23 Chapter 23 - Back to The Dungeon (1)

[ Warning! The remaining time to finish the Daily Quest is 1 minute left. Please finish the daily quest as soon as possible ]

[ 30 seconds before the penalty ]

[ You have failed to finish the Daily Quest ]

[ Prepare to move the master of the system to Penalty Dungeon ]

Jeffrey's little body seemed calm as he looked at the notification windows that appeared before his eyes.

With a dagger in his hands, his eyes flared excitedly.

Jeffrey said, "Page, are you ready?"

"Yes, master," Page replied.

Within a seconds, Jeffrey's sight became blurry. His head was dizzy and he wanted to throw up.

However, he held back and opened up his eyes slowly.

He saw the same sight as he had before.

A hallway whose walls were lined with bricks. Every a couple meters there was a torch in the wall that lightened up the hallway.

It was dark and scary, yet this 3 years old child didn't afraid of this thing.

He had this super overpowered weapon and he also had Page on his head.

Suddenly, a notification window appeared in front of him.

[ The Penalty Dungeon

Mission: Survived for 3 hours

Rewards: ???

Penalty: Death ]

When he looked at the detail of the mission his eyes widened. As long as he remembered, the mission was to survived for 1 hour. Why did it change?

He asked Page for the answer, "Page, why is the mission time increasing?"

Page answered, "That is because you are in level 3, master."

"Hmm... So it is like that," Jeffrey nodded.

He decided not to think too much about it and instead focusing himself to gain a lot of EXP in the dungeon.

So, he said to Page, "Page, find me a route to the easiest monsters to deal with."

"Yes, master."

Unlike when his first time in the dungeon where Page had to direct the way, this time, he saw a map in front of him.

On the map, there was a lot of information about the monsters, the trap, and many more. He could go wherever he wanted to.

With this map in his hands, Jeffrey decided to go to the easiest place he thought.

Thankfully, he already trained his body through the daily quest, and also he already increased his stamina to 14, so he didn't feel any tiredness.

He ran to that place before the time limit rans out and when he arrived, he saw a bunch of monsters in front of him.

He smirked and slowly approached them. When they heard Jeffrey's footsteps, they turned their head and their black eyes became red.

The map called these monsters, Grudge Rabbit. Grudge Rabbit was not like any ordinary rabbit.

Their body is huge, almost as huge as an elephant. Instead of herbivorous teeth, they have carnivorous teeth that were sharp enough to chew their prey.

When they saw Jeffrey, their black eyes turned into red eyes and they were also growling. They had enough of goblin's meat. They tasted like trash and they could finally find a delicious meet.

They looked at Jeffrey with hunger. Their saliva was drooling until it touched the ground.

When they finally couldn't hold their hunger anymore, they quickly attacked Jeffrey.

"Activate battle mode," Jeffrey said to Page.

[ Activate the battle mode ]

Instantly, his sight filled with a lot of strategy and prediction of their move.

One of the rabbits was dashing to Jeffrey. However, Jeffrey quickly dodged it with his small body.

When he thought that everything was too easy, his feet were tripping over a pebble.

He immediately fell and this was a great opportunity for the rabbits.

Taking advantage of Jeffrey's mistake, another rabbit dashed to him and pulled out its claw.

SWOOSH!

Jeffrey was sidestepping to dodged it's claw, but he was one second late and his right cheek was bleeding.

Jeffrey's cheek was throbbing pain, yet his eyes didn't stop being cautious.

He took out the dagger and said, "I was underestimating this rabbit. I thought that if it was the lower tier monsters, I could defeat it within a second, yet I couldn't finish it."

Jeffrey looked at the calculation made by Page according to his effort in dodging.

"Master, the calculation is already done," Page interrupted his mind. "You can follow my instructions to defeat them."

Jeffrey nodded. He prepared himself to do what Page said, but Page actually gave him her sight.

Jeffrey's eyes immediately changed into Page's sight.

He could see what the rabbits would do in the next seconds.

What amazed him more was the fact that their body movement became slower!

Jeffrey followed the move in his sight and quickly slashed through the rabbit's head.

In the rabbit's eyes, they couldn't see Jeffrey's movement at all. Once he stopped and in the next second, one rabbit fell down headless.

Their eyes slightly trembled and moved their feet back.

The most terrifying thing was not only that. The dagger in Jeffrey's hand emitted an aura of a dragon.

While Jeffrey happily slashed down the rabbit's head, the rest of the rabbits quickly ran away.

[ You have level up! ]

[ Congratulations! You have accomplished what no one else has. Do you want to receive the gifts? (Y/N) ]

One hour passed by and he was already in level six.

Not only that, but he also got a hidden gift from the system. He quickly said yes and received the gifts, but he closed the notification windows.

He decided to see it later because he only had two hours left in the dungeon.

When he tried to leave and move to the next place on the map, another notification window appeared.

[ Congratulations! Your Page of The World skill is successfully leveled up by 0.1 point ]

Jeffrey smiled, "Nice!"

However, when he wanted to leave, he heard a loud roar in the rabbit's cave.

It was not without reason that the rabbit was called the Grudge Rabbit. They were vengeful monsters.

Once it's kind died by another monster, they chased it's murderer and ate it without giving them any mercy.

This time, the ground was shaking like there was an earthquake coming.

Jeffrey's eyes widened when he saw that monster. It was coming out from the rabbit's cave and its eyes were purple.

It's breath was loud and he could even hear it's growl.

[ Warning! The Boss of the Grudge Rabbit was in its rage mode.

Mission: Defeat the boss

Rewards: ???

Penalty: Death ]

Jeffrey quickly cursed at his luck, "Crap! I'm dead now."
