18 Chapter 18: Shi Fan's Stepsister 2

After not finding any stores which sell Emperor watches he finally left the shopping district and headed for home. He hailed a levitating cab near the entrance not caring what his sister just said.

A levitating cab stopped near him and as he went inside he ordered to take him home to his home address. What's amazing about this is that there is actually no driver and it's just a robot following orders. Self Driving cars have started in the 21st century however their implementation was delayed for about 70 years due to safety measures. Now self-driving cars are very common to avoid accidents on the road because all of them are interconnected on one system which predicts the route other vehicles will take.

While Shi Fan is chilling inside the cab his phone rang again, however, this time it is a government number which called him. Law states that when a government number called a person and they refused to accept it they will be punished with appropriate measures because the human population is so many and very separated that they need to observe each individual to avoid catastrophic events like nuclear attacks.

"Hello?" Shi Fan answered flatly.

"Yes, is this Mr. Shi Fan of the Xenovia Planet?" an old voice can be heard on the other side. The background noise, however, is a little too loud it seems he is near a factory.

"Yes, that's my name how may I help you?" Shi Fan curiously asked.

"Oh good then. Do you have a younger sister named Shi Jieun? the caller said flatly. Shi Jieun is the name of Shi Fan's sister. At his young age when his mother remarried Shi Fan inherited his Stepfather's name for government purposes and he continued on using it when he transferred to Xenovia Planet.

"Yes I have, she is my step sister. I forgot to ask but what's the purpose of this call?" Shi Fan said

"Oh, right I almost forgot my name is Takashi Minako, an officer for the Xenovia Spaceport Authority. Your sister, Shi Jieun is currently being detained." Takashi said.

"For what reason?" seeing as his stepsister is involved he couldn't help but become concerned.

"Loitering," Takashi replied.

"Pardon? Did you just say loitering? Why?" Shi Fan's mind almost turned black. They detained her stepsister for loitering?.

"Yes but this is no ordinary loitering." Takashi corrected.

"What do you mean?" Shi Fan curiously asked.

"She loitered at the launch pad. It just caused the delay of a launch affecting almost 6500 passengers." Takashi one by one emphasizes his words.

After hearing the call it's as if his understanding of the world upside down and at that moment Shi Fan wished that he can strange his stepsister right now. Loitering is very common in every planet spaceport because some people are waiting for their relatives or friends to pick them up. Due to this spaceport authority allowed the temporary stay of passengers inside the area. However, there is one area they are not allowed to even if the world actually turned upside down. And that is the spaceship's launch pad. As it is a very sensitive area due to the stringent decontamination process non-authorized personnel are not allowed to loiter at the launch pad doing so would result in criminal offenses if proven that they intended on doing it.

"That blockhead sister of mine just causes trouble everywhere. Wait for a while I'm on my way." with that he ended the call. Then he called upfront. "Taxi take me to Xenovia Spaceport please." The taxi without giving him a single response turned around and sped towards the direction of the spaceport.

After 16 minutes of travel, Shi Fan arrived at a majestic building covered with solar ray panels. He swiped his card at the taxi counter to pay for the fare. He immediately rushed outside and headed for the detention center of the port.

When he arrived at the entrance Shi Fan is looking strangely at the semi-transparent glass. The people inside despite having an accident earlier are actually joyously laughing. He knocked on the door twice and opened it. There are 4 people sitting with their backs behind Shi Fan and currently surrounding a female lady.

"You see my brother one time at night when he was still 6 years old he also loitered around and he almost cried after stepping on a branch he thought that he killed an animal or something as he heard something snap. He was crying so hard that almost no one slept that night" the petite lady talked then he laughed.

"Woah hahaha that's hilarious. So did he knew?" one of the people dressed in a blue uniform asked.

"Of course it was so hilarious that he pretended that father swapped it." He couldn't hide his embarrassment that day he didn't once go out on his room." the petite lady replied and the five of them continued laughing.

"SHI JIEUN!" a loud voice came from behind. Of course, it's Shi Fan.

The four of them turned around and they see a young man that is so angry his face turned red.

"Everyone meet my brother this is Shi Fan. Brother, meet my new friends." the Shi Jieun introduced Shi Fan to everyone not caring a little about the emotions of his brother.

"Woah, you're blood relatives?" one of the individuals exclaimed after comparing the both of them. Since birth, Shi Fan and Shi Jieun were always together so they were always compared to each other. Shi Fan was an athletic type individual in his younger teens while Shi Jieun was so intelligent his brother was nowhere near. Shi Jieun was said to be a refined young lady according to many people. She has natural lavender-colored hair which she inherited from her paternal grandmother. While Shi Fan's hair was slightly grayed however he dyed it to black when he arrived at Xenovia Planet.

The both of them shared the aqua-colored eyes of their mother what was the most amazing aspect of Shi Jieun is her smile is said to be the most beautiful smile at their school back them one also funny fact is that it almost caused a small accident because a biker got distracted on Shi Jieun's smile while she is talking with her friends. Adding to her fame is her cute angelic face that can also be said topple down countries. At the tender age of 15, she had already countless rich suitors and most of them thought that Shi Jieun was an expert in having a relationship but only Shi Fan knew besides their parents that Shi Jieun, actually didn't actually have a single boyfriend in her life up to this day. After not seeing for almost a decade Shi Jieun in Shi Fan's eyes finally bloomed into an amazing lady like her mother back in her heyday. Shi Fan couldn't help but remember the lady he met back then when he started the game as they are comparable in terms of beauty and amazing figure.
