19 CHAPTER 19: UNBREAKABLE
KIM EVA: You should've let me hit at least once,
JOSH: and get into trouble?
KIM EVA: She spat on me! She fucking spat on me and you expect me to leave her?
JOSH: Even if you must forget anything, you shouldn't forget she's a member of the Order Council.
KIM EVA: (Whimpers) I don't give a crap but I swear she's gonna pay peradventure she crosses my path again I swear she'll regret ever knowing me in this life and if perhaps we end up in detention we'll continue our fight there.
REX: I'm sorry.
KIM EVA: Sorry for what?
REX: you almost got into a fight with her because of me.
KIM EVA: I don't mind repeating it again and again, she needs to be kept in her space. (She leaves)
REX: Do you have any idea where she's going?
JOSH: To the gym I suppose, she needs to release!
REX: Then what happens afterwards?
JOSH: She goes back to her room. That's what she does when she needs to release her anger.

Kim punched the bag like she was actually in a real fight with someone, as she punched hard she cried her heart out.
Josh and Rex watched her silently from the transparent glass outside.
JOSH: See?
REX: She looks pathetic!
JOSH: Yh! I feel sorry for that poor bag.
REX: Imagine if she got into a fight with Olivia....
JOSH: I bet she would have ripped her apart.... We should leave her.
REX: Hm.
After 20 minutes of non-stop punching, Kim stops and falls to the ground totally drained. She stays there till she steadies her breadth after 10 minutes.
2 WEEKS LATER
4:00 PM
Rex is in his room shirtless when Sylvia walks in. He sees her reflection from the mirror he stood in front of and was startled acting like he was caught in an illegal act, he quickly grabs his shirt wears it before turning round to face her.
SYLVIA: (Laughs)
REX: W.... what's amusing you?
SYLVIA: (Still laughing) your reaction is funny can't you see?
REX: You should have just knocked,
SYLVIA: the door was already open I guess the last person to leave the room didn't close it well. (Lowers her tune) By the way I'd love to see you without the shirt!
REX: Sorry?.... I didn't get you come again,
SYLVIA: Thank God you heard nothing! (Walks up to Rex's table as he joins her)
SYLVIA: Here! Check this. (Hands her book over to him) I tried deriving an easier formula to solve the problems I was working on alone.
REX: (Takes the book and studies it) Hmm....not bad!
SYLVIA: So....?
REX: Your formula is limited to solving only less complicated problems. Check out this one... (He writes a different formula) Try this one with a more complicated problem.
SYLVIA: K, I'm waiting,
REX: You pick five random questions from the text book.
SYLVIA: I insist!
REX: Alright.
He points out 5 random questions and she begins to work. As she worked he looked for a way to distract her so he decided to cut the rubber bands that held her wavy hair together making the hair to flow freely.
REX: Looks like your hair band just got cut!
SYLVIA: Thank God I came with extra rubber bands just in case. (She rearranges the hair and tied it again) This should be better.
30 SECONDS LATER
He cut the rubber bands again
SYLVIA: Oh not again! Do you have any rubber bands? I'm out of rubber bands.
REX: Nope! I don't, you should just leave it like this, it's better off this way.
SYLVIA: I'll have to leave it this way for now till I get back to the girls' dorm.
Rex tried to play cool and tried to stop himself from staring at her hard but he realized he was only punishing himself. He couldn't even realize when Sylvia finished.
SYLVIA: ....hey! (Waving her palms across his face to draw his attention) Rex!
REX: (Jolts back to reality) s....sorry...
SYLVIA: It's okay, I'm getting used to it. You shouldn't try this around my boyfriend, he gets easily pissed. I'm done.
REX: (Studies her work closely) You learn fast!
SYLVIA: (Smiles) I'll take that as a compliment.
REX: You're good to go!
SYLVIA: The credit goes to you, you're extraordinarily smart.
REX: It is a combination of efforts. (Smiles) This might be the last time we can be this close alone again.
SYLVIA: (Teasingly) You sound like you are gonna miss me, mind hanging out with me sometime?
REX: Not a bad idea! (shrugs and pouts)
SYLVIA: I should leave now,
REX: k... Bye... (Ruffles his hair)
SYLVIA: (Walks by to the door and stops before turning) Can I see your phone?
REX: Sure! (He dips his hand into his pocket and brings out his phone) Here!
SYLVIA: (Takes it and types some digits before giving it back to him) Bye!
As she's about leaving her phone rings, she looks at it in her hand, she turns to face him.
REX: I just wanted to be sure you didn't prank me.
Sylvia walked back towards him, she was so close there was no gap between them.
SYLVIA: (Subtle) Do still mind learning you how to kiss?
REX: Are you being serious right now?
SYLVIA: If you're, then I am.
REX: I am!
She stands on her toes in order to be able to reach Rex's lips while he lowers his own head to reduce the stress on her side since he was of the greater advantage in height.
The kiss was slow and stayed for roughly half a minute.
SYLVIA: (Breaks) Whow!
REX: What's wrong? Did I do it wrongly?
SYLVIA: (Sheepish grin) No, we just have a little problem... (Looks down at his waist region) Someone else is interfering...
(Rex follows her eyes and sees the bulge in his trousers, he quickly takes a book to cover himself and turned to face his dresser which made Sylvia smile)
SYLVIA: You just have to readjust down there,
REX: absolutely!
(She giggles as she leaves)
Still standing, his phone buzzed. It was a message from Kim.
Kim: "meet me at the basketball court"
He picks up his jacket and leaves the room.

