154 Speaking the language of Monkeys

The finals came and Cross stood across from Long Chen. They narrowed their eyes and dropped their swords, the second the sword hit the ground they met in the middle.

'PAK'

Cross and Long Chen's right palms were on the other's face. Cross sighed and said "I can't believe this." Long Chen smirked and said "It's an Art." Cross took out a book and came next to Long Chen showing him the book as he said "I have one too! You see, if you turn the wrist like this it creates a different effect."

Long Chen pointed to one of them and said "This one... Try tilting a bit, maybe like 14 degrees." Cross slapped his thigh and said "I knew it was missing something!" Long Chen gasped and said "You have this one?!" Cross smirked and said "Jealous? I had to test it on a thousand people. 999 of them were a success. The last one was just unlucky."

The Examiner shouted "WHAT ARE YOU TWO DOING?!" Cross looked up and said "Oh. Uhh.... I give up. Are there any teachers here at the moment?" the Examiner shouted "I'm a teacher!" Cross took the sword and beat the shit out of him before saying "Not there's 2 teaching spots! Thanks!"

Cross dusted off his hands and walked to Long Chen. They were interrupted by an irritating voice "You're the two boys who caused a ruckus in the examination. I like it, come with me." Long Chen and Cross looked over before retching, Long Chen said "Sorry, I like women." Cross spat on the ground and said in disgust "Aren't you embarrassed being so ugly? Plus I have wives already, even if I didn't I like women, even if I didn't I would rather kill myself than go anywhere near you."

Long Chen laughed and the thing ugly man trembled in anger, a few women walked in and Cross wasn't finished as he added "Honestly! Why are you still here? Are you trying to disgust me to death? You're very close! I hope the man you end up with is blind or you'll be a widow before the wedding date!"

The women that just walked in burst into laughter, Long Chen nudged him and said "Aiyo, you're talking to a monkey. He can't understand you." Cross looked as though he was enlightened and said "Damn! Let me try again." he looked at the man and said "Ou Ou Ah AH AH!"

The man was so angry he threw up a mouthful of blood, while Long Chen burst into laughter and bend over, holding his waist. The women fell to the ground, laughing so hard they started crying, the leader of the women pursed her lips trying not to laugh.

The thin monkey man lunged at Cross, who slapped him into the wall before saying angrily "You fucking monkey! What if you have a disease?!" he took out water and started washing his hands, as the entire room burst into laughter.

The woman walked over and said to the two "You both have a lot of skill!" a sneer was heard "The great Mu Qingyun will flatter a man. So you have no confidence in the competition? How ridiculous!"

The group looked over to see a man walk in holding a fan over his face. Cross' eyes widened and the man sneered, thinking Cross knew who he was, but his words made his face turn black "There's gigolo at this school?!"

Long Chen spat "What gigolo?" Cross looked at him as if he was dumb and said "That guy. Not so handsome but he holds a fan. Obviously this is a gigolo!" Long Chen said "Why is he a gigolo? A lot of people have fans." Cross shook his head and said seriously "Where I'm from only courtesans use fans, males that use fans are gigolos!"

He sighed and said "I knew this was a courtesan school. The exam was such a big red flag!" Mu Qingyun said "What are you talking about?" Cross looked at her and said "This is a cultivation world, what use is dancing and singing!? You have to kill to survive! You're not going to dance someone to death are you? Courtesans must have all talents to be great!"

Mu Qingyun's face was pitch black and Cross waved saying "I can't believe this!" Long Chen turned his head and chuckled. The man, who may or may not be a gigolo said "Kill him." a man shot towards Cross with his hand out to kill him.

Cross blurred and the sword in his hands disappeared but he never moved. The man fell to the ground face first... well he didn't have a head anymore so chest first? A few seconds later a head fell from the sky and landed on the man's corpse. The blade of the sword stabbed into the man's body and the head was stuck on the hilt of the sword, keeping the fierce expression.

The examination room was dead silent.

Cross smiled warmly, his hood flew off and revealed his face. He was extremely handsome, but everybody was thinking something else. A ruthless killer! He didn't even flinch! He even made a spectacle of the man's corpse!

Cross looked at the gigolo and said "You want me to die?" he chuckled and his tone changed to ice as he continued "There have been millions of people who wanted me dead. They're all in hell, you'll join them soon." before walking towards the gigolo with calm steps.

The gigolo backed off before releasing his pressure, Cross stopped to feel it and the gigolo thought he was scared and attacked. Cross was about to kill him when Mu Qingyun interfered "What are you doing! Bullying others." Cross said "Oi, big chested sister. You're in the way." Mu Qingyun was stunned and a loud shout was heard "Where are Cross and Long Chen!?"

Cross sighed and said "There goes the perfect chance to kill him. Why do women always get in the way!?" as he walked back to Long Chen's side and drank from his wine gourd in frustration. Mu Qingyun was startled, she tried to make a good impression... Seems like it had the opposite effect...

Cross sat down in a chair that appeared and patted Long Chen's arm as he said "Your turn." Long Chen chuckled and took a step forward. Cross leaned back in his chair and hummed as he drank, he even lit a cigarette and started smoking.

