176 Bai Xiaole

Cross and Long Chen were doing their own thing when all the inner court disciples were called to a meeting. Cross and Long Chen arrived and there was a sea of people, everybody smiled warmly to Cross and Long Chen in greeting, while Chu Yang was grinded his teeth so hard they almost bled.

Everybody saw the image stone of Chu Yang apologizing for slandering Cross, as well as Cross' righteous speech. They realized Cross must've been slandered this whole time! It was all a ploy to push people away from his classes!

Cross smiled happily and waved to the people as he made his way to the teacher's seats. Blowing kisses and waving to every person, until the Head of Law Enforcement Hall dragged him away with a weird but amused look on his face.

Long Chen chuckled and Yunyang called him up to the Heavenly Master Teacher's area, while Cross was dragged to the Vice-Head of Law Enforcement Seat and thrown into it. Cross and Long Chen looked at Yunyang and the Head of the Law Enforcement Hall weirdly, but the two didn't say anything just smirked.

Everyone who knew Cross and Long Chen were stunned, since when did these two changes happen? Bai Shishi was stunned as well, Luna tilted her head and smiled softly as she tapped her necklace and said "Honey, what are you doing?" Cross replied "Ehhh... I don't really know myself. This guy just dragged me here. Maybe he'll introduce me to his daughte- Ow! Fuck! Old man, you want me to become your son-in-law like this?!"

Luna turned off the necklace and rubbed her eyes in frustration. The other girls giggled, while Bai Shishi looked at Luna with a funny look on her face. Luna sighed and said "At least he's in a good mood today..." Jasmine felt her legs shake as she said "He should be... I'm tired as fuck."

A girl asked "Eh? Why?" Jasmine said "Where do you think we were for hours before this? I can barely stand." the girl's face reddened and Bai Shishi coughed, turning away with a blush.

An old man walked out from the stage and said "First of all, I'm the Vice-Dean of the Academy. As for my name, it's meaningless since none of you dare to even say it." Cross muttered "What a narcissistic guy..." The Head of the Law Enforcement Hall gave Cross a look and said "And you're not?" Cross replied "I'm the epitome of Humble!" the one armed man laughed before covering his face.

The old man looked at Cross and corrected "Maybe only one of you dares to say it..." he turned back to the students and said "Anyway, long story short, the Immortal Land is opening up again. According to the 6 Prefecture Alliance Treaty, All disciples of the 6 forces can enter. The Immortal Land is part of an ancient time, but for some reason the Terrans in it have disappeared and only left inheritances in it."

The old man coughed and continued "The Ancient texts in our Lingxiao Academy have been collected from there and they are provided for everyone to practice. Heavenly Master Long Chen's Starry River Sky Formula came from there as well."

The disciples started whispering and the old man cleared his throat before continuing "Anyway! After the Immortal Land was discovered, it was controlled by 9 forces. After so many years only 6 are left and they are not friendly to each other. So every time it opens up there will be a blood bath inside, killing, robbing treasures, it's the same as eating and breathing inside. However there are countless treasures inside, all of which are very attractive. If you harvest treasure inside, you can have it, sell it to the Academies, or exchange them for other treasures of corresponding value."

The old man looked at the students and continued seriously "Risk and reward come hand in hand! Only the fittest survive! Moreover, the 6 forces have agreed that whatever happens inside will not be chased after by the forces. Meaning that anybody who dies inside will not get any explanation. Which is why you must think of your decision t go or not, I will say that in previous years the Mortality Rate has been above 50% every time."

Bai Shishi said directly "Everyone of the Tiannu League will participate!" Cross said excitedly, licking his lips, "I want to go too!" everybody looked at him, there's wasn't any greed in his eyes only bloodthirst. The students were bewildered and Cross added "Oi! What are you looking at? Never seen a guy as handsome as me?" they all choked on their words and someone walked in saying "Bah! Bah! Who thinks they're more handsome than me?!"

Cross looked over at the man and sneered "A little boy like you? Go back and drink your mother's milk. How old are you to say you're more handsome than me? This daddy will give you a good spanking!" the boy pointed at Cross and shouted "You just call me ugly?!"

Cross was stunned and said "I say, boy are you deaf? When did I call you ugly?" Long Chen burst out laughing and the boy was like a mad dog as he pointed at Long Chen saying "You think I'm ugly too?!?!?" Long Chen choked and pointed at himself in confusion.

The boy said "That's it! I, your father, am the most handsome man here!" Bai Shishi rolled her eyes and brought her group away, obviously she knew this guy and wasn't dealing with him today. The girls all threw weird looks at the boy as they left.