REX: Hi,
KIM EVA: hi.
REX: It's cold out here,
KIM EVA: yeah.
REX: But I don't see any jacket on you.
KIM EVA: I felt I might not need it.
REX: Weelll... Good thing I brought mine. (Places the jacket on her shoulder)
KIM EVA: Thanks.
REX: You wanted to see me?
KIM EVA: Yh, I wanted to talk.
REX: Ok! Glad I don't suck at listening to people... (chuckles) what is it?
KIM EVA: Do you think I might be broken?
REX: Not at all, why?
KIM EVA: 'Cause of what transpired between I and Olivia earlier today.
REX: Look, you did what every good person would do just to prevent anything that'll hurt his or her friend later in the future.
KIM EVA: You think so?
REX: I know so! You are the coolest, craziest person I've met with a high personality.
KIM EVA: She mocked me about being weak just because I couldn't fight to preserve what was mine before she snatched him from me.
REX: It's rather reasonable than foolish don't you think so?
KIM EVA: I know that, and that is why I let it slide and moved on.
REX: You should cheer up and be that ever worriless Kim everyone know, that high spirited Kim; you can never be broken so dont let anyone break you because, you're unbreakable.
KIM EVA: (Hugs him) Thank you so much, you're the best!
REX: (Uncomfortable) Ahem! Er... I don't really think it is a good idea...
KIM EVA: What's wrong with it?
REX: As wierd as it may sound I'm really not conversant with hugging.
KIM EVA: (Pulls out) Are you kidding me?
REX: I'm actually saying the truth.
KIM EVA: Too bad you should learn! (Resumes hugging him)

After Rex left Kim, he was moving towards his room when his phone rang.
REX: Hello...?
JAX: "Rex, I need you to come to my room right now there's something you need to see"
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
(KNOCK)
JAX: Come in!
REX: (Opens the door) Hey,
JAX: check this out! (Gives Rex his phone)
REX: (Looking at the screen closely with uncertainty)
JAX: You should know who's the girl in that clip.
REX: She looks like Sylvia,
JAX: that's because it's her!
REX: They seem to be arguing about something,
JAX: I'll tell you. After she left your room today, he saw her just before she could follow the back door out and looked really angry, I felt it might be an important scene so I had to record a video of them without being detectable. He kept yelling at the top of his voice while she tried defending herself saying she only come to your room for lesson and that was all, but kept giving reasons why she shouldn't come close to you reminding her of their shitty promise.
REX: (Awed) He even hit her!
JAX: Yep and in no time soon he'll come looking for you.
