Chapter 60 "Change In Power"

The Stark Industrial Building's top story was where Rorschach landed. He arrived to get the mind scepter back. Rorschach has two Infinity Stones at once when he picks up the mind scepter with the Mind Stone from Loki and the Tesseract in the wormhole generator, which is the Space Stone.

Rorschach then turned to face the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier. Thor was deceived into a cell by Loki before he departed the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier, and Loki also threw the cell from the sky. He even murdered Interim Director Phil Coulson with a backstab.

Loki has always regarded himself as a god. He views humans as little more than a colony of ants. Therefore, killing Phil Coulson is as pointless as stepping on an ant. However, Loki's earlier attempts to kill Coulson were completely reverted.

In the original storyline, it was Coulson's passing that caused the team to put aside their differences and band together to confront the threat posed by the Chitauri army.

In this world, Sitwell used Coulson's impending death as an opportunity to inject him with physical-strengthening drugs, temporarily sustaining his life. Sitwell then teamed up with the senators once more to carry out Nick Fury's impeachment scheme.

This impeachment process has been approved by both the United Nations and senior U.S. federal officials. Even still, the senators who backed Nick Fury steadfastly defended him while attempting to blame Loki for the inconsistency.

One incident might lead to another, and S.H.I.E.L.D. sustained significant losses. Nick Fury's incapacity is the main cause of everything. This time, Nick Fury's reputation was damaged by this incident.

"In just a few days, S.H.I.E.L.D. lost far too many talented agents in addition to the Tesseract. All of this demonstrates that Nick Fury is unable to remain in his role as S.H.I.E.L.D's director."

Even President Matthew is unable to dispute this assertion since it is true.

President Matthew was about to say that he would give Nick Fury and the Avengers another chance to right their wrongs when he saw the military and a few senators' horrified faces, but he quickly turned down the idea.

Sitwell approached the bridge of the Helicarrier while carrying a letter for an urgent appointment.

"I have been given control of the Helicarrier from now on. Agent Hill, Nick Fury, may return to the main office to rest for a time."

Agent Hill was very resentful as he observed Sitwell, Rumlow, and the others, but there was nothing she could do.

Physical enhancement potions can only improve a variety of characteristics, they cannot revive the dead. Even a super soldier will perish if they sustain too much of an injury. "Sitwell, you can always locate me if you need help." Before departing, Nick Fury made a pledge to Sitwell.

Perhaps Sitwell saved Coulson in time, and Nick Fury didn't want to owe the other guests any favors after they saved him. Nick Fury experienced some trembling due to the recent string of hits that followed one another.

Is it possible that I'm just not cut out to be a leader?

A number of the Avengers were left behind when Nick Fury departed the Helicarrier. Black Widow is assisting Hawkeye in escaping Loki's influence in the operating room.

Tony Stark is all set to go. Initially, Tony Stark was hired as a temporary consultant by Nick Fury using the paternal connection reasoning, but now that Nick Fury has fallen, Tony Stark has lost all faith in the Avengers.

Agent Carter and Captain America aren't in a rush to leave either.

As he approached the Helicarrier's bridge, Captain America nodded to Rumlow before turning to Sitwell and asking, "Director Sitwell, about those weapons..."

Captain America was interrupted by Sitwell, who remarked, "I intended to find you, Captain, but now I just want to discuss this with you. I want to request that you and Agent Carter completely destroy the energy weapons that Nick Fury has been researching."

"Destroy them all them all?" Captain America was quite taken aback. The first time he mentioned energy weapons was to Sitwell.

He feels that the Tesseract-produced energy weapons are overly potent. These energy weapons might be effective against the approaching Chitauri army, but their safety is still in doubt.

"Yes, Captain, destroy them all. Do you really believe we won't employ those weapons?" Sitwell responded with a question.

Sitwell proceeded without waiting for Captain America to respond, "Please be assured, Captain, that even if we ever reclaim the Tesseract, we will not utilize it to create any fatal weapons. We have no control over the Tesseract."

In his heart, Sitwell spoke these words. The only God in his view is Rorschach, he is the one who would be able to control the power of the Tesseract.

How can they make lethal weapons if they can't control how the Tesseract is made?

Sitwell's words were so direct and compelling. Because after hearing Sitwell's statements, Captain America instantly thought the small, bald man in front of him was exceptionally convincing.
