Chapter one- the daunting forest

Have you ever stayed up writing for once in your damn life a good story and then next thing you know you exit out of it without saving? And now you can only weep bitterly because that inspiration went out the window along with that wonderful piece of work you can't even remember. Yeah, that just happened to me now grumbling to myself as I close my computer and lay down in my bed staring at the wall in total simmering anger. starting to feel drowsing i slowing close my eyes despite my struggles to stay up.

CAWWW CAWWW CAWWW

''.....'' staring dumbly at the crow as I sit on a dead tree stump, I began to wonder

a-am I dead?

''Oouchy what the hell was that the mother queen of mosquito that sucker was huge?!" itching at my left ankle where that damn mosquito got me and then it hit me.

"Huh I'm not dead? and this isn't a dream...."

BZZZ BZZZ BZZZ

'' I was in bed last night now I'm in a forest.... a bug infested forest...." this scenario is Offley familiar scratch that it really is familiar this is exactly like those beastmen novels and fanfic I read!

"The only bright side is at least I wasn't chase by wild wolves" ah knock on wood knock on wood hastily knocking on the wooden stump I'm sitting on three times I wait a couple of minutes in silence sighing in relief when I hear no howls.

"This sucks I'm terrible at directions…just how long will it take for me to leave this damn forest?"

Green the color green is everywhere if I wasn't lost and was visiting maybe hiking with a friend I would've loved this scenery now I just feel dread.

Heh if I really transported in a world of Beastmen I wonder what's my first Beastmen encounter will be?

Laughing to myself with my ridiculous thoughts I start standing up and walking forward hoping to find a river, after all the stream of water should lead to a civilization.

Hours seem to past me as I walk ahead and so far no body of water in sight the daylight seems to dim.

"It will grow dark soon and so far I seem more further in than out" I grumble to myself in frustration. The only good thing about my hike into the wilderness is this juicy red fruits I found on the bushes 20 minutes ago. That should at least cure my hunger and quench my thirst till I find a good source of water. Walking some more I found a huge cave up ahead only to freeze up in terror when I come to realize a single fact that's extremely dangerous to be in.

Okay number one I'm alone in a forest I'm not at all familiar with okay I can sorta deal, but number two what happened to the cawing? Or even the buzzing?! The forest it sounds so silent no scratch that it is silent. Number three I came upon a cave that looks like something alive is living there no it is definitely alive and huge like omg back to the past when everything was huge kinda huge.

Now what may be huge oh I don't know maybe how there seems to be a certain type of grass in the cave almost in a shape of a huge bedding and then that large bloody damn snake skin like mommy help meeee.

Standing still in horror as my shadow gets engulfed in a more humongous figure as snake noises sound behind me rather lively and pissed.
