it has been a couple of months since Weiss and vergil were put in an arranged marriage and they kinda hit it off after the first week and are now in a proper relationship vergil was sitting under a tree reading a book when he heard an explosion and his curiosity peaked he went to go find out what happened what he saw was his fiance's stuff everywhere and a face he would never forget ruby rose sitting there as if she fell over he began to pick up his fiance's stuff and handing it to her
"thanks V" weiss said she didn't call him vergil anymore it was either V or ace he liked that she thought their relationship went far enough for her to start using nicknames for him
"not at all my snowflake" vergil said with a smile she smiled back
"uh do you two know each other" ruby asked
"no we are just making random nicknames up for people we just met you dunce" Weiss said sarcastically
"now Weiss be nice she knows nothing about us" vergil said Weiss looked into vergil's eyes and she saw pain she had only seen it once before when he told her about his past she now understood he was trying to get far away from her and quickly but she was furious that someone would harm hubby she kept it in check and hid it well
"this is my fiance Weiss schnee heiress to the schnee dust company" vergil said
"the same company infamous for its controversial labor forces and questionable business partners" a girl said
"and i see you have not realized all of the changes that the schnee dust company has been going through or that those shady business partners are disappearing
"and who are you" the girl with the bow said she was now aggravated
"I am vergil ace evolt heir to ORB industries and the chief coordinator of the faunus equality movement the hand of hope" vergil said and then he leaned right next to one of the cat eats behind her bow that he knew were there
"as well as the archmage" vergil whispered in her ear he leaned back she just stared at him with a shocked expression
"did I pick everything up my snowflake" vergil asked
"yes I believe you did" Weiss said
"Jerome if you would" vergil said he had brought his personal butler with him since jerome and evolt were the two people he trusted most he hadn't fully trusted Weiss yet jerome took Weiss's suitcase and walked off Weiss put her arm around mine and we walked to the ballroom and soon ozpin arrives with goodwitch
"ahem... ill keep this brief you have traveled here today in search of knowledge to hone your craft and acquire new skills and when you have finished you plan to dedicate your life to the protection of people" ozpin said
"or your dragged here by your fiance" vergil muttered getting a glare from Weiss which he just ignored
"but I look among you and all I see is wasted energy in need of purpose and direction you assume knowledge will free you of this but your time at this school will only prove that knowledge will only get you so far it's up to you to take the first step" ozpin said
"I already did ten years ago but no one will pay attention to that" vergil said earning another glare from Weiss which he yet again ignored
"you will be staying here in the ballroom tonight and tomorrow your initiation begins be ready" Goodwitch said and with that they walked off the stage
"come my snowflake I would prefer to sleep under the stars tonight" vergil said
"I can agree to that my hubby" Weiss said smiling she got over my previous comments I smiled and we found a nice tree to sleep under it was a quiet night too
the next we were all standing on platforms and vergil quickly realized ozpins plan as he was giving his long speech that was vergil was barely listening too
"griffon" vergil called a giant bird popped out of vergils body and landed on vergils out stretched arm
"you need me boss" griffon said
"I will need your wings" vergil said the bird nodded everyone was now staring at him as ozpin began to launch one after the other he launched Weiss then me i used griffon to glide down to the forest floor
"I need directions" vergil said griffon flew up and looked around he soon returned and pointed to the direction they were going before returning to vergils body vergil began to walk in that direction with his hand on yamato ready to cut down anything in his path eventually after cutting down Grimm after Grimm he reached the temple but he had no partner so he waited eventually a dude with a driver appeared answering his guess that other riders exist he untransformed and walked up
"i take it your a rider too" vergil said
"yeah kamen rider blade you" he asked
"kamen rider evolt although I only use the evolt driver either when I am loosing or when I am very angry generally I don't need that power by the way names vergil" vergil said
"call me tom" tom said
"now that we are partners I will pick this piece lets head back we have no need to stick around" vergil said grabbing a piece he then watched as a nevermore he would not have interfered except he saw Weiss
"formation equip water style tirion dragon of harmony" vergil said drawing the water armor set and equipping it unfolding his wings and flying down frostmourne he then cut the nevermore clean in two before picking up his snowflake and heading back to the mountain with her in a princess carry once he landed he set her down
they were all back in the ballroom as ozpin was putting teams together
"vergil evolt thomas Ferguson Alexis allison and kathryn forest you four obtained the black and white king piece so from this day forward you will be known as team VATK (pronounced V attack) led by vergil evolt who also goes by the name sora rose" ozpin said the moment vergil heard that he was A furious and B scared he drew his transteam gun that he again never used aimed it at ozpin pulled the trigger it fired around unfortunately vergil was not aiming so he missed he ran to Weiss pulled the trigger again and swiped this time it was steam that came out of the barrel the moment it cleared both Weiss and vergil were gone leaving everyone shocked and confused including ozpin the kid was angry but ozpin also saw in his eyes that he was scared
