45 Forbidden Elf Transmutation Ritual

Cross turned around, his emotionless face returning. He walked forward and waved his hand, Cho flew into his hand as he grabbed her neck and said without emotion "Explain to me how this is your fault." Cho was having a hard time breathing and didn't respond.

Cross said "Hmm. No words, maybe a little pain will refresh your memory. Crucio." red lighting came out of his hand and Cho screamed in pain. Cross snapped his fingers and an invisible barrier appeared around him and the rest of the group including McGonagall.

They were all to stunned to do anything. Cross was truly a monster!

Cross stopped and said "Remember anything yet, waste of life?" Cho was terrified and pissed herself, Cross said "Scourgify." and cleaned it before continuing "3 seconds left before I kill you. 3, 2, -" Cho said "I was under an Imperious Curse!" Cross said "Oh? So you're a weak fool then. Good to know."

As he dropped her to the ground.

Cross kicked her over to the group and said "I can assure you, none of you will remember what happened today. Only that I came in a took Luna away. Obliviate." as he pointed his fingers forward, obliviating them all, he paused at Hermione's sad look. She was staring at him, not fearful but devastated and sad.

He tore his gaze away and obliviated her as well. He then check all their minds, making sure he correctly obliviated them. When he confirmed it, he left the infirmary. Tomorrow they left for holiday break, he didn't have time to start planning, he needed to go see Ragnok.

Luna only had a few days at most. His Time Element wasn't that perfectly controlled yet. There was only one way that he knew of to cure Luna right now, but it was almost impossible to do... Plus it was extremely dangerous, for him at least.

It was the Forbidden Elf Transmutation Ritual.

Cross was dead serious about this, thankfully he had a few things that could replace the extinct materials, but for the rest he needed to go see Ragnok. Hopefully he had what he needed.

The next day

Cross teleported straight to Gringotts.

The goblins felt a suffocating pressure and Cross walked directly to Bogrod saying "Take me to Ragnok. Now." Bogrod choked on his word and nodded seriously, dropping everything and bring Cross to Ragnok's palace underground.

A while later

Cross walked into Ragnok's palace as he said "Ragnok!" Ragnok looked over and said "Hey Cross! I-" before seeing Cross and getting serious, as rage burned in his heart and he changed his words "What do you need."

Cross said "Fire phoenix feather, heart of a dragon, fangs of a Quetzalcoatl, blood of a fairy, and.... Sap from the Tree of Life." Ragnok trembled and said quickly "Your highness! You can't be-" Cross cut him off coldly and said "I am. I have already decided."

Ragnok said nervously "But you'll be betraying the Tree of Life, you can't possibly!" Cross whistled and Selena slithered out with Luna, Ragnok took one look and knew exactly what happened. He was shocked out of his wits as he said "Y-Your H-Highness! Y-You have the Time Element?!"

Cross nodded and said "Exactly, which is way I cannot waste time talking with you. Ragnok, I need these things. Immediately." Ragnok said seriously "Your Highness, pardon me for being blunt and audacious but is it truly worth it for a human woman?"

Cross wasn't angry and caressed Luna's pale face with love as he said softly "Every single bit." Ragnok was silent for a moment before sighing "Your Highness, last time, are you truly sure about this. The consequences for performing that Ritual are extremely severe, you could die! Betraying the Tree of Life is one thing, but you could lose your own life!"

Cross smiled lovingly, looking at Luna as he spoke "Living for the sake of living, completely alone... Is that truly living?" Ragnok was stunned for a good while, Cross added with a crazy grin "After all, we're not betraying the Tree of Life. She won't even know. Hehe" Ragnok was startled before he broke into joyous laughter and said "Good! Good! Hahahahahaha! Finally a true Elf! HAHAHAHAHA Our Goblin clan will rise again! HAHAHAAHAHA!"

Cross smirked and put Luna back after kissing her forehead, and followed Ragnok to the vault.

Ragnok had a crazy look in his eyes as he said "Take anything you need, think of it as a gift your the Queen from the Goblin race." Cross grinned madly as he said "Then I'll thank you on your behalf." Ragnok chuckled, not even bothering with the immense loss as he watched with interest as if he was participating in making a monster.

Technically he was.

Cross raided the entire vault for everything he needed and a few extras, taking namely Basilisk eyes, Seers pupils, and Thestral hairs. He walked out of the Vault and Ragnok said "Good Luck, Cross." as he handed a bottle to him, adding "This is all the Sap we have.. There's also a bit of Spring in there."

Cross nodded and teleported away.

