Sleep is for the Overpowered

[Author's note: lol I didn't realize you guys liked Alexandria that much.

I wrote this going off purely on Red Bull, umma go crash.

(Alexandria POV)

Apparently the suit does indeed come in black, all that was needed was for me to specify what I wanted to be changed to Kelex(a robot who I got introduced too by Jor-El after our talk as some sort of helper/servant who helps around the fortress, and is now my secondary teacher right after Jor-El in everything about Krypton), and I was all set.

My new suit was the same except instead of being blue, it was now black, and with the glowing parts of the suit now being red instead, the cape stayed red however since a Superman or I guess in my case Superwomen without a red cape isn't a Superman in my book.

Something that actually surprised me was that my suit can actually be stored in a ring, like how the Flash and Reverse-Flash suits, but instead of being super obvious like their's are, I opted out from having my symbol on it, instead it was an unassuming black ring, placed on my right pinky finger.

All I needed was to turn the ring in a certain specific way and my suit would pop out. Which was super convenient.

Right now I was in my bedroom under the covers of my bed about to sleep, when suddenly my Nokia phone(which I really need to change soon I feel like a grandma) rang in its signature ring tone indicating that someone was calling me.

I knew immediately who it was since the only people that had my phone number were Martha and Edythe since we exchanged numbers on our 'date', but technically not a 'date', but also technically a 'date'.

Alexandria the previous one that is, didn't really have any friends, unlike the Smallville counterpart she didn't have Peter or Chole as friends. And since she wasn't a lesbian before I took over her body, she was never interested in Lana, and Lex Luthor didn't exist here so she wasn't 'friends' with him like Clark was in Smallville.

Thankfully she didn't lose her virginity to a guy otherwise I would have probably killed myself, and considering that I'm basically unkillable it would have been quite the feat to pull off.

Finally deciding that I waited long enough I answered the call and put the phone next to my ear.

"Hello?" I asked a little grumpy since it was 12 Am and while I wasn't tired in way whatsoever I did want to sleep.

I heard some shuffling from the other side like people were talking in the background, I could have found out what they are talking about easily enough If I wanted, but I was limiting my hearing range and I was too lazy and didn't care enough to listen on what other people are saying, especially if it isn't life-threatening no matter how impossible that is when it concerns me.

"Ummm Hi Alexandria! This is Edythe, umm I was wondering if you would like to come with me tomorrow for a hiking trip, just you and me" Edythe said sounding incredibly nervous before I heard more shuffling from the other side of the phone

Honestly, at this point, you could have told me to give you all my money and I would do so. Just so you can leave me alone to sleep, that or I would have folded your body in half.

"Sure, come pick me up at 8, bye," I said before hanging up, wanting to sleep and not caring that I was being rude. Honestly, you could be God himself and I would still cuss the shit out of you, Edythe is just lucky that I'm starting to get fond of her, otherwise I would have roasted her ass.

Don't interpret my sleep under any circumstances.

(Edythe POV)

(Right after being hunged up by a cranky Alexandria)

Putting down the phone on the table with shaking hands, I couldn't believe I just did that.

I just called my mate on my own and asked her to hang out tomorrow.

"Don't lie Eythe we had to coach you throughout the whole call" My glittering twinking ass of a brother said.

"I heard that!"

'I know' I said in my thoughts knowing my brother heard me, and not caring.

Yeah, I glitter in the sun too, but I am a girl. Imagine seeing a vampire (who is a guy) coming at you twinkling like a disco ball threatening you that they would suck your blood, you expect to take them seriously?

"You're being sexist Edythe! And I don't twinkle like a disco ball." Guess who said that?

"Yeah sure buddy whatever you say tinker bell."

"Cranky today wasn't she?" Alice said referring to Alexandria's behavior ignoring me basically bully me, brother, into submission,.

She heard me and Alexandria during the call, same with the rest of the family.

Since 1. We all were sitting in the living room 2. Vampires are super nosey fuckers 3. Super hearing.

Plus they (Rosalie) was helping me throughout the call, the rest were just there, with Alice being annoying, Edward being his usual constipated self("I feel like you hate me?"), Jasper just being kinda there, Emmett being his usual idiotic macho self, and Carlisle and Esme were on a date thus they weren't here.

"Maybe she's on her period? Humans still do that I think?" Emmett being Emmett said idiotically.

Sighing Rosalie from where she was sitting on the couch next to him hit him on his head.

"Use your brain you gorilla, it's 12 Am, unlike us humans need to sleep, of course, she was cranky, I told you to wait until tomorrow Edythe, but you were too impatient" Rosalie said sighing at her mate's idiocy, and turning towards me in the end.

Looking down I played with my hair, knowing she was right, but I couldn't help myself.

After our 'date', but not a 'date', but technically a 'date', all I wanted to do was be with Alexandria, and when I got the idea that I should maybe call her and ask if she wanted to hang out tomorrow I couldn't stop myself.

"Yeah, you're right I should apologize tomorrow," I said looking down.

Changing the subject from my mate even though I could talk about her all day, every day since I didn't want to think about it if Alexandria was mad at me or not for calling her at such a late hour, but planning to apologize to her anyway. I turned to my brother and asked.

"So you met your blood singer today?"
