22 Slytherin vs Gryffindor
Few hours later, after the Interview with Harry Potter and Anthony Lefrancois Dumbledore, Rita Skeeter met Randolph Spudmore on the spectator seat at the Quidditch Pitch of Hogwarts.
Randolph Spudmore was sitting next to Anthony Lefrancois Dumbledore and a blonde Slytherin student and had a delighted expression.
"Anthony, how was the interview?" asked Randolph.
"Smooth, but depends on the actual article" said Anthony with a cunning smile.
Rita Skeeter who heard Anthony's comment become alerted on why Anthony was smiling cunningly.
"Rita, if you post a satisfactory article for Anthony, I will give additional 5000 galleons to you" said Randolph with a casual manner.
Rita who heard 5000 galleons which is her 10 month's of salary become agitated and said "Yes, of course, I will write an excellent article about Anthony, complimenting him and denouncing Albus Dumbledore for there are actual facts and numerous witnesses."
Daphne Greengrass who was sitting next to Anthony overheard the conversation and become aware of Anthony's influence over the media.
She looked at Anthony with a curious face as if she is wondering what is Anthony's true capability.
Anthony noticed Daphne's curious gaze and said to her "Daphne, the game is about to start! Let's cheer!" and shouted "Slytherin! Slytherin!"
Daphne forgot the previous thought and shouted "Slytherin!" along with Anthony with a happy smile on her face.
Randolph Spudmore noticed Anthony's different gaze when seeing Daphne Greengrass and chuckled inwardly.
In the Quidditch players' clothes changing room, Harry Potter was nervous whether he is able to catch the Golden Snitch.
Marcus Flint came in front of his team members and took out seven bottles of Lightning beverage. "Drink the Lightning beverage! Anthony and Harry Potter has donated us Fourteen bottles. One bottle now, and one after the match! Since the Lightning beverage has stopped it's distribution in Hogwarts, Oliver Woods shouldn't be able to find them. We should have comparative advantage over the Gryffindors!" said Marcus with a smile.
The Slytherin team members said "Thanks Harry!" to Harry Potter and gulped down the Lightning Beverage. Since Lightning Beverage is a patented under refreshment beverage just like Energy drink in the muggle world, the Quidditch committee did not ban the usage of Lightning Beverage yet. The usage of Felix Felices the Liquid Good luck and other potent potions are prohibited for any Quidditch game. But Lightning Beverage? It only increases the stamina and focus of the drinker and refreshes the body. It is a recommended drink for Quidditch players to drink before a game!
The Slytherin team members lined and flew off towards the Quidditch Pitch one by one. Harry Potter was the last to fly off.
"Welcome to the first Quidditch match of the Hogwarts Quidditch cup season! This is Lee Jordan! Your announcer. The first match is Slytherin versus Gryffindor"
Thousand of spectators were screaming, holding the banner of their respective houses. Hogwarts' Board of Governors, Hogwarts Alumni came here to spectate the came.
Draco Malfoy who is a fan of Quidditch could be heard screaming "Slytherin" among the Slytherin spectator seats.
Harry Potter flew around the Quidditch pitch and saw Anthony sitting next to an adult man and Daphne Greengrass and waved to them.
Soon the Quidditch players are lined in an orderly manner.
Madam Hooch underneath the players opened the box that contains the Quaffle, Bludgers and the Golden Snitch.
"Remember the Golden snitch gives 150 points, the seeker catches the Golden Snitch and the game will end" said Lee Jordan announcing from the tower.
The Golden Snitch flew of and flied in front of Harry Potter the Slytherin team Seeker and Alicia Spinnet the Gryffindor team Seeker.
"I want a fair play!" said Madam Hooch, looking towards the players and opened the Bludgers and throw the Quaffle on the air.
"The Quaffle is released, and the game starts!" announced Lee Jordan.
Angelina Johnson, the Gryffindor team chaser took the Quaffle and made a zig-zag motion, passing two Slytherin team chasers Adrian Pucey and Cassius Warrington. And flew to the Slytherin team ring which Miles Bletchley is keeping.
