She woke up in the morning and meditated a few minutes. She felt secured from yesterdays incident. Not to lose any chance. Leah won't lose any more chances.

She reached office after Hanna left to school. Her colleagues noticed her cheerful face and it somewhat resembled a girl in love. Leah was not at all bothered about their gaze. She went to her seat. Her colleague came and reminded her regarding the function they have today. It is the farewell party of a senior officer and his friends are also participating in it. They all need to attend the function.

He phoned someone and told he met Leah and she is working as a clerk in his friend's office. He was instructed to find out her residing place.

The meeting went on smoothly and in the midst there were some games going on for staffs. Someone asked her to sing a song. She was sitting in a corner as if she is not a part of it. She refused at first. Then remembered Michael's words and she stood up.

Not only the staffs but those gathered in a meeting room near there heard her singing and came out...Among them was the famous musician JK and her brother in law Fred.

They felt the sadness in her voice. Fred could clearly sense she is singing it for his brother. Thinking about the past, his eyes become teary but tried his best to hide his tears. Leah noticed this. She wondered if these are tears of Repentance.

The song ended with a loud applause. JK came forward and enquired her about herself and appreciated her singing. Just the moment she was going to tell JK her address, Fred interrupted saying "She is Mrs Michale and my family"

Leah stood speechless. She never ever thought those who hated her most and hurt her would ever accept her in such a public place.

JK turned to Fred," Boy, will he let her sing my upcoming album?"

This was another shock for Leah.
