61 The Wedding

Night rolled around

Cross was sitting at a table drink wine from a glass with a small smile. Though if you looked closely his hand was trembling and he was sweating bullets. He didn't expect Xenophilius to be here.

Nevertheless, he was.

Currently, Luna was talking to him not far away from the table. She showed him the ring and Xenophilius' eyes bulged out looking at it.

Cross watched as Luna smiled and talked to her dad, then he saw Xenophilius calm down with a small happy smile. Luna smiled happily then spoke again, Cross saw Xenophilius' eyes widen in shock before an enraged expression appeared on his face as he glared at Cross.

Cross was holding the wine glass in his hand and his hand was shaking so bad, wine spilled out from it. He was still smiling but only he knew that his face was frozen from fear and anxiety, Luna held her dad back and explained with a smile, Xenophilius was still extremely angry and marched over to the table where Cross was 'drinking'.

More like feeding the table and ground. Strangely there was no wine on his clothes.

Xenophilius shouted "You knocked up my daughter?!" Cross crushed the glass in his hand in fright and said with a stutter "Y-You know, being angry is very bad for your health!" Xenophilius almost beat the shit out of him as he snarled "You are bad for my health!"

Cross coughed and finally sighed as he said "What do you want me to do? It was an accident, a happy little accident. I'm happy, aren't you? Babies ward off Nargles." Xenophilius almost punched him in the face and said angrily "Impregnating my daughter was an accident?!"

Cross jumped and said "What? Don't put words in my mouth, man. I just forgot to sterilize myself the last few times." Xenophilius seemed to get angrier as he grabbed Cross and shook him saying "The last few times?! There's been times before then?!"

Cross realized he misspoke and coughed as he said seriously "Of course not. I reproduce asexually." Xenophilius was stunned and Hermione chimed "Then you would be pregnant not Luna. Plus only plants and some insects reproduce asexually." Cross coughed again and corrected "Did I say asexual? I meant I haven't touched your daughter, she's still a virgin and she was blessed to birth the son of god."

Xenophilius shook Cross angrily and shouted "This isn't muggle religion, boy!" Cross looked around and everybody looked away, seemingly having no intentions to help. Cross cursed these bastards, how many times has he saved their lives!?

Cross sighed and said "I knocked her up, what do we do now?" Xenophilius glared at Cross before letting him go and sitting down with a sigh, Cross smoothed out his shirt and heard a disappointed sigh from the audience.

He clicked his tongue and waved, a breeze turning the people around.

Luna sat at the table, notably next to Cross, as she held his hand tightly. She was quite nervous herself, Cross squeezed her hand and smiled calmly, Luna smiled gently, slightly relaxing.

Xenophilius looked at the duo and sighed again, he seemed to have gotten older as he said "They really do grow up fast.." Luna felt her eyes twitch and Xenophilius gave Cross a hard look as he said "If you hurt my little girl I will kill you. I don't care if you're the last Elf or whatever. I will extinguish a race if I have to."

Cross nodded and said "Which eye of yours seeing me treating her bad?" Luna smiled sweetly and Xenophilius pointed at his right eye as he said "The one that saw you knock her up!" Cross retorted "Hey! If you don't want to be a grandfather, then that's fine! I will enjoy the love from my kids, alone!"

Xenophilius gasped and said "You wouldn't dare! I want to see my grandkids too!" Cross sneered and said "Yeah, we'll see if we have time to visit." Xenophilius grabbed Cross and shook him saying "If I don't see my grandkids, I'll beat you to death! Do you believe it?!"

Cross dug out his ear and said "Hmm, did I hear something?" Xenophilius was incensed and the two started arguing about visiting times instead of how Luna was pregnant.

Luna watched from the side and giggled as they argued, she felt sweet on the inside and rubbed her stomach lovingly, even though there was not even a bump yet.

Cross and Xenophilius continued to argue and Cross said angrily "Do you want a drink?!" Xenophilius snorted and returned with anger of his own "Sure!" Cross poured two glasses of win and said "Here you go then!" Xenophilius snatched the glass and said "Thanks!"

Cross scoffed and said "No problem!" before drinking from his drink... Angrily.

Luna burst out laughing at their exchanges and the wedding party continued.

A while later

Cross was pretty drunk and his clothes reflected that, his tie was loose, his top buttons were undone, his sleeves were rolled up, and his suit jacket was gone. He waved his fist and shouted "Which one of you bastards wants to fight the champ?!"

Sirius said with a slur "I'll beat ya, boy!" Cross slammed his elbow into the table and said "Big words from a puppy!" Sirius locked his hand with Cross' as he said "Coming from a little Elf boy?!" before they started arm wrestling.

A bunch of drunk guys cheered and started betting money on the winner, Fred and George started collecting bets and shouting "Place your bets! Elf boy or the dog?!" Ron watched with Harry with a blush on his face as he said "I reckon Cross'll win." Harry shook his head as he mumbled "Sirius has those dog muscles."

Ron nudged Harry and said "Mate, I reckon your drunk, you are!" Harry made a 'pfft' sound and drank a glass of wine.

Suddenly a blue ball shot into the middle of the tent.

Everybody stopped and looked at the ball silently, Arthur waved his hand and the band quieted down as he had a serious expression on his face. The blue ball had a message as a voice said "The Ministry has fallen. The Minister of Magic is dead. They are coming... They are coming.." before disappearing.

Cross said "Huh. Sounds like foreshadowing to me." Luna rolled her eyes and everybody started panicking, running around and apparating away.

Black shadows flew into the tent and started creating chaos.

Cross drank his cup calmly as he looked around with a smile. He pointed at a Death Eater and said "I say, do you people just pop out of the ground? Avada Kadavra." The Death Eater fell to the ground dead and the rest stopped.

