20 Wrath

As soon she said this she felt the air grow cold, and saw the the tiger cub's calm face into that of a furious asura. His golden eyes gleamed ruthlessly as he looked at her like she was already dead.

"IMPUDENT! You wish to enslave me?! In my whole life I, TYRANT HADES, have submitted to NO ONE, and that will NOT change now! Even though my strength is not what it used to be, it's more than enough to kill both of you! You're not qualified to enslave me, your witchcraft will be NOTHING before my claws! I'll GOUGE out your eyes and DEVOUR your bloody heart from your still living body as you cry for mercy!!!" In his rage, his tyrannical nature rolled out like category 4 hurricane. Vicious lines built from his insulted dignity fell viciously upon the dauntless creatures who dared to think they could take him for a slave.

Chen Yan winced and couldn't help but back up several steps as she felt the tyrannical aura ripple out the soul she was listening to, her own soul trembled at the power the tiger soul exerted. Her ears grated from the reverberating roar that flowed out the tiger's physical body, while the ruthless words from his soul made her turn several shades paler. She realized that she had offended this mighty little tiger, and have incurred his fury. The killing intent heavy in the air like fog told her that the tiger was no longer holding back.

Her sister too, was shaking in fear at the tiger's roar as she covered her head in fright; and even though she could not hear listen to his soul like her sister, she could still feel the wrath and irrepressible dignity laced in the voice.

She was just watching the exchange of the tiger's growls and her sister's silent stare, as they were communicating through the soul, when she saw the tiger cub's cute face twist like crumpled paper.

She watched dagger like claws several centimeters long extend from his paws, and fangs that still had a hint of blood from an earlier meal that gleamed in the lamp light. The whip like serpent tail lashed about with the blade fully extended like an ancient sword dance.

There was no mercy this time, the fierce, devil like tiger cub that was no more than 20 centimeters tall, yet looked like a giant with it's aura and intimidating blades, threw itself at Chen Yan with savagery rarely seen in this tame world. She blocked the razor sharp claws with her harp again, surprising sinking into her weapon, making her wince, as it was bound to her soul, and with no time to say anything the sword whip lashed toward her throat at a speed like a serpents strike.

She ducked low, barely evading the blade that instead severed several long strands of hair. She immediately retreated out the door and into the narrow hallway outside the room. In the process she plucked her crystal harp, unleashing the seven soul notes she was so proud of.

Indistinct ripples of red and orange sound waves echoed through the hallway, even more concentrated due to it's narrow nature.

The tiger, which closely pursued her on it's beastly instinct, grew noticeably sluggish at the sound wave's power. It not only reached his ears, but attacked his soul. Fortunately the tiger had no idea how to protect it's soul, so the effect was big.

But that didn't meant the tiger would stop.

The sword tail, the tiger's most efficient weapon in this world, was long, sharp, deadly, and his most efficient weapon in this world. He didn't use it much during his battle with Pluto as it was not as strong as his claws and fangs, and would not do much damage, and it was focused primarily to aid on his maneuvering and balance in the sea and sky to avoid Pluto's powerful, yet accurate blows.

But now, where the opponents were many and their hides weak, made it very efficient. The speed could strike multiple enemies he couldn't with only 2 claws and and was more than sharp enough to sever their necks, pierce their hearts, gouge their eyes, and slit their throats; similar to the fate of the wolves from before.

Even now, despite the soul notes making the tiger too sluggish to to keep up with her, the tail relentlessly extended past his claws to pursue Chen Yan. Her familiarity with the environment made it easier for her to barely evade or block the cold blade, but she had suffered several cuts and gashes in the process of guarding her vital points. Throat, heart, eyes, knees, lungs. The tiger tirelessly and accurately pierced toward each of these areas with no sign or rest.

She didn't think she could hold on any longer as she got more and more cuts. She wanted to ask the tiger to spare her sister. She wanted to tell her sister that she was sorry for getting herself killed like this. Unfortunately she could not spare any effort to soul communication under the relentless assault of the ruthless tiger cub.

But the pitter-patter of small feet suddenly rang clearly through the hall into her ears, and Chen Yan's face turned pale as an empty canvas.

'No! Why is she coming here?! Why didn't she leave through her window?!' She wanted to stop her, to push away the tiger or lead it away, but she was helpless to retaliate, and could only barely defend herself with everything she had.

She then made the resolve to sacrifice herself to tell her sister to leave, while she would hold back the tiger long enough for her escape.

But as soon as she made that resolution, the attacks suddenly stopped, and the air grew still like an empty room. She looked before herself in fear and shock as a scene she did not expect nor want took place before her eyes.

To her horror, her sister had run out her room, toward the battle, and embraced the tiger.
