8 (Chapter 8) A Murderer In Town.

"If she ever find out the moonstone, the Prison World will be destroyed forever and no one will ever be imprisoned there but It's hard to find". Said Leo. "but how can she find it in a whole world?" replied Elena. "of course, if she mentioned of it then it must be somewhere" said Leo. He stopped the glance on a croud at the place near by the road. They went forward, a man asked them, "hey, I'm the sheriff of this society. Do you know anything about the incident happened here? There are blood stains right here and tracks of car wheels, might be an accident". Elena replied, "Um, No. We just came here now". The sheriff continued his work. "so how are we supposed to do it?" asked Elena. "Well, you could tell your friends if you want and we'll start our work from tomorrow" said Leo. "OK, I'll tell them to see if they want be in this together. Leo, thanks for helping" said Elena. "Alright, you're welcome" said Leo. They both smiled at each other. Elena returning to her house texted Josh. "Leo might have an idea. If you're in then come to the park in the morning (09:00), ask Sophie too". Josh showed Sophie the message and asked her to go with him tomorrow. As Elena put her phone in her pocket, a guy sitting alone on a seat near a closed coffee shop asked her, "Rough day? Huh?". Elena got confused and said, "I'm sorry, do I know you?". "saw you there sad, thought I could ask you" replied the guy. Elena ignored him and went on her way. She saw the guy following her, she started running fast. She took out the phone to call someone, the guy put a chloroform cloth on her face and made her unconscious. The whole night nothing happened, nobody knew. In the early morning, Elena opened her eyes locked up somewhere, she tried to escape but she was tied up with chains. She screamed for help, but no one heard. She had no idea where she was. Leo called her constantly but she didn't answer. "she told me to meet here, where she is?" said Leo. As he took the way across the park, her phone was ringing near the coffee shop. "What is it doing here? Where is she?", Leo immediately spelled on the phone to know the location by the distancing spell. He found out, she was far away from the town. While he was on his way to find Elena, he passed across the police station and heard a woman crying. He immediately went in to ask because he knew something was wrong. The woman told him that her daughter was murdered at the park. She said, "I saw a knife in her stomach, it was filled with blood. I couldn't see it". He went to the sherrif's office to ask if he found anything about the murderer. "well, two death cases reported yesterday, there was a car accident and a murder again, do you think it's done by one person?" said the sheriff. "how do you think, these accident are done by the same person? Have you checked the locations of the incidents?" asked Leo. "well, the two deaths were in the washroom of the cafe which is quite near the park, the accident happened on the roadside which is also near the park and the murder was done in the park. By this report, I can clearly understand it's done by the same person" replied the sheriff. "so have you inquired anything about it? Finger prints, car wheels tracks or anything?" asked Leo. "We are working on it and if you find anything too then report to us" replied the sheriff. Leo went out worrying more about Elena. He drove as fast as he could. After three hours, he could hear the screams of Elena, knowing that he was close. Leo was tensed but angry. He came closer hearing the screaming, he saw a small house. He broke through the door he heard the sounds from the basement. Leo went down, saw a guy holding a sharp bloody knife. He couldn't see Elena but he knew that the guy was pointing the knife towards her. The cage was locked from the inside. He immediately gave a signal and the knife dropped from the guy's hand. Leo screamed, "let her go!". The guy turned around and said, "well, who are you?". This gave Leo the opportunity to shove him in to the wall. He put his arm through the cage and pushed him away hardly. He made a fire globe by his hand and burned the lock. As he went in, he saw Elena wounded severely. She was tortured physically by the guy, tied up with chains. Leo ran to open his chains. "Oh, my God, what he did to you. Are you OK?" asked Leo tensely. "I'm fine, he.. he was about to kill me. I don't know, what does he want but he has already killed alot of people. He to-- he told me.. that when he is sad he wants to kill som.. someone. He is a serial killer" cried Elena. "it's okay, nothing's gonna happen to you, he will not do anything anymore. Alright? Don't cry, I won't let anything happen to you. Let's go from here" replied Leo. He took her to the car and called the cops to inquire the guy. Leo took her to her home and went after the guy. When he asked sheriff, he said, "As I was saying, the finger prints on the knife have matched and he himself admits that he killed all those people". "oh, so what now? Is he a psycho?" asked Leo. "seems like, but these crimes can not be underestimated of course, he will be condemned to death for this act" said the sheriff. He went out knowing that he had business with Elena. He went to the park. Elena also came. "what happened to you, Elena?" asked Josh pointing towards her face. Elena looked at Leo and said, "it's nothing, I fell off"."That's hard" replied Josh. "OK, so how are we going to get Lindy by that moonstone?" asked Sophie "We will send a signal. Here's how, I made a spell when I was in the prison world to get out, it couldn't work but I can actually send a person in the prison world. But it's a heavy load so I can't keep it for more than 5 seconds otherwise it would kill me" said Leo. "so we can't actually meet her in a little time" said Sophie. "we can write a letter or something?" asked Elena. "I'm going" replied Sophie. They wrote the letter concerning the moonstone. Leo grabbed her head and started the spell. After two minutes, Sophie got herself in the prison world, she was in some bushes. She immediately ran to a plain area and dropped the letter. While it took time and Leo's nose started bleeding, the spell was dangerous and after he brought Sophie back, he fell on the ground. "Leo! Wake up. Leo, open your eyes, hey?" said Elena grievously.
