17 Goodbye

I removed my robe and got into the bath. It smelt of lavenders and it eased my muscles. Relaxing in a hot bath is the perfect ending for this hectic day. I am still shocked that I became the Archmage's apprentice, but it's more digestible now. I started to wash my body and hair, after sitting in the tub for a little longer I decided to dry up. "Miss your clothes is on the counter" Aria called out after hearing me exit the bath. "Got it," I replied. Once I changed and dried my hair I walked outside and saw two luggages were packed and open for me to check. I looked up at Aria who was between the luggages looking over everything. A fond smile spread over my face. I sat down with her and also looked. She packed everything I told her to. "Thank you for the help," I thanked her. "My pleasure" She answered bowing, "I also packed some of your cosmetics. Also bring this bag with you." She handed me a brown leather satchel with a golden latch. "Yep, will do Aria" I said, taking the bag and putting it on my desk. "You may leave now, please wake me up at 5am" Aria nodded and left the room. I checked over the luggages one more time, once I made sure everything was done I flopped on bed.

"Miss, it's time to wake up" Aria said, shaking me gently. Blinking my eyes open I slightly sat up. Touching my head I manifested a little energy and increased my endorphins. The tiredness slipped through my body and I started to feel more awake. "Thanks Aria, I'll go get ready now grab me some pants and a silk shirt." Aria nodded and started to look through my closet. I walked into my bathroom and took a quick shower. After drying up, I pulled my hair up and peeled outside. "Your clothes" Aria said handing me my outfit. "Thank you" I said started to put in what she chose. I put on the black pants and stuffed the white silk long sleeve shirt in it. I then walked to my simple white vanity. "Please do my hair" I asked Aria. "Which style?" "Tie it up"

As she dried and styled my hair I put light make-up on. "All done" Aria said. Looking in the mirror my hair was dried and tied into a high ponytail. "Thanks again, Aria. Let's bring my luggage down" I told her. "Okay miss" she answered, taking my luggage down to the door. I took my cloak and put my boots on. I then grabbed my phone, a journal, my laptop, my wallet, and a charm enhancer. The charm enhancer was around my neck when I was brought to the orphanage. It had a pretty purple medal charm that was enchanted. I smiled because it felt like my only connection to my birth parents.

I put the bag strap around my body and put my brown cloak on. Once I was situated I also walked downstairs. Checking my phone I Har should be here any second. I saw Aria with the luggage near the door. I signaled for her to go outside, following after her. We made our way to the front gates where I talked to the guards again. After showing my face they opened the gates and let me through. A black car stopped in front of me and the window rolled in. "Hey Sis, greeting Aria. You can put the luggage in the back." Har said, nodding her head towards the back. With a bow Aria brought my stuff to the back while I walked around and hopped into the passenger seat. "Bye Aria, I'll call you when I get the chance" I called out. "Of course Miss" Aria returned waving. We started to drive off back to the academy
