62 The Reaper

Cross woke up the next day in a bed with Luna wrapped around his body like a koala. She was wearing his old hoodie and shorts, other than that, there was nothing. He himself was wearing just boxers.

He remembered the events of last night and scratched his neck, seems like he got drunk again.

Luna was stirred out of her sleep by Cross movements, she said sleepily "Good morning, hubby~" before yawning, her sharp canines gleaming. Cross kissed her lips and Luna' opened her eyes before smiling and closing them as she pulled Cross down to the bed.

Cross hugged her waist as he gently kissed her lips, Luna wrapped her arms around his neck, her long golden hair sprawled across the bed as they laid on their sides and intertwined their legs together.

Cross separated his lips from hers and smiled as he said "Good morning to you too." Luna snuggled into his chest and purred "A really good morning now~" Cross just laid there with her, comfortably.

A while later

Cross threw on a hoodie and slipped into slippers as he walked down the stairs with Luna while yawning.

Moody saw them coming down and said "Good you're ready. Let's go." Cross scratched his stubble and said "Where you going?" Sirius said "Somewhere hidden." as he stuffed his face full with a pastry and added "Excellent food, Molly. Truly." Molly smiled and served more.

Cross yawned again and said "Why do you need me?" as he spoke an owl smashed into the window and fell to the ground. Moody ignored it and said "Did you have other plans? Going to Hogwarts doesn't seem very appealing anymore."

Cross replied "Actually, I have to go there for something... Plus it's my last year. Why don't you all just hide in Hogsmeade. I guarantee Voldemort will choose Hogwarts as a place to attack" Lupin said "That would be idiotic."

Cross chuckled and said "Who said he was smart? He's a moron in the first place, don't use common sense with this guy." Sirius spit out his tea and laughed as the owl got up and handed a two letters to Molly before flying away.

Molly handed them to Cross with a small smile, but she was biting her lips looking at the second one.

Cross took the letters and the second one flew out and formed a mouth before Cross was blasted with the loudest voice he had ever heard "CROSS GREENGRASS! YOU LITTLE BASTARD! YOU GET YOUR ELVEN ASS HOME RIGHT NOW BEFORE I COME FIND YOU AND DRAG YOU BACK HERE BY YOUR EARS! HOW DARE YOU!"

The letter turned to Luna and said softly "I'm so sorry for my son, dear. We are very happy to have you in our family." before turning back to Cross and shouting "IF YOU'RE NOT BACK BY NOON TODAY, I WILL DRAG YOU BACK MYSELF!" before exploding into a bunch of tiny shreds of paper.

Cross had his mouth open like an 'O' as he stared at the pile of paper scraps, Sirius and Lupin smacked the table and burst into laughter. Sirius leaned on Lupin's shoulder and wheezed, Luna covered her mouth and giggled.

Sirius wiped his eyes and said "Don't worry, mate. I've had my fair share of howlers back in the day. Hahhahaha" before laughing again, Cross snapped "You damn dog! Do you want to get fixed?!" Sirius choked and felt a cold breeze between his legs.

Cross grumbled "Shitty old man..." as he opened the other letter, his eyes widened in surprise before he slowly smiled and said "Interesting." Fred and George said "What is it?" Cross smiled and said "It's from McGonagall. Apparently, I was offered to teach Defense Against the Dark Arts at Hogwarts this year."

Everybody gasped, Fred and George before sighed. Fred said "It's been nice knowing ya, mate." George added "Maybe we'll be friends in the next life." the rest were confused and Ginny explained "Every DADA teacher has only been in the position for a single year before something happened to them."

Cross chuckled and said "Or in Moody's case, not even make it to the job." Moody had a sour look on his face and Cross sighed as he added "Though Barty Jr. was a good teacher. Short and quick to the point, showing all Unforgivable Curses. Nice guy."

The rest coughed and looked at Cross weirdly, Luna laughed and shook her head. Cross added again "Oh, and the Head of Slytherin house. What a lucky guy!" the rest rolled their eyes, Luna asked "What are you going to do?" Cross said excitedly "Agree of course! Sounds like fun!"

The rest rolled their eyes and Cross chuckled before saying goodbye to everyone and teleporting back to his house with Luna.

As soon as he appeared, Marcus dragged him off by his ear while Alyssa smiled and led Luna to another room with Astoria and Daphne.

Marcus blasted Cross for an entire 3 hours before calming down, Cross then explained what happened and said that he may not get to have his grandkids visit him. Marcus then blasted Cross for another hour about having to absolutely see his grandkids, to which Cross replied "Maybe" which set Marcus off again.

A while later

Marcus had a satisfied look on his face while Cross looked gloomy. This guy was too unreasonable! He wanted his kids to visit everyday! They were HIS kids! What kind of shitty grandpa was this?!

On the other hand, Luna was having the time of her life as Alyssa gave her all the love and care she needed along with Astoria and Daphne fighting over the godmother position. To which Luna revealed that there would be two and they could both be godmothers, making the two girls over the moon in excitement.

Cross was given glares as he ate at the table, he was helpless to this. It was really an accident! He changed the topic by revealing that he was offered a job and took it, but didn't say what the job was, creating a mysterious vibe.

