55 Visitors!

~Spring Meadow Mansion~

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Nana Aida just finished eating her dinner awhile ago. She was clearing the table and preparing to bring the dishes to the kitchen sink to wash them clean when she heard the main door of the mansion being opened.
Does she have a visitor? Whom could it be? Maybe it's Jessy, Adam or the Queen?
It should be a vampire visitor for sure because these creatures have yet to develop the habit of knocking doors, she mused.
When she went into the living room to see who was the visitor, she found no other than the Queen of Vampires herself sitting comfortably on the sofa.
"My Queen! Nice to see you again!" Nana Aida greeted her cheerfully.
Margaret~The Queen~flashes her sweetest smile at Nana Aida.
"Where is he? He is alive isn't he?" the Queen asked excitedly. She knew that his son is alive because her heart can detect the beating of his son's heart even miles away.
She must be asking about Adam, Nana Aida told herself. She was torn between telling a lie or telling her the truth.
The Queen must have seen Aida's confusion because she looked at her frowning.
"Does my son told you not to tell anyone that he is alive?"
Nana Aida nodded. Adam's intention was to disappear from his family's clutch and influence and live a brand new life in the city. He was ready to leave everything behind including Jessy the woman he loves.
The Queen sighed. "Fine. I will find him myself. But I can save more time if you tell me where did Adam go...Aida-?"
Nana Aida can no longer hide the truth.
"He went into the city. I don't know where he was staying in the city. He only got small money with him. I give him the pouch of gold you gave me but he refused it. Am worried that at this moment he no longer have any money left to buy for his foods and other basic necessities."
The Queen shook her head.
"Does not matter, I will find him soon. He is my son after all."
"But My Queen, you might not be able to find him easily because he already got a new look. His appearance is not the same as before. He totally became a new person, and not only that, he transformed into a human being. His fangs gone," said Nana Aida.
The Queen's face brightened up. "That's good! Finally, my son was freed from the curse, this is Fantastic! Tell me more, Aida!"
Nana Aida paused for a second. "Hmm, he still retained his power and probably he's much more powerful than before. Just my assumption, not sure though..."
The Queen was ecstatic upon hearing all the good news. "So, he's the one! I didn't expect it, anyway, I will try to find him myself."
Margaret hugged Aida in a euphoric manner. "I have to go, 'till we meet again, Aida. And please don't tell anybody Adam is alive, even Jessy, okay?"
Nana Aida nodded. "Yes, my Queen."
She accompanied the Queen outside the mansion, soon enough the moment the Queen's feet touches the ground of the mansion she vanished into the darkness of the night.
Nana Aida already locked the kitchen door and window and she sauntered towards the main door to locked it too since she's going to sleep a few minutes from now. It's already 10:00 o'clock in the evening, bedtime for her. She was yawning when the door suddenly opened in front of her...
"Nana Aida! I miss you!" Jessy broke into the living room and hugged the older woman tightly.
"I miss you too my child!" exclaimed Nana Aida. "Your parents, how are they?" she said.
"They are good," she answered.
"How about you? How's your new life in the Facility? Did you get along well with Prince Zain?"
Jess' face turned dark. "Let's not talk about that jerk, Nana."
"Okay."
"Am here to check on you, then visit Adam and my rose garden. Does Ronnie take good care of my rose garden? By the way, where is he?" she looked around the living room to find his whereabouts.
"I fired him..," said Nana Aida with a lie.
"Oh, seriously? You shouldn't do it, Nana! Ronnie is a mute guy, he will have a hard time finding work outside. Don't you feel any amount of pity towards him?" Jessy sounded shocked.
Nana Aida did not expect to see the extreme distress plastered on the younger woman's face.
"I will find him and bring him back to continue working here in the mansion. At least here, he is safe, well feed and have a good living condition. When did you fire him, Nana?"
"The next day after you get back to the Facility."
"I will start finding him tomorrow night. I will bring him back here so that you will have a companion again," said Jessy.
"Actually, I did not fire him, he walked out of the door and never came back," Nana Aida came out clean.
"Maybe he was afraid of me, that's why he goes away," said Jessy sadly. She felt guilty, maybe she scared the mute guy too much.
"Jessy, don't go after him. Don't go after Ronnie!" Nana Aida repeated.
Jessy looked at Nana Aida peculiarly.
"Why?"
"Just let go of the lad!" Nana Aida spoke again, her voice firm.
Jessy ignored Nana Aida, she kept her thoughts to herself.
Nana Aida stared at Jessy for a long time. She can't quite decipher what's going on with the young lady's mind. Sometimes Jessy got a stubborn streak on her.
A few minutes later...
"Nana, you can go to sleep now. I will be the one to close the door for you. I will just visit Adam's grave first before I will go back to the Facility. I also have to pick up some of my things upstairs." Jessy walked towards the door and disappeared behind it.
Nana Aida let out a deep sigh and shook her head.
She just hoped, Jessy will not pursue her goal of finding Ronnie. Not now that the Queen is also trying to find her son in the city.
What if the worst thing will happen? The Queen, Jessy, and Adam will come face to face, the three of them? Nana Aida shuddered at the thought that suddenly appeared on her mind.
Adam did not know that two women closest to him are trying to find him. One was his birth mother and the other one was his lover.
Jessy picked some roses from her garden and then she sat down on Adam's grave. She set aside the old dried roses and arranged the fresh roses on the flower vase in front of the tombstone.
It's been nearly one month since the day Adam died.
The sadness in her heart refused to go away. The longing for his kisses and hugs makes her sleep late during night time. It's terrible missing him so badly. She wants to turn back time and make Adam alive again.
Sometimes she wonders if she had loved him enough?
What are the things she failed to do for him when he was still alive?
Was he truly happy beside her when he was still alive and breathing?
Although her heart answered yes to all, still she can't help but doubted herself.
She doesn't know if the time and road ahead can help cure the pain in her heart. Only Adam's presence can cure the pain of loneliness and emptiness that was swiftly squeezing her heart.
"I love you so much, Adam. I miss you so much!" she whispered those words into his tombstone.
Fresh tears sprung from her eyes. She let them roll down into her face. If only her tears can wipe away the loneliness, emptiness, and sadness she felt inside, she would have drowned herself into her own sorrows and followed Adam into his grave.
A few minutes later...
The tears already subsided and Jessy dried away the remaining tears from her face with the hem of her blouse.
She rose to her feet and bid goodbye to Adam's grave.
She went inside the mansion, climb the stairs and went straight into Adam's room. What greeted her inside was a deafening silence and vivid memories of him. She lay down on his bed and shut her eyes. The happy memories they shared together were flashing back alive in her mind like movie clips marathon that kept playing no matter how hard she tried to block them from coming.
Finding the atmosphere of his room suffocating, she stood up abruptly and left the room.
She found herself in her room, she took her old backpack and stuffed some of her things inside it. Her brows furrowed when she can't find two of her favorite panties, crop top, and black cotton shorts, where are they? They were also Adam's favorites! How come they just vanished out of nowhere?
She went looking for those garments for the next fifteen minutes, she looked everywhere inside the room, in the bathroom, below her bed, in her wardrobe and yet, in the end, she found nothing, she finally give up~feeling frustrated, tired and agitated.
"Whatever!" she grabbed her teddy bear and sighed.
She teleported herself back into her room in the Facility.
