just go out okay? Let's have a dinner after this." Shane said.

"As you wish. Now go!" She said it while gesturing that Shane should go out.

Climbing down, she nearly tripped. Luckily, her reflexes were fast and she was able to maintain her balance and was able to set her foot to the ground.

Thinking of what happened on a certain year, she reminisced.

"Don't get caught, Shane. There'd be no one to save you, after that."

Of course, she will.

Shane regained her thoughts and after that, she mentally smiled.

Thank you.
