4 CHAPTER 4: SHIP IN THE WOODS

ALLEN: .....act like a normal person Rex, I know it's going to be a little tough for you but remember that you have a high adaptive power and hypersensitivity. We'll be checking on you from time to time to know how you are faring.

He goes out of the ship, wandering in the woods, he spots some people but didn't let them see him. He keeps doing that everyday and sometimes makes the ship invisible and intangible to prevent unwanted attraction from people.

At the city's ICT center, Delyth her colleagues are busy on their computers, it's a big building with 4 floors. The last floor was the administrative floor for pros only and no Newbie or Amateurs were allowed to reach that floor except when called for. Luckily for Delyth she was already a professional at 18 unlike most of them who were already in their late 30s and 40s. She was part of the ICT top officials of Country Z and Xena as a whole and she was like a thorn on the flesh of her competitors.

As she worked a lady in her early 20s walked up to her
GALEN: Miss Delyth...
DELYTH: (Doesn't look up) Yes!
GALEN: You have visitors.
DELYTH: (Eyes still glued to her screen) from where?
GALEN: Xiria!
DELYTH: (stops and looks at Galen for the first time) Where are they?
GALEN: Come with me to the first floor.
(She stands up and follows Galen to the first floor).
As they get closer she takes sight of IO Xiria's tech wizard and her assistant.
DELYTH: (sarcastic as she claps) Well, well, well! Who do we have here?(stretches her for a handshake which was turned down by IO)
IO: You crazy little brat!
DELYTH: (carefreely) Mind your choice of words..... you're in my territory now!
IO: Doesn't matter, I know you were the one behind the altering of my system!
DELYTH: (Still acting carefree) And what if I was?!
IO: Ha! You sound bold, but I'll like to tell you to back off or It might not be rosey afterwards.
DELYTH: If I backed off years ago I wouldn't be here today. We all know that!
IO: Then I hope you can handle the heat when it comes dear?
DELYTH: Sure I will! (smirks)
IO: Have a frustrating day loser!
DELYTH: (chuckles) you too!
Later that day after work hours still at the ICT building.
Ivan sees Delyth as he enters the building and works towards her.
IVAN: Hi!
DELYTH: (smiling) Ivan, hi! What are you doing here? You should be in practice by now...!
IVAN: I know I decided to take a day off.
DELYTH: A day off won't change anything right?
IVAN: Yeah! Err... Have you thought of finding out about the occupant of that ship?
DYLYTH: Not yet... But maybe we should check it now!
IVAN: Good idea!
DELYTH: Come with me...
They entered an elevator up to the last floor
DELYTH: (Moves towards her computer) Let me see wat I can find. (she boots her computer and then began typing)
IVAN: How was work today?
DELYTH: Boring as usual no much competition!
IVAN: You are really good and should know that it's going to be a difficult to find a competitor
DELYTH: Yeah! (laughs) it's more like my superpower
IVAN: Yeah! (laughs)
2 MINUTES LATER
DELYTH: Look what I found...
IVAN: (moves closer) it seems the occupant was more than one.
DELYTH: They are two actually and my findings shows that they are modified soldiers from LAB R, they are called Deine Twins....Level 3 Deines to be precise.
IVAN: LAB R?
DELYTH: Yes, and in their last conversation with Altos, they were instructed to kill Rex and bring back the Royal Spaceship to City X. They have millions of wireless microprocessors in their brain that enables them to send and receive communication signals from Xena to Earth. Check out their upgraded features

IN THE LAB
Delyth and Ivan are seen in the lab with Dr. Dorothea Kt's mum and her assistant Aldea. They are in the DNA lab which consists of all the DNA samples of every child born in Zarrgh.
DR DOROTHEA: Rex's case is complicated. From the best we could find out from his DNA sample, we can denote his body is made up of Biochemical Constructs also known as Aites; they intuitively enhance his body most notably. They react very quickly to catastrophic injury, rebuilding damaged tissues.
IVAN: Just like the South Jureans! How's that even possible?
DR DOROTHEA: I've not seen such before throughout my generation, I'm as surprised as you are.
DELYTH: So... Those are in his blood?
ALDEA: They are... His blood!
DR. DOROTHEA: Here is a video of what I mean. (she points to a big screen as she brings up the video through a tablet in her hand)
IVAN: (amazed) Whoooa! Cool! Meaning he's just like me.
DR. DOROTHEA: Just like our own bodies need calories, the Aites needs their own energy. Thus the more effort they make the more energy they consume. Lucky for him his body regenerates that energy....
THE ROYAL PALACE
Delyth and Ivan entered into the palace accompanied by two guards. They bowed when they reached the Queen
ELLEN: What were your findings?
IVAN: (hands a tablet to her) that was what we found!
IRIS: No wonder he never bled...
IVAN: Yes, because he never had blood
IRIS: I saw that once when he had a cut on his elbow, I was amazed when I saw it but didn't bother telling him since he didn't notice.
EARTH
IN THE WOODS 5:30PM
6 teenagers were offloading their camping materials and preparing for their two days camping experience.
They worked quickly and in half an hour they were done and set for their camping.
JACE: (to Jayden) Hey do you mind if we take a walk?
JAYDEN: Don't you think they'll like to come?
JACE: Naaah! They won't!
JAYDEN: (to the others) 'Guys, I and Jace are going for a walk we'll be back soon
KAREN: Am coming with you!
JANE: Me too!
JAYDEN: (looks at Jace) See!
JACE: Hey Aaron what about you and Ana?
AARON : (waves off ) Naah! We'll stay here and prepare dinner
JACE : K..
JAYDEN: (demonstrating to leave) Shall we??
KAREN: Oh yeah!
They chatted noisily as they moved. Karen who was ahead of em spotted the ship and called on the others who were a bit far from her.
KAREN: Guys, guys come ov'r here. Come see something that'll blow your mind.
The others ran towards her and were marvelled at the sight of a spaceship
JACE: (exclaims) Jesus!
JANE: What the F!
JAYDEN: No, no way, (laughs) am dreaming right?...