The people fled a good bit away and Cross stood up, cracking his neck as he said "The part was getting boring anyway~ Hehehe" invisible pressure landed on all the Death Eaters and Cross said with an ice cold grin "Perhaps Mr. Muggle hating moron sent you to your deaths? Because you have met the Reaper today."

Cross chuckled maliciously as he swiped his hand, strings tied up all the Death Eaters, slicing off their arms and legs and healing them so that they wouldn't die. The Death Eaters were terrified and Cross hopped over to them as he hummed "Eeny, meeny, miny, moe, Catch a tiger by the toe. If he hollers, let him go, Eeny, meeny, miny, moe." while pointing to a different Death Eater every time.

His finger landed on one and Cross giggled as he waved "Byebye~" the man's head exploded into brain matter and blood. The rest of the Death Eater's paled while the other guests trembled in fear backing away from the madman.

Cross was completely drunk and picked a few more, killing them as well. He suddenly stopped and snapped his fingers in regret as he said "Damn! I could've had a show! Oh, wait... Hmm maybe that'll work.."

Cross killed the Death Eaters, except for two. Green strings sewed arms and legs back on the Death Eaters before turning white and connection to Cross' finger tips. Cross laughed and said "The death game begins! Place your bets folks! This is a once in a lifetime opportunity!"

Cross moved his fingers and hands, controlling the Death Eaters like real puppets. The Death Eaters were finally terrified and realized that this man was far, far, worse than Voldemort. He was simply insane!

Cross laughed and made the two fight each other, casting Killing Curses and other spells or straight up fist fighting. One of the Death Eaters was a woman, while the other was a man. Cross got an idea and snickered to himself, they dropped their fists and the man started speaking "I can't do it, my love!"

The woman, uncontrollably wiped her eyes and said "But we must! Our love is forbidden!" The man got on one knee and said "But I cannot, you see, my love for you transcends worldly matters. Capulet, Montague, none of that matters as long as I am with you!"

The people who were still left were only the Weasleys and the Order, the rest had left in a panic. Even Harry, Ron, and Hermione had disappeared. Xenophilius and Luna were still there as well.

They all watched the reenactment, sort of disturbed but also with interest.

Cross kept controlling them and the woman sighed as she said "Romeo, our families will not allow it!" 'Romeo' replied "Then we'll run away! Anywhere with you is paradise!" the woman in the crowd 'Aww'd' while the guys felt their eye's twitch.

Cross drank more wine as he controlled them, The woman started crying and a giant hand took her away as she said "Romeo! You must run! My father will kill you! I cannot live without you, my love! You must live!" 'Romeo' fell to his knees as the woman was taken away slowly and he shouted "Juliet! Nooo!!"

Cross continued and in the end, Romeo made it through Juliet's residence only to find Juliet dead. He fell to his knees and cried before killing himself in grief, Juliet 'woke up' and saw Romeo's corpse before ending her own life.

Both, actual corpses, disappeared and two white balls of light spun around each other before merging and flying into the clouds disappearing.

The women wiped their eyes and clapped, the men sighed and clapped as well.

Cross stood up and bowed to the crowd, while Luna smiled sweetly looking at Cross. That was probably the most disturbing yet touching thing she had ever seen. Only Cross could do it.

Moody quipped "Yes, that's all well and good, but in case you've all forgotten. Those were Death Eaters! This place isn't safe, we need to move. Plus we have no idea where Potter is, and the Ministry has been compromised.

Cross giggled and hiccupped as he said to Amelia "Hey good thing you left the Ministry, eh?" Luna held him up and apologized to Amelia, who smiled and waved, not minding at all. Cross hiccupped and looked at Luna as he said "Hey beautiful! Wann- Hic! Wanna come to my room ton- Hic! tonight?"

Luna blushed in embarrassment and whispered "Honey, there's people here.." Cross scoffed and said "If they peep, I'll beat 'em up!" there were several coughing sounds and Xenophilius felt his anger rising, Cross looked at him and said "Yo, Crazy dad. Come over here!"

Luna coughed in shock and bit her lips looking at Cross, suppressing her laughter. Xenophilius was ready to beat Cross, as he walked over, rolling up his sleeves. Cross spread out his hands and 5 green strings came out as he said "I'm pretty sure this'll work..."

The 5 strings softly pierced into Xenophilius' mind, stunning everyone else as Xenophilius stopped walking. Luna was anxious and shouted "Cross! No! What if he becomes retarded!?"

Cross scoffed and said "As if my father-in-law will become retarded on my watch, trust me. I'm a pro!" Luna retorted angrily "You're also drunk!" Cross 'pfft' and continued healing Xenophilius mind, shushing Luna as he closed his eyes and focused.

Luna shut her mouth and bit at her nails anxiously, looking at her father.

A few minutes later

Cross took the strings back and said with a heavy slur as he swayed from side to side "How's that for a dowry?" before falling on his back and snoring. The group looked at him, then at Xenophilius, who blinked his eyes and looked around before saying "Hm. Well that was an experience." Luna hugged her dad and said "Are you okay?!"

Xenophilius smiled as he said "More than okay, little moon." Luna started to tear up and cried, he hadn't called her that since her mother died. Xenophilius rubbed her back and said "Little moon, maybe you should pick up your husband.. The floor isn't very comfortable.." he whispered "Would want any Garden Gnome getting him, now would we?"

Luna smiled brightly and nodded as she skipped over, picked up Cross and skipped back to the house. Xenophilius smiled warmly and followed along as the rest of the group went inside after being shocked.

Just how strong was this Elf boy!?