The rest rolled their eyes and Luna giggled as she ate, having a strange craving for licorice and chocolate frogs. Not chocolate, but chocolate frogs specifically. Cross couldn't figure it out but bought so many chocolate frogs that Astoria claimed the Chocolate frog population would be facing troubles in the years to come.

Cross patted her head with life energy hoping to make her a little smarter, unfortunately it didn't work. At least her Maledictus was cured, so she was in no danger of dying from it, plus she could change back and forth whenever she wanted.

Time passed quickly

Cross brought Luna to Hogwarts on the train, her stomach had a barely noticeable bump on it. He didn't know if teleporting was a good idea with her being pregnant and all, so he went with the normal way back.

Something to note, he was given a letter by Ragnok. Everything in the Lestrange vault was his now. Even the dragon that guarded it. Cross replied that he killed a ton of people and didn't even remember who Bellatrix was, to which Ragnok sent him another letter tell Cross about how he laughed so hard he almost died and now Cross owes him medical fees.

Cross was speechless as he read the letter, he replied that Ragnok could 'Shove it' and that he could heal him personally free of charge. Ragnok didn't send another letter after that. Cross chuckled and sent Ragnok another letter saying that he wanted a list of what was inside Lestrange's vault and if he killed Voldemort would he get his vault too.

Ragnok replied with a long list of things and Galleons before saying that Tom Riddle never came to take his vault ever, subtly calling him a moron, before adding that he could just give the vault to Cross now because he couldn't imagine Riddle living for very long after Cross had his sights on him.

Cross laughed and replied telling Ragnok to just move everything from Lestrange and Riddle's vaults, however many there were, into his own vault. As well as the dragon, as it could be used for later. Ragnok had no problems with this, actually it was only because Cross was Cross, if it was anyone else this was absolutely impossible.

Cross thanked Ragnok and sent him a few things he had on him along with saying he could take 1/4 of all the Galleons. Ragnok replied that he had a heart attack from happiness and decided to take 5% more for medical fees, to which Cross just let him do.

Currently Cross was sitting on the train to Hogwarts with Luna, as Neville and Ginny were talking.

Suddenly!

The train stopped and some men in black entered the train cart Cross was in. Neville stood up and said "Hey, losers. He isn't here." Cross clapped and chuckled, getting attention from the Death Eaters.

Cross gave them a blood thirsty grin as he said "Don't you know who I am?" he waved of and said "Listen carefully, they call me the Reaper." as he shot his arm through the first man's chest and heart while pointing at the man behind him and saying "Avada Kadavra!" and killing him.

Cross took his arm out of the man and said "Nothing but scum these guys are." as he cleaned his hand. Luna sighed and said "Look what you did." Cross turned around and saw a bunch of kids vomiting, he was confused and said "What's wrong with you all?"

Ginny rolled her eyes and said "You just killed two people and there's something wrong with them?" Cross scratched his stubble and said "Hmm, I forgot you were all greenhouse flowers... Well maybe you should all go home this year then."

One of the students threw up and shouted "What does that mean?! You're going to Azkaban!" Cross was bewildered and looked at the kid and replied "Oi, tosspot. You know Voldemort is going to attack Hogwarts eventually, right? Plus..."

His smiled turned mysterious and Ginny rolled her eyes, he stopped speaking and waved his hand. The two corpses turned to ashes and Cross patted the train, shouting "Go now, mate. I haven't got all day!"

The train started moving again and Cross sat down before saying to Neville "Bloody courageous, Neville! That guy would have killed you without even blinking if he was in a bad mood." Neville smiled slight with a pale face.

Luna hugged Cross arm and smiled happily as the Train continued without stopping.

Cross got off the train with Luna and boarded a carriage with Neville, Ginny, Daphne, and Astoria. Daphne chimed "I hope you have enough time for school and your job." Luna giggled and Cross smirked as he said "Oh, I will, sis. Don't worry about me."

He looked her up and down and added "Maybe we should start worrying about you. The Ice Queen still needs to get married.. Maybe we'll just sell you off?" Daphne blushed and cursed "Fucking bastard, how about I-" Cross pinched her lips and said "Neville, what do you think about my sister?"

Neville almost died from shock and Astoria burst out laughing, she almost fell right off the carriage but Luna caught her. Daphne was seething with rage and slapped his hand away as she pouted "I'm ignoring you!"

Cross pouted and sniffled as he said "You wouldn't... That hurts.." Daphne hugged him quickly and said "Of course not!" Cross smirked and hugged her tightly, sitting her next to him as he stroked her hair saying "Hmmm, who should be sell you off to?"

Daphne was red in the face with anger and the carriage was filled with laughter as it made it's way to the school.

A while later

Luna was sitting at the Ravenclaw table getting asked constantly about the ring, she was tired of explaining and just started saying "Married." shocking them even further.

Cross currently was leaning back in his chair at the teacher's table, his feet were on the table and his face was buried in a book titled 'How to teach DADA and not get fired the next year' He was wearing his black suit but with black sneakers and not suit jacket.

His jewelry was visible and his sleeves were rolled up.

Funnily enough his face was covered by the book so no one could see his face or ears. Though he still attracted a ton of attention just by his terrible manners, he was sitting in between Hagrid and Slughorn as he read without a care in the world.
