14 Enrollment

The head professor turned her head to me, then back to the Master Pacillo. "Of course, give me a couple minutes to enroll her." She then turned to her tablet and started to register me. "It's quite a surprise to see you with an apprentice Archmage Pacillo. I'm guessing the king was pressuring you again." Putting down the tablet she looked up and smiled. "All done, give me another few minutes to print out your schedule and dorm room. Please wait here." professor Alma then stood up and walked to another room in her office.

Once she left the room I looked over at Master Pacillo. "Thank you again Master Pacillo, it's starting to get late you should probably go back now." I looked down at my watch and saw it was 5 pm. She nodded and stood up, "then come out to the front gates tuesday at 6 am. A car will take you to the royal palace. Don't bring anything but your cloak. I'll see you later then, goodbye lydia." "bye" I said, waving. She then stood up and strode to the door, exiting the room. I took a deep breath, relief and excitement washing over me. "I'm bac-, oh did Archmage Pacillo leave?" Professor Alma asked walking back to her desk. "Yes, she had to return to the royal palace." I replied. "Okay then here is the information for your registration. This packet explains your schedule, dorm room, excellence perks, and the rules. An online copy can also be sent to you." She then handed over the packet then slid a form and pen to me. "If you have a way for us to contact you please write it down" "okay" I responded putting my number and email on the form. "Good, as the archmage's apprentice the academy expects a lot from you miss Raven. Make us proud" she encouraged smiling. I stood up and bowed. "Thank you head professore Alma, I'll make sure to not disappoint" Then I took my leave.

Remembering the way we took to get to the office, I made my way back to the main hall. "Lydia Raven?" Turning around I saw Professor Banyan walking up to me. "Hello Professor Banyan" I greeted slightly bowing. "What are you doing here?" she asked, confused. I smiled and responded "I actually encountered the Archmage Pacillo, who made me her apprentice." "Wow, congratulations Lydia, I'm happy a genius like you could attend the academy." Then someone else called her name. "Thank you, I'll be on my way now" I said slowly backing up. "Yep see you later" Professor Banyan then turned around and walked to the person who called her name.

Turning around as well I walked out of the Main Hall. I should probably talk with Har, she's probably worried by now. I reached in the pocket of my pants looking for my phone, "shoot, I forgot I left it at home." Sighing, I started walking to the common courtyard to find Har. When I arrived I saw Har and Hunter at a table talking, excited I started to walk towards her. "Harper!" I yelled to get her attention when I was just a few feet away. "Lydia, where were you?" she replied anxiously. She then stood up and hugged me. "There's actually a lot that happened, let's talk over dinner later." after she heard me she let go of me. "Did you get in the academy?" "yep" I answered proudly. "Really? good job" Hunter praised. Looking over Har's shoulder I glanced at Hunter, "thank you Hunter" I said. "Hey Lydia now that you got in I'll give you a tour." Har said happily. "Sure!" I answered. "Oh, Hunter do you want to come with us? You're a part of the Mage academy, It'll be better if you help her with that campus." Har asked looking back at Hunter. "Oh it's fine, you know your way around the Mage campus pretty well and you guys should catch up." he said smiling at Harper. "Okay" Har replied and took my hand dragging me away.
