54 THE HATRED 3 HOW COULD I SOLVE THIS PUZZLE

"Water...." Charlie heard her asking in a very feeble and tired voice.

He sat near her and poured water to her mouth using a spoon. He felt she

won't be able to suck the straw. She was that weak.

She again fell asleep.

Charlie was thinking deep on how to solve this issue. He was actually fed

up with revenge stuff and all. Deep in his heart he is craving for peace.

But actually he is the main reason for all these and he is well aware of

this. He was confident that if he explained all these, Fred with accept

him. But no idea how the ladies, Lea and Joan would react.

However, he decided to meet Fred. He was at the same time afraid what will

happen if Joan came to know about it. According to her psychologist, she

is at the verge of mental depression. He somehow want to save her from

this too. Time to act. The sooner the better.

He took his phone and dialed Fred.

At SM International Corporate Office.

Fred was sitting amidst a lot of documents. Since Lea is unwell, he has to

take up that too.

His phone rang. He checked the screen and felt a bit disturbed on seeing

the name. He kept it there without answering.

It keep on ringing for three more times and he attended it then.

"Hello" his voice was cold.

"Hello Fred" Charlie was searching for words to communicate with Fred.

Fred felt something wrong with his call. He was unable to find out whether

he wants to talk in a friendly way or to play some trick on him.

When he heard nothing more from the other side, he hung up the phone.

Five minutes after he again received a call from Charlie.

Fred is now decided to talk to him.

"Tell me Charlie what is going on."

There was some peace in his voice which made Charlie a bit comfortable.

"Fred, I want to talk to you and your wife. Of course I was your enemy but

I don't want this enmity to continue any more. I am fed up with this

f**k. If I keep on doing this, of course Joan will end up in a

depression. I am afraid. I want to talk to you. I know what all things

have happened, we cannot correct but we need to solve. I am ready for

anything. But don't anymore treat me as an enemy. I need your support to

bring her back. This will be good for peace in the kith and kin. "

Fred remained silent. He was wondering what the new trap is. But

Charlie's words were in a sad tone.

"Ok. Let me see. I will inform you."

Fred did not understand the real motive. But he should be cautious. But he wished a peaceful life. They were all fed up with irritations. Of course he does not want Joan to be a patient. Earlier this was not the case. He tried to love her but failed. He never felt that feeling that he had towards Lea, when he was with Joan. He was like talking politely to a distant relative with respect. He was not able to think her as his own. At the same time when he came to know that she hide all the mails that Micheal sent to the family requesting help, anger was the only feeling he had towards her. His eyes were red and he cried on that day. Whatever happened, however he cheated Fred, Micheal is his twin brother, he felt an emptiness in some way when he married Lea and left the family.
