106 Acceptance

The Queen is not backing out.

The King's face was showing a huge amount of confusion. Deep inside him as a father, he feels happy after discovering that his second son is still alive but then his heart also goes out to his eldest son who will feel hurt and betrayed the most when he learned about all this. It's not an easy matter for everyone involved. "W-where is Adam right now? I want to see him!" declared the King. He has to see his second son first before he will decide on everything.

The Queen was overjoyed upon seeing the excitement on her husband's face. "I will take you to him, but I have to inform you first that he was no longer the same ugly child we are accustomed to seeing when he died the cursed on his skin...those ugly scars were also gone. He was now a handsome young man and a successful and famous model in the mortal world, and he also changed his name to Gavin Sanders," she explained.

"What are you waiting for, my Queen? Take me to Adam!" the King ordered excitedly.

"Wait...there is one last thing you need to know and I need your help regarding this matter," the Queen replied.

The King's face went red. "What is it again this time? Why did you hide so many secrets from me!?" his face hardened again.

"This is the last one, my King. For Jessy to comply in marrying Prince Zain, I did not tell her the truth that Adam is alive, she has no idea how Adam looks like right now. To make things easier for Jessy to learn to accept her husband I erased all her memory of Adam including her feelings for him. I want you to bring back all Adam's memory in Jessy's mind so that they can continue where they left off in their relationship," said the Queen.

The King sighed. "No problem, is that all? Hope this is the last revelation you have for me. All this scheming you do behind my back is disturbing and shocking!" he said with a grim face.

"This will be the last revelation, my King, I promise you that!" Margaret said.

"Okay, let's not waste our time, I want to see our son, again!" the King said, misty-eyed.

The Queen and King hold hands and teleported themselves into Gavin's apartment.

Gavin was preparing himself to sleep. He slipped beneath the bed covers and was about to turn off the lampshade on the bedside table when he was surprised upon seeing two figures suddenly materialized inside his room.

His eyes widened when he recognized the two figures... no other than his mother and father!

Gavin stood up and don't know if he will greet his parents or not. Everything was so sudden he was unprepared for what his reaction will be.

"My son, look at you! Come here let me take a closer look at you!" said the King beaming happily at his second son, not minding his lukewarm reaction.

Gavin was caught off guard, so his father already knew about his secret. He took steps towards his father and he was enveloped in a bear hug.

"I miss you so much, son! I'm so happy after your mother told me that you are resurrected from death. I'm sorry I was not able to attend your burial I cannot leave the Facility during that time," the King's voice was cracking with emotion.

"I miss you too, Father!" Gavin responded, he hugged his father as tightly as he could, feeling happy that he was finally accepted back into his family, he was trying to choke the lump in his throat, but the tears sprung from his eyes and he began sobbing real hard, all the pent up emotion he tried to hide for a long time were now stumbling out in the open.

The Queen was feeling overjoyed after seeing the emotional father and son reunion after a long time.

"Shhh, stop crying Adam, you're no longer a little boy, you're a grown-up adult now," the King reprimanded him.

Gavin wiped the tears from his eyes with the back of his hand.

"Adam, I already know all about you and Jessy, you're mother told me everything, don't worry I will return all her memories of you so that you two will continue your relationship and you will breed new powerful vampire crossbreed and one day restore our glory here on earth," the King's eyes were sparkling with a newfound purpose. He was no longer depressed after knowing that his other son, Adam, can continue the prophecy. "Come with us!" the King said.

Gavin shook his head, no matter how tempting his parent's offer... he was still guilty for betraying his brother. He doesn't know how to face him. "I'm sorry, I can no longer go back, Father. My brother will surely hate me if he knows that I'm still alive and I inherited all the powers that were meant for him," he said.