Cross teleported across the country into Hogwarts' Room of Requirement. He said "I need ritual materials." they popped into existence next to him. Cross put his bag down and whistled 4 times, Carl, Blue, Grey, and Selena carrying Luna, came out of the bag.

Luna was looking worse than before and Cross cursed as he placed Luna on the ground before saying "I need blood from each of you, a scale from Selena, tears from Blue, a horn from Grey, and horn dust from Carl."

All four beasts got to work and gave their materials.

Cross waved his hand and they all floated next to him, he opened his bag and the rest of the material floated in the air around him. Cross opened the bottle from Ragnok and poured all the Sap and Spring out, forming two different bubbles.

The Sap was green and floated to Cross left, the Spring was clear with a green tint floating to Cross right. The room was filled with an aura of pure vitality and all 4 beasts sat in the four directions around Luna's body, per Cross' instructions.

They sat down and absorbed the vitality in the air.

Cross cut his palms and let his blood leak out as he waved his hand in the air, drawing runes in blood. He started levitating in the air and his eyes glowed golden red as he continued drawing Runes with his blood getting paler by the second.

The Sap and Spring formed streams and slowly enveloped Luna's body, occasionally Cross would twitch his finger and a material would melt into a liquid and float into the Sap and Spring mixture. Slowly everything floated into the mixture.

Horntail Dragon horn

Cross' blood

Cross kept moving even when his blood was draining from his body and becoming dangerously low. The blood red runes flew out and spun around the multi colored Sap and Spring mixture before Cross clapped his hands and chanted in Elven "Divine Tree of Life, forgive your child. The sin of betrayal shall be carried! Punish your child and Bless the innocent! Forbidden Transmutation! Bless your new child and punish the old!"

Cross twisted his palms together and swiped them out before pressing down towards Luna and coughing out a mouthful of blood.

The blood runes spun faster before turning bright golden green and imprinting themselves on the Sap and Spring mixture, spinning on the surface in different rotations with each different circle before abruptly stopping as the Mixture hardened and gleamed, becoming transparent.

Cross looked up, this was the moment to see if it worked or not. He looked at the floating upright crystal with runes engraved in it and a long golden 'core' on the inside. Cross let out a breath of relief and was about to close his eyes when a golden light shined on him.

Cross heard a beautiful but sad voice ring in his ears "My child, you have been charged with betrayal. How do you plead?" Cross responded in Elven "Guilty." the voice was silent for a few moments as Cross felt his memories flash in his mind, he slowly sat up and leaned his back against the wall, staring at the floating Crystal in the golden rune circle on the ground.

Blue, Carl, Grey, and Selena were still in an enlightened state. Unaware of the outside world.

Cross let out a breath and smiled, perhaps this would be the last time he saw them. Betrayal of the Divine Tree was a death sentence.

He closed his eyes, the only regret he has is that he wouldn't be able to see Luna one more time.

The beautiful voice sounded once more "Poor child... You have sinned, do you accept punishment?" Cross responded "Yes." but added "If possible can I transfer my power to my lover before I die?" the beautiful voice replied "My child, I shall fulfill your wish if you do happen to perish."

Cross let out a breath and the beautiful voice rang once more "Descendant of the Champion Clotho, prepare for punishment!" the voice turned cold an unfeeling as it continued "Sinner of the Tree! Death is a luxury, Life is a privilege! Repent!"

A black-gold pillar of energy fell from the ceiling and landed on Cross' head.

Cross immediately screeched at the top of his lungs in pain, the Room of Requirement seemed to already know and made the room soundproof. It also allowed the energy pillar to travel into the castle as if it already knew what would happen.

Cross didn't get to witness the strange occurrence or he would have been shocked. The castle... it seemed to be alive?

Cross spasmed in pain, writhing on the ground as his voice turned hoarse from all the screaming, blood seeping from each of his pores... but there seemed to be something strange.. inside the blood there were hints of black goo..

The energy pillar split 5 slivers off and sank into the crystal, Carl, Blue, Grey, and Selena as the rest continuously fell on Cross' entire body.

All of Cross' clothes burned away, revealing his bloodied body. His black marks glowed, seemingly getting darker and darker as Cross slowly lost his voice and laid on the ground, not moving at all.

Time passed and the pillar didn't dissipate

Finally on the second week the pillar disappeared and the beautiful voice sounded in the room with a tired sigh "I can only help you so much, my child... You must hurry... My lifeforce weakens with every minute... Castle of 'Him'.. Thank you..." before disappearing completely as a drop of extremely bright green crystal like fluid fell onto Cross' body, sinking into his chest.

Cross made no movements, whether he was dead or alive was currently unknown.
