108 Restoring Your Memory

The King and Queen sent for Jessy, they will inform her that Adam is alive, then they will proceed to restore Adam's memory in the younger woman's subconscious.

Princess Abigail went to the clinic to fetch Jessy. She wants to share with Jessy the good news that her brother Adam is alive!

She went inside the clinic.

"Doctor, the King said to halt the blood transfusion in the next few hours because he wants to talk with Jessy," she said.

The doctor looked at the princess for a moment. "Okay, you can go now Jess," the doctor said after taking out the blood transfusion needle from her arms.

Jessy rose from the bed and followed the princess into the Queen's study room.

"My brother Prince Adam is alive!" Abigail exclaimed.

Jessy was no longer surprised, Adam is alive, she always has that feeling that he is. Why does the royal couple want her presence just to tell her that Adam is alive? Even if he was, she was already married to his brother, so what's the point?

When they arrived in the study room, the King and Queen were sitting side by side on the sofa.

"Please sit down, Jessy, we have something important to tell you," the Queen said.

Jessy sat down on the sofa facing the royal couple.

The King coughed a little, trying to clear the lump in his throat. "My Queen here erased your memory of Adam and also your feelings for him in your mind so I will restore everything today," he said.

"What for---Father? What's the purpose in all this?" Jessy asked.

The King released a deep sigh. "As you can see... your husband is already a mere mortal and was strip off all his power, we are fearing that your marriage with him can no longer produce powerful crossbreed vampire in the future. So, we will ask your husband to set you free and dissolved the marriage in favor of you and Adam's union. At this point, Prince Zain will have to make sacrifices just for the sake of the survival of the next vampire race," he said sadly.

Jessy sighed. The prophecy and all this... is bullshit, but then she has a responsibility to take care, after turning all the 5K vampires into humans, she swears that she will live for herself and be free from all these stressful responsibilities.

"Whatever...do what you think is fit... Father," she said with a blank face.

The Queen was observing the younger woman's reaction. Surprisingly, she can see no emotion on Jessy's face. Strange.

"By the way, Father... did my husband already knew about this?" Jessy asked.

Both the Queen and King shook their heads.

"We haven't told him yet, we are still finding the right time and the right approach how to tell him about our plan," the Queen replied.

Jessy sighed again. Although she doesn't like Prince Zain, she knows that he loves her so much. It's the kind of love that is obsessive since they never have a good relationship before the marriage. His love for her intensifies when they indulge in lovemaking almost every day by switching Hannah's appearance with hers. Well, if this will finally happen she can finally rest and no longer have to switch appearances with Hanna all the time, it's become tiring already, it has to end at some point in time, and now is the time to end the facade!

"I have to inform you, Father and Mother, that my husband will be hard to convince to part with me. I just have to remind you that he may never agree to all your wishes, good luck!" Jessy said.

"Leave everything to us, Jessy, we will take care of our son since we knew him better than you do," the Queen replied.

"Okay, let's start the process now of restoring my memory of Adam," Jessy said.

The King stood up and went to Jessy's side. "Closed your eyes, child, so that we can start the restoring process," he said.

Jessy does as she was told, she shut her eyes and felt the King's hands encircling her head with a firm yet gentle grip.

One by one, all the memories she had shared with Adam in the Spring Meadow Mansion were restored in her memories, this time all the feelings that were associated with those memories were also restored. Adam! A tear fell from her eyes, tears of longing, tears of sadness... assaulted her senses. Right now she wanted to see him badly!

The King was done with the restoration process. "It's done!"

"Can you remember everything now, Jessy?" the Queen asked.

Jessy nodded her head. "Yes."

"That's good," the Queen said.

"I want to see Adam! Where is he?" she demanded.

"Calm down child, I will take you to him tonight, for now, you have to finish with the rest of the remaining blood transfusion scheduled for the day after you are done, I will take you to his place, okay?" the Queen said.

Jessy nodded her head. "Okay." She stood up and left the room quietly.

The King and Queen released a sigh of relief, they were thinking earlier that Jessy would make a push about everything, they were afraid that she had already fallen in love with her husband and if she did it would be hard to convince her to break up with him, good thing... the younger woman agreed to everything without complaining.

The King looked at his only daughter. "Abigail, go fetch your brother Zain for us, inform him that we have something important to tell him," he said.

Princess Abigail hesitated a bit.

"Why are you still standing there? Didn't you hear your father's order, Abigail?" asked the Queen.

"I'm afraid to tell brother Zain about your plan, I pity him, I felt sad for him," Abigail mumbled.

The Queen sighed. "Don't tell him everything that you know, we will tell him ourselves. Keep your mouth shut, okay?"

Princess Abigail obediently nodded her head and exited the room to obey her parents' command.