The boy flashed to Long Chen, who returned a slap but the boy dodged. Cross and Long Chen gasped, the boy had his nose high up in the air as he said "Heh! Take my super-ultimate-mega move!" as he divided into 6 of him. Long Chen and Cross tilted their heads and Long Chen pointed, the 6 boys all shattered and one was revealed.

Long Chen said "Your talent is good, but your magic power is too hard to use, plus your control is trash. I advise you not to use such a big move so casually in the future, it's a double-edged sword. If you fuck it up, you'll kill yourself."

Cross added "Also, your space control is shit as well..." he drew a line with his finger in the air and stretched his hand through a crack. His hand appeared next to the boy and slapped him before going back through the crack, as it sealed itself up again.

The disciples were stunned and Yunyang said "What control!" The boy fell to his knees and said "Little Brother Bai Xiaole greets Big Brothers!" Cross and Long Chen were stunned, Long Chen said "Are you kidding? If you get guidance from a single Heavenly Master, your strength will increase by leaps and bounds!" before passing Xiaole and walking over to Luo Bing.

Bai Xiaole said "I admit defeat, if I go back on my words wouldn't I be a despicable person?" Long Chen rolled his eyes and said "Whatever you want." Bai Xiaole happily followed him, Long Chen said "Why are you following me?" Bai Xiaole said naturally "Little Brother follows Big Brother."

Cross stepped over and sat on a black lotus, hovering in the air as he said "You're Bai Xiaole? Then Bai Shishi..." Bai Xiaole replied "She's my sister." Long Chen and Cross opened their mouths in shock, Long Chen said "Since she's your sister, why are you following us instead?"

Bai Xiaole spat "She's a woman! I'm not going to follow a woman! Hey Boss, you know, I'm not too strong but I'm talented in space, so I can identify a person's strength. I know you're both super strong so I won't lose out having you as my Big Brothers."

Cross almost spat out a mouthful of blood, this guy! Long Chen shook his head and ignored him, talking to Luo Bing and Mu Qingyun about who was going to the Immortal Land. They chose 300 from the Carefree Alliance and 100 from the Luo Legion, they submitted their roster and left.

Cross demanded that he would be allowed to go, he called the Vice-Dean 'Old fart' until the Vice-Dean agreed to which Cross changed his name to 'Old Man'. He quickly left with a cheeky smile on his face as the Old man was fuming.

Cross flew out of the hall and blurred, disappearing into nothing.

He appeared in the Luo Base, Bai Xiaole's eyes turned and Cross flipped upside down, crashing head first into Luo Ning's chest. The room was silent, until Bai Xiaole burst out laughter. Cross just laid there and sighed in comfort, so soft! Luo Ning's face was completely red and she looked like she was about to cry as she smacked Cross' head saying "Big devil! Get off!" Cross jumped up and said seriously "How are you going to bring 400 people and survive?"

Luo Ning got up and sat down, looking at her fidgety hands and keeping silent. She looked like a cute tomato. Luo Bing looked serious and said "Stay in groups." Cross sat down and said "Hmmm." Long Chen looked at Xiaole and asked "You have the Legendary 3 flower pupil. Under the 4flowers, 6 changes are created, and Ghosts cry in surprise. You're so gifted?"

Bai Xiaole looked a little lost and said "When my mother was pregnant, she was seriously injured. As a result my pupil was born deficient. Even my grandfather was helpless. My 3 flower pupils couldn't be opened in this life, otherwise my sister wouldn't think I was a waste."

Long Chen hummed "Maybe I can help you... Later." Cross flashed over the table and grabbed Xiaole, opening his eyes with his fingers and looking at them carefully. He mumbled something before siting on his black lotus and writing in a book.

The rest started talking about the Immortal Land and Long Chen decided to take Bai Xiaole with him.

The days passed and tomorrow was the day that they were to set out to the Immortal Land.

Cross and Long Chen were talking about nothing in particular when they heard a bang outside, the two came out to see Xiaole getting chased by a big man. Long Chen flashed over and kicked that the big man, while Cross appeared behind him and punched at the man's head.

The man shouted "Get out of the way!" as he punched at Cross and Long Chen simultaneously. Cross and Long Chen summoned their Techniques. Cross hot a half crown and 6 black wings, while Long Chen got a ring behind his back and dragon scales on his hand.

Their fists collided with the man and all three were sent flying in different directions. Cross smashed into a building and blew it up, Long Chen was the same, but the man stopped just before. Cross shot towards the man, both his fists caught fire and he threw a heavy punch at the man as the alarms went off.

Long Chen followed up with a punch as well and the man used a bit more strength this time. Cross and Long Chen went flying and the man stumbled back a few steps. A bunch of men appeared in the air and saw the man, the tough words they were going to say were choked back into their throats before they said "Hall Master, why are you here!?"
