1 The Night Angel Flames Died
A teen boy with scarlet hair and red eyes named David sits in a classroom as a teacher drawls on about the wars between Zubadia and Eartheia. The boy begins to think on this when the room shacks like there was an earthquake. Darkness crawls across his view as he fell to the floor. The impact causing a streak of white flames to run across his view.
David opened his eyes with cold sweat rolling down his face as he faced the ceiling. He rolled over thinking about that bizarre dream as he grabbed the 'clean enough' towel from the floor. He dried off his face as a loud ππππ issued from the floor below. Causing his head to ram into his bedside table. After a second of pain and thinking he realized a possibility that made a chill go down his spine, alerting his mind to the terror at hand, ππ©π¦ ππ’π―π₯ π°π§ ππ¦π’π΄ πͺπ΄ πͺπ―π·π’π₯πͺπ―π¨.
David rushed out of his bed; mind racing as he ran across his room. He opens the door to the hall as another loud ππππ came from downstairs, Slamming him into the door across from him. The door slams open practically thrown off its hinges, causing David to crash onto the floor of his little sister's room. David's little sister named Ruby slowly and groggily sits up on her bed.
David fights through the pain as he gets up and struggles out, "The Land of Seas, attacking, we need, to hide."
Ruby franticly gets down from her bed, as her tired mind tried to figure out what was going on. David gets up moving to the halls dragging her to a picture of their mother terrified for him and his sister; hoping they could get to the safe room in time. He goes to touch his mother's eyes trying to get to as a ππππsounds and the floor breaks, he jumps out of the way towards the stairs, this time prepared, stepping to the side but he slips, falling down the nearby staircase. He managed to coil around ruby protecting Ruby as much as he could.
He rolled onto the lower floor, body aching as he opened his eyes to see his father covered in dark flames, fist pulled back ready to kill David's mother; Both of them covered in blood. David Stood, eyes alit with flames as his body moved on his own, his arms moving towards his father and in a split second, a large fireball came out of his hands hitting the man, the protection from the dark flames causing him to not be burned but simply shot out of the house, breaking the roof and starting a small fire to start around the edges.
David collapsed as his mother struggled out "Don't blame him." and then she collapsed, Dead. David couldn't move as he struggled to hold onto conciseness.

Ruby yelled "Wake up! Wake up!" pushing David back and forth, brain clearly trying to process what just happened. She looks around once again hoping that this is a dream hoping that her blood-covered mom is not dead. She began to walk towards the phone mounted on the wall to call 911 when she felt the house shake once again as the door swings open revealing a woman wearing a black cloak behind it. The house shakes once again as she struggled to breathe. She was tossed towards her brother as the moments before losing consciousness slipped by, she saw the house crumbling and the woman quickly dashed out of the house.
