6 Awakened

For a moment she too was blinded by flashing light but she knew she must act quickly. With the monster inches away from her head and momentarily blind, she steadied her hands and with all her might struck the rod in her hands onto its eye socket.

It growled so loud that it echoed inside the very spacious room.

Gizelle wasted no time and quickly dragged herself near the switch of the rod. As she force herself towards the location of the switch, the monster noticed her and crawled itself onto the ceiling far away from the beaming light. As Gizelle reach for the lever, the thing got a hold of her hair and forcefully pulled her up, inches away from the ground. She was then greeted by the creature's grotesque physique. She closed her eyes from the excruciating pain of being grabbed by her hair. She feels as if her scalp is getting extracted.

The monster once again let out a loud growl this time right in front of her face.

Harry crept silently inside the room and saw a second rod near the table. Grabbing it by his hands, he moved near the back of the creature and stab it near his spine.

The creature growled in pain and let go of Gizelle.

She fell on the ground still in pain. She touched her scalped checking if her hair is still intact. Harry shouted at her and motioned her to start it.

She wasted no time and reached for the lever. The rod lit up, sending jolts of eletricity into the creatures body.

Gizelle and Harry crawled to each other as they watch the creature being roasted alive in front of them

The machine exploded a loud blast. Both of them shouted in shock.

The creature fell on the ground.

Harry walked near the creature to see if it's still alive. He kicked its side to see it would respond but there was none. He turned his back onto it and looked at Gizelle.

"We killed it Gizelle!!!" he shouted

Gizelle's eyes widened as he noticed a flail movement from the creature, it was holding in its hand the rod that a while ago was stuck in its eye.

"Harry!!!"

Before Harry could even react, the creature already swung its hand and hit Harry at his back. He fell on the ground.

Gizelle looked around to scan for any items she could use and found a metal tube near her. She quickly grabbed it and rushed to the creature aiming for its head. She swung her hands forcefully and hit the creature several times on its head. She was hitting it very hard that its head was almost crushed into a pulp. When she was sure she did enough, she grabbed the almost unconscious friend and dragged him outside the room.

As they make her way back into the dormitory, a pair of eyes watched them from the dark.