Angelina Johnson throw the Quaffle but Miles Bletchey who drank the Lightning drink got his nerve refreshed and blocked the Quaffle by his end of the broom.
"Oh, unfortunately the Slytherin defended the goal! Miles Bletchley is keeping the post well!" Announced Lee Jordan and got a stern gaze from Professor McGonnagall.
"Jordan, have a neutral tone!" said Professor McGonnagall in a stern voice.
Marcus Flint took the Quaffle and did a counter attack. He passed through Fred and George Weasley the two Gryffindor team Beaters and neared the post.
Marcus Flint passed the Quaffle to Adrian Pucey and Adrian Pucey throw the ball to the Gryffindor team ring.
Olliver Woods the experienced goalkeeper blocked the Quaffle as well and passed it to Bella Thorn a chaser of the Gryffindor Team.
Marcus Flint who made an eyecontact with Olliver Woods flied towards Terrence Higgs and instructed to beat Olliver Woods.
A few moments later, Terrence saw a Bludger coming to him and using the bat, he beat the Bludger towards Olliver with all his might!
Olliver Woods who has just blocked another Quaffle from Marcus Flint got his posture and winked at Marcus but was hit by the Bludger from Terrence fell down on the soft sand unconscious.
The Gryffindor fans who saw Olliver Woods falling down was saying boo! But the rules of Quidditch doesn't forbit the beater to direct Bludger to a keeper. Attempted decapitation of a keeper with a broadsword is a valid foul!
"Slytherin has beat down Olliver Woods!" announced Lee Jordan.
At this moment, Harry Potter saw a golden glimpse and started to rush towards the Golden Snitch, Alicia Spinnet the Gryffindor team seeker has a Nimbus 2000 broom, that was bought by the raised fund of Gryffindor house students after repetitive persuation of Olliver Woods.
If Olliver Woods was still conscious, perhaps he would vomit by blood after seeing that Harry Potter's broom is not Nimbus 2000, instead the newest state of art broom FIREBOLT! He spent all his money to buy a Nimbus 2000 for Alicia Spinnet in order to fill the gap between Harry's broom and Alicia's Comet 260. (A/N: Better him lay down on the sand dreaming about holding the Quidditch cup)
"Harry Potter has seen the Golden snitch, wait, Harry Potter is riding a state of art, the newest FIREBOLT by the Firebolt Company! It is a broom that has non slipping charm, unbreakable charm, cushion charm and the fastest broom in the world!" announced Lee Jordan and the Slytherin spectators become super excited shouting "Slytherin! Slytherin"
On the other hand, the Gryffindor students has become pale as if gulped down a fly.
When Olliver Woods is not active, the Slytherin has pointed 10 points to the goaling ring.
"Slytherin, has scored 10 points!" announced Lee Jordan.
At the booth of Professor Snape, the Defence against dark arts teacher Professor Quirrell attempted to jinx Harry Potter's broom. But to no avail, the Firebolt number 0001 has additional anti-jinx hex charm that prevents even powerful curses such as Reducto!
Anthony had a binocular and was observing Quirrell. He smiled and become satisfied after seeing Quirrell's bulging eyes in order to attempt jinx Harry's broom.
"Slytherin team has scored again. 20 to 0" Announced Lee Jordan again.
Alicia Spinnet the Gryffindor seeker tried her best to chase Harry Potter and the Golden Snitch, but to no avail, Nimbus 2000's highest speed is 115mp/h but Harry's riding Firebolt's highest speed is 155mp/h so even though Alicia's using the Nimbus 2000 at the maximum, she couldn't reach near to Harry Potter.
Soon Harry Potter got off his both hands from the broom utilizing 'No hands' technique learnt from Marcus Flinch and grabbed the Golden Snitch!
"Harry Potter has catched the Golden Snitch! Slytherin has won by 170 to 0 points.!" said Lee Jordan in a depressed manner.
Harry got off from his broom and raised the Golden Snitch on his hand. The Slytherin team members circled Harry Potter and shouted "Harry! Harry!..."
