Chapter 12

Trevor Anthony & Rose

Sunlight Town

Location: Parking lot

7:33 PM

June 26th, 2025

"Rose?" Anthony says, confused. "Anthony?" Rose says back. "What are you doing on Trevor?" Anthony says. "Um, I can explain." Rose says "Get off." Says Anthony. Anthony then takes out his cheeto launcher and shoots it at Trevor. Trevor wakes up, with a face full of hot cheeto powder. "What the hell man?" Trevor says. "Well, you were blacked out." Anthony said. "May I do it again-" Anthony gets cut off. "NO." Trevor says with a mean look on his face "Okay chill man." Anthony says putting away the cheeto launcher. Trevor goes to a gutter and rips it open with this wrist blade. Trevor then uses the water left in the gutter to clean off the cheeto powder from his face. "So, why were you on Trevor, Rose?" Anthony says with a suspicious look. "So, I was running and I bumped into him." Rose says with a smile on her face. "Sure." Anthony says with an overdose of sarcasm. "What's with the mean sure?" Rose says. "Well, Anthony li-" Trevor gets cut off. "Sooooo, what do you wanna do?" Anthony says with his hand on Trevors mouth. Trevor takes Anthonys hand off of his mouth "Jeez you really do want to keep that a secret." Trevor says. "What secret?" Rose says. "NOTHING!" Anthony says with a humongous smile. "Okay…" Rose says with suspicion. "But anyway, what do you wanna though?" Rose says. "Head back to the comic book store bunker?" Anthony says. "Sure." Trevor replies.

We all walk to the comic book store. "I'm surprised to see you idiots are still alive." Rose says. "We are not idiots." Trevor said. "Yeah, what he said." Anthony says. "Oh yeah? Prove it." Rose replies with a firm glare. We hear the zombie hoard that Rose was running from. "Welp, we'll prove it now." Trevor and Anthony say together. They both run at the hoard. They get back to back, "Ready buddy?" Trevor says, Anthony pulls out his ice axes. "Ready" Anthony replies. Trevor activates his wrist blade and slashes a zombie's head off. Then pull out his bat and swiftly slices zombie's left and right. Anthony takes a step forward, holding his ice axes in a t-pose. Then Anthony starts spinning around, killing a bunch of zombies. Anthony starts to get dizzy and breaks form. A zombie is about to maul Anthony, "Anthony! Duck!" Says Trevor. Trevor then winds up his wrist blade and has it to the point where it's at his right side, like a katana. Trevor sprints at the zombie and whips out his wrist blade at the last second, slicing the zombies head clean off. Anthony stands back up. "Thanks for the assist." Anthony says. We both kill off the whole hoard, "Is that enough proving for you?" Trevor and Anthony say to Rose. "Yep." Rose says with her eyes wide open.

We both keep on walking, "What do you guys wanna do when we get to the comic book store?" Trevor said. "I have no clue." Anthony and Rose say. "There it is." Trevor points out. Anthony gets out the key and swings open the door. "It's a ruckus up here, but down under it's better." Trevor says, We all squeeze behind the shelf and walk into the bunker. "This is where the fun is." A PS4 lies on the floor, plus two gold anti-slip controllers. Two sleeping bags are on the floor, Anthony's lab table is on the right and Trevor's smithing table is on the left. Then the final table, that holds our food, water, gear, and the radio scanner. "We're pretty cool guys." Trevor says with a smile on his face "But, where will I sleep?" Rose said. "We will have to work on that." Anthony replies. Trevor checks his watch, "Oh no, we have to make that quick, before it's pitch black." Trevor says "What's the big deal about going out in the night?" Rose and Anthony say. "I remember, one night, I heard some screeching outside, I checked it with the little peek hole in our door, and I saw them. The Night Lurkers." Trevor said. "What is a Night Lurker?" Says Rose. "They are the most scary, deadly, and brutal zombies of all time. I saw them completely thrash a survivor with ease." Trevor replies "Well, looks light were going on an overnight trip, but we gotta make it quick" Anthony says. Anthony turns to the dresser that was in the underground hideout, and grabs a pair of black pants, a partly black grey shirt, and a black facemask. "We should just sleep until morning. Rose, I'm sorry but you're gonna have to sleep on the hard rough floor." Trevor says. "But, what about the- "I said, until morning." Trevor says. Trevor then gets punched in the temple and flops to the ground, completely knocked out. "Rose! Why did you do that!" Anthony yells. "Because he said I would have to sleep on the rough floor and I don't want that." Rose replies. Anthony brushes his shoulder off. "Ugh, fine, take some spare clothes" Anthony says, tossing clothes like his over to Rose. Rose catches the clothes and puts them on. "Alright let's go" Rose says. "Okay, but when we get the sleeping bag, we're going right back here" Anthony says. "Deal, let's go" Rose says.
