18 Season 2 (Chapter 8 Final) The Last Moments.

Lindy turned her face towards the other side and saw Joseph staring at her. She put down the cup from her hands and called him, "Joseph? Please don't go, talk to me please!". "Okay.. *sighs* so what do you wanna talk about?" asked Joseph. "How did you know that I was in trouble that night? You barely know me" said Lindy. "I can.. read people's minds and when I touch them, I can see the visions of what they are going through" replied Joseph. "Oh?" said Lindy. "Anything else?" asked Joseph. "I was gonna say Thank you so much for saving my life that night.. I'll never forget that. It really means a lot!" said Lindy. "you're welcome" said Joseph. He stood up and went away. "He is still mad at me!" said Lindy to herself. In the evening, the results for the project started calculating. Everyone was excited and nervous. They were eagerly waiting for the results. "The team who got the third position in this project is TEAM-C!" everone applaud for the team. They received the medals and per cash prizes. "The team who got second position in this project is.." announced the Host. "If we don't get to the second position then we will lose. There's no hope for us to be on the first position" said Lindy. "Yeah! Everyone tried their best" said Mia. ".. Is TEAM-B!" said the Host. "The team who got the first position in this project is.. TEAM-E! They made the maximum number of tourists to visit their place". everyone applauded. "Omg!! I can't believe we won!!!" said Lindy cheerfully. Mia and Lindy hugged each other, jumping happily. The team went up to the stage. "Congratulations!" whispered Lindy to Joesph. "You too!" replied Joseph. She smiled at him. The scene closed and opened when the celebration ended. Lindy entered the elevator to go down and realized Joesph was already in the elevator. "Oh!? I'll come in the next" said Lindy stepping backwards. "No, you can come, it's fine" said Joseph. When lindy said, "No, no hurry I'll..". Joseph pressed the button to stop the elevator doors. Lindy looked up and went in, since he kept pressing it. After few minutes of silence, Lindy finally spoke up saying, "I never realized that we did good enough to get the first position" said Lindy. "It was all because of you! You told us about that place" said Joseph. Lindy cleared throat and said, "Hey, I'm sorry. I know I was overreacting when I found out about you. Forgive me please. I shouldn't have shoved you like that and I shouldn't have said things I said. But you know it was already hard for me and I was scared that you would do something to me or you had evil intentions but what I did wasn't right at all, after all..". Joseph interrupted and said, "Hey, hey. It's OK. I know you were scared because you were hurt, I do know. I forgave you, okay?!". "Did you? Oh!" said Lindy *chuckles*. She hugged him joyfully. "So, we're alright?" asked Lindy. "Yeah, It's fine!" said Joseph with a smile. The elevator stopped and the door opened up. "Come with me, I have something to show you!" said Joseph. "What is it?" asked Lindy curiously. "Can't tell. It's a surprise" said Joseph. "Okayy?" said Lindy. He took her to the woods. It was a beautiful scene in a daylight shining on the trees. "Follow me!" said Joseph running towards a huge cliff. "Tell me already!" said Lindy. They reached on a cliff from where they could see the entire forest and far beyond it. "Wow!" said Lindy. "Lean on me" said Joseph. "What?" asked Lindy. "trust me" replied Joseph. She leaned on his back. "hold me tight, and give me your hands" said Joseph. "I'm.. actually scared, what are you gonna do?" asked Lindy. She did as he said. They came near the edge of the cliff. He pulled out his wings and jumped. Lindy screamed holding him tightly, she closed her eyes and asked, "What is it?". "Open your eyes and see!" said Joseph. She realized they were flying far above the trees swiftly. Lindy was astonished by the scene. "Do your friends know that you can fly?" asked Lindy. "No, except one!" said Joseph. "I can't believe you can fly! we are flying with birds!" said Lindy cheerfully. "It's a phoenix thing" said Joseph. Lindy chuckled.