A crack opened above him and Yuanyuan fell out, landing in Cross' lap. Cross almost ate his cigarette in shock and said "What are you doing here, baby." Yuanyuan sat in Cross' lap and crossed her arms saying "I'm staying with daddy of course!"

Everyone was bewildered by the child that just fell out of the sky. Cross crushed his cigarette and pulled out a comb saying "You know it's dangerous here, Yuanyuan. How did you get here." as he combed her hair.

Yuanyuan smiled happily and said "Mama was sleeping and I snuck out!" Cross sighed and said "You little brat." but he had a gentle smile on his face. Mu Qingyun retreated as Long Chen took care of the problem, showing off his 'Full' name plate, apparently there were only 4 given out in history! Though Cross' shouldn't count because he just copied off Long Chen.

The old man left and the gigolo looked at Long Chen, but getting slapped as Long Chen said "What are you looking at?!" the gigolo fell to the ground and Yuanyuan clapped, giggling as she said "That uncle gave that gigolo a big slap! Hihihi~"

The gigolo coughed out blood being called a gigolo by a child, who shouldn't know what a gigolo was. The gigolo got up and left, Mu Qingyun smiled and Long Chen came back to near Cross and the other girls.

Mu Qingyun introduced herself and the other two girls, Zhong Ling, and Zhong Xiu. Apparently they were twins but they looked different. Long Chen smiled softly, thanking them and complimenting them a little.

Mu Qingyun said "Brother Long..." Long Chen said "Call me Third Brother, where I'm from they call me Long San." Cross said "You can call me, Lord Fifth, King, Most handsome in the universe, or God." Long Chen chuckled and Yuanyuan said "Lord Fifth?" Cross poked her nose and said "You have 4 mommies I'm the 5th being your daddy, so Lord Fifth." Yuanyuan held her cheeks and said "Yuanyuan is confused."

Cross sighed and said gloomily "You can just call me Cross then... I don't have a last name." Partially true, he was given a last name but when his body was reborn from nothing during his tribulation, his 'Greengrass' blood had been expelled with the impurities. Plus he hadn't seen Marcus or Alyssa at all, last he heard they disappeared and Hermione was dead.

Apparently she got hit by an Ark and exploded, oh well!

He finally realized her feelings for her but she was dead, what a shame!

Anyway!

Zhong Ling had a face full of worship and said "Third Brother! You're so awesome! Can you teach me to be strong like you?!" while Zhong Xiu teased Yuanyuan. Long Chen touched his nose in embarrassment and a loud booming voice was heard "Who is Long Chen and Cross?!"

Yuanyuan cried and buried into Cross' arms. Cross glared at the man above them and ice cold killing intent came out, the man was about to speak but choked and looked at Cross and Long Chen, he laughed and said "True warriors! Hahahaha!"

Cross covered Yuanyuan's ears and shouted "Shut up!" the man choked back his laugh and looked at the little girl in Cross' arms, she was trembling with tears in her eyes. He immediately felt guilty and lowered his voice saying "Hm. Sorry little girl. I'm nor a bad person, just very loud. You don't have to be scared."

Long Chen chuckled at the Elder's appearance, he took out a candy and offered it to Yuanyuan, who sniffed and rubbed her eyes, snatching the candy and eating it right away, as if he would take it back. Cross smiled and stroked Yuanyuan's head softly saying "Thank the nice Grandpa." the man choked and said "Grandpa!? No, no. Call me Uncle!"

Yuanyuan said politely "Thank you, nice Grandpa." though she was still a bit scared, the man almost spit out blood and said "Oi! Brat! What's the big idea calling me grandpa!?" Cross pursed his lips and said "If I call you uncle then she calls you grandpa, no? Unless you want me to call you brother."

The man was stumped and said "Then call me Big Brother than! You too!" as he pointed at Long Chen, who smirked. Cross and Long Chen said in unison "Big Brother." the man laughed and said "I'm Lei Xiao! Good to finally see fellow warriors! Plus, you both have Thunder in your bodies! What a great day! I only came back for supplies, next time I come back you must light your fires and we'll have a great drink together!"

Cross and Long Chen grinned and nodded. Lei Xiao left with a laugh and Yuanyuan held her chest and let out a breath saying "En. That scary grandpa left!" Cross chuckled and combed her hair gently as Zhong Xiu said "Waaaah! You two are brothers with God Lei! You're so lucky! You'll definitely have a good time in the future."

Cross chuckled and Long Chen shook his head saying "Actually, maybe the opposite. We share the same personality, if I use him for a backdoor, he will look down on me instead. In this world, we can't always think of relying on others. If we rely on others, we will fall down. If we depend on our parents, we should rely on ourselves. Yunyang smiled and waved, Long Chen smiled and greeted "Master Yunyang, I'll ask you give me advice." Cross smiled and nodded saying "What's up, old man." Mu Qingyun frowned and said "Cross!"

Yunyang laughed and patted her head saying "Little Yun, don't be upset. This is his Dao-Heart, even if it was the headmaster he would say the same thing. Am I right, Cross?" Cross grinned and Yunyang laughed as he added "I don't dare to advise you both. What I teach is Tao. You both are masters at War and Slaughter. You both have unique views on life, if possible I would rather receive advice! Hoho~"

Long Chen and Cross both rubbed their noses in embarrassment, this old man... So humble!
