Chapter 4 - Page of The World

"I'm back? To my first life?" Jeffrey was shocked. "No. No. I don't want to be locked up in this room for all of my life!"

Before he could clear his head, the door from the VIP room opened up and he saw a couple in front of the door.

"Oh my god, sweetheart! Are you awake?"

There is no one on this earth that could beat this voice. The voice was warm and calmed down all of his nerves. The voice immediately healed his frantic mind.

That was his mom's voice. Right, he remembered how huge his parent's love for him.

His mom hugged his little and thin body while she was crying.

"I heard you went unconscious and I'm afraid that something worse happened to you. Thank god, you are awake!"

His small hands hugged his mom back. He had a difficult live and he was lonely. Maybe he felt lonely or maybe it was the side effect of his small body, so he also wanted to cry.

He didn't realize that the hug from his mother could be this warm. Before, in his first life, he hated his parents. He thought that they didn't care about him since they rarely visited him.

However, after he went through more than 2 lifes, he knew that he was wrong. They needed money to save his life and finding the cure. So, they didn't have a choice besides work hard. It was very selfish of him if he wanted them to visit him day after day.

With his first life ended at 22 years old, the second life ended at 25 years old, and the third life ended at 24 years old, his way of thinking became more mature and almost old-fashioned.

So, don't be shocked even if his body is three years old, but his soul already aged 20 times his current age.

Still, His age affects his emotions quite big since he felt like he wanted to cry.

He then looked at the man behind his mom. It was his father. Jeffrey was always afraid of his father before, but when he looked at his father's expression, he could feel that his father was worried about him.

He closed his eyes while thinking how sad they would be in his first life after they knew he already died.

"I'm fine, mom." Jeffrey decided to calm his mom. He rubbed her back and repeatedly said fine in her ears.

Slowly, the cry of his mom went down and what left was the small sobs of his mom.

His father then embraced his mom and after that, the tears that flowed in her eyes was finally done.

He smiled with his pale face and welcomed his parents, " Welcome back, mommy and daddy! I missed you guys!"

"Mommy and daddy too. We are very sorry that we couldn't visit you every day. We have too much work, honey. Are you okay?"

Jeffrey nodded his small head and replied, "It is okay, Mom. I'm already this big and I can take care of myself."

His father looked at him and stroked Jeffrey's black hair, "Daddy is proud of my strong boy. Just be patient and daddy will cure you, okay?"

Jeffrey once again nodded. Their time was limited and he wanted to spend his time as wisely as he could.

After some chat, his father got called and they immediately went back to their office.

He was being left alone and it was a good thing.

"Status," said Jeffrey.

A lot of information flashes in front of him. Same as before, this status window could only be seen by him. So, it was okay to open it when there are a lot of people. But it would be inconvenient since his sight blocked by this window.

He analyzed the information in the status. He looked at the skill section and saw something weird.

"Page of The World? What is that?"

Jeffrey tried to click the information about that and the information was opening.

"So this is the cheating skill I requested." Jeffrey smiled at this and looked for another information. "Okay, so there is a lot of information on this skill. Let's try it out."

He clicked the Yes button in front of him and suddenly the world around him seems blurry.

After a while, Jeffrey's eyes opened up and saw a lot of notification windows.

He massaged his temple and tried to sit on the bed. He read the notifications and clicked the Yes button in the last notification windows.

Suddenly, a robotic women's voice could be heard by him. "Welcome to the Page of The World, master!"

No more windows appeared in front of his eyes, but rather he heard a robotic woman voice that greets him.

"Who are you?"

"My name is Page. I am a skill that could do anything you ask and I could provide you with a lot of information."

"What are you and where are you? I couldn't see your body." Jeffrey asked her

"I am a skill, so I don't have a body, master. The skill was planted in your brain, so you can't see me." Page replied in a monotone voice.

"So, it is like that. Page, how many mana I spent to use you?"

"This is the special skill of Page of The World. This skill doesn't require mana absorption and any energy. This skill only activates when your HP still available. If your HP is 0, then the skill will be destroyed by itself." Page replied.

This is literally a cheating skill!

From the second and third life he had been through, every skill he used always consumed his mana. So, if he didn't have a lot of mana, he couldn't activate his skills.

Jeffrey smiled excitedly and asked, "So, you can do anything I want?"

"Yes, master."

"Okay, let's try this. How many nurses on this floor?"

"The question is accepted." Page replied in monotone voice.

A window appeared in front of him.

"Show me the proof," He couldn't just easily believe it. So, he asked for proof.

"Request is accepted."

"Master, close your eyes," Page said in her monotone.

Jeffrey did what she asked since he needed proof of her answer. He closed his eyes.

"Master, you can open up your eyes in three..."

"Two..."

"One... You may open your eyes, Master."

Page asked him to open his eyes and the moment he opened his eyes, the world became black and white, almost like the result of an X-Ray.

"Wow..." Jeffrey was amazed by this. He never had any skills that works like this in his life before.

"Master, you can tell me the instruction." Page reminded him.
