~The Beach~

Adam watched the tiny waves lapping down at his feet with amusement and delight registered on his face.
He teleported himself into the beach twenty minutes ago.
The weather was specifically fine and windy tonight. The salty air whipped at his messy unkempt hair.
He's here in the beach for two things, first to reminiscence of the beautiful times he spent together with Jessy and second to find out what new powers he had obtained after being fed with Jess' blood.
He faced the calm sea and fixed his eyes on the small body of water lapping around the stone, in his mind he was commanding the water to rise.
To his surprise, the sea water starts rising until it reaches fifteen inches from the surface...
Then five meters...
Another ten meters...
He did not stop concentrating until the water level rise above fifteen meters from the surface.
Then he eventually released the water and it fell down in a heavy splash below the sand and stones in the ground.
Fantastic!
He exclaimed to himself.
Not yet satisfied...
He fixed his concentration on the white sand in front of him, he waved his hand unto the sand, a mass of white sand automatically rose from the ground, creating a mass of sandstorm as thick as two meters.
He was blown away!
Next, he tried to command the wind, he created a tiny tornado in the surface of the water. The wind was molded in a funnel-shaped cloud and currently creating a rotating whirlwind of air that was rising and starts to devour the water and sand around it. Adam instantly halted his actions to prevent further damage around the beach and the wind suddenly return to its calm state.
Cool!
He grinned from ear to ear.
He started a fire in the palm of his hands, his palms grow warmer as the fire starts growing bigger, a few minutes later he finally extinguished the fire by closing his palms. He still retained all his inherited power since birth.
Adam sat down on the white sand to rest.
He lay down on the sandy shore and stretched the whole length of his body.
The moon was shining brightly tonight illuminating the whole beach with an enchanting hue.
The scenery around the beach was a hundred times better for sleeping than the sidewalk he used to sleep. Caden was still sleeping when he left his side and teleported himself into the beach.
Last two days ago, he already contacted her mother's trusted friend and he ordered two new identities both for him and Caden.
Caden chooses to retain his name. While Adam opted to change his name into something new.
Once everything is ready, he planned to relocate into the capital city and live a new life with Caden. Once they will be settled in the city he will start to think about what will be his final plan for his life. His other plans include going to a regular school and get a degree, start a business, find a suitable hobby and make a good living out of it or just grab whatever new opportunity that comes his way.
He realized that having lots of money at your disposal, entitled you to a lot of opportunities that was ripe for the picking.
It's ironic that at this stage of his life, not only he has great power he also had vast wealth at his disposal.
His life was almost perfect, except for one thing, he got the saddest broken heart among all human beings on earth. He cannot pursue the only woman he truly loves and treasured for all eternity, Jessy!
And the worse thing he was also estranged from his own beloved family.
He now believes that nobody can't attain perfection or complete happiness in this world.
He shrugged his shoulders in defeat.
Out of nowhere, he heard a rustling sound, it originated from the bushes not far from him, he stood up and squinted at the tall bushes. He can't see anything, he went closer to the bushes to inspect what caused the movements...
When he parted the bushes, to his surprise it's just two wild cats playing with their kittens.
He smiled to himself.
He was about to go back to the shore when he spotted a human form suddenly materializes under the shade of the coconut tree.
His heart was beating fast!
To his joy and horror, he already knew who it was!
Jessy!
Adam was caught off guard by her sudden appearance on the beach. He needs to hide quick! His brain functions erratically...he kept screaming at his brain...hide...hide...disappear!
Too late!
Jessy looked at his direction!
Their eyes meet!
But he was confused...because Jessy ignored him as if she was not seeing him at all. It would be impossible not to notice his 5'10 height.
She sat down on the white sand under the shade of the coconut tree and she brought something with her, her teddy bear!
She hugged the teddy bear while her eyes were glued to the sparkling ocean in front of her. She continues to gaze into the distance with a faraway expression on her face.
Adam can't still understand why she was not able to see him?
That explains one thing, he becomes invisible, that's why Jessy was not able to see him right away.
He became the Invisible Man!
Adam almost laughed at the unexpected activation of his new amazing power.
This is great! His power leveled up! It's all thanks to Jessy.
He breathed in relief knowing she was not able to see him at all.
After his euphoria died, he fixed his gaze back on Jessy!
How lovely it could be if he can sit beside her and enveloped her in his arms just like before.
But he can't reveal himself in front of her, for he will always appear as Ronnie the mute guy to her. And judging with their recent unpleasant steamy encounter with each other, Jessy would not want to associate herself to him ever again.
Adam took a deep breath and sighed.
He sat on the ground a few meters away from her. He will just accompany her in silence.
Ten minutes later he heard her muffled sobbing...
As seconds pass by...her cries were getting louder and unrestrained, as if she just came here on the beach just to cry her heart out.
Then he heard her whimpering voice calling his name.
Adamm...
Adammmm...
Ouch! He had to massage his chest because the pain inside was tearing him apart.
Jessy's loneliness and longing penetrated his heart and it's too much for him to handle. He longed to hug her tight and shower her with his kisses. But it's not gonna happen anytime soon. He has to restrain himself from appearing in front of Jessy.
She continued crying for the next few minutes. Burying her tear stricken face into the teddy bear's soft fluffy body.
Adam kept staring at her, unable to comfort her.
He felt useless and powerless.
When the urge to touch her became so overwhelming, he decided to reveal himself to Jessy, suddenly the voice of Adam's mother resonated in his mind, telling him to stay away from Jessy. His mother's voice was enough to snap him out from his reverie. He finally gave up his urge to touch her.
The last thirty minutes was an agonizing moment for both of them.
Jessy with her heartbreaking longing for her dead lover...
And Adam's tormented deprived desire that was raging inside him wanting to get out.
It was plain torture seeing the woman you love a few meters away from you, yet you can't even touch her nor call her name, Adam thought to himself.
He closed his eyes, the war inside his mind was still ongoing.
The war inside his mind was escalating...
To reveal himself or not to reveal?
When he finally decided to throw cautions in the air, he opened his eyes and was about to approach her...
He was startled to see she was already gone along with her teddy bear. She must have teleported herself back into the Facility awhile ago.
His excitement turned into a huge disappointment.
F*uck!
He regretted hesitating earlier.
Now it's too late.
