7 Joshua

After I saw him drove away towards the main lane I walked back into the living area. There I saw my mom and sister sitting on the couch watching, gazing at his autograph.

"Mom" I shouted out loud.

"What?" My mom answered.

"You startled me" she added.

"Mom how can you do this to me?" I asked fuming in anger.

"What did I do?" She asked confused.

"How can you sell me out. You agreed to him, me staying at his house?" I said.

"What's wrong in that?" She said.

I eyed at her confused.

"You hit him first. You should be responsible" my mom said.

"But it was him..." I stopped myself from blurting it out.

"See you too realise it was your fault" my mom said at my sudden silence.

"No I don't" I said sounding unsure.

"Yes you do" my mom said.

"Dad help?" I looked towards my dad making a puppy face.

"Honey, stay out of this" my mom cut dad off when he was about to say something

"Mom I am nor going" I said.

"Are you sure you wanna defy me?" My mom said glating at me.

I kept my silence.

"I didn't think so" she said.

"End of discussions. You're going to his house tomorrow and you're gonna stay there until he gets better" my mom said.

"This not fair mom" I said to mom.

She glared at me, walking towards me. I knew this expression, so I ran upstairs to avoid her beating.

"That's more like it. Now pack your things that you'll need there at his house" I heard my mom shouting from downstairs.

"God.." I said looking up.

I was still contemplating what had happened. Me staying at his house I thought to myself.

"Never" I said out loud. 'But mom won't leave me alone if I don't go'.

"Oh god what should I do" I said almost in despair.

I kept aside my thoughts as I decided to take a shower. I got some clothes to put on as I started walking towards the bathroom.

After I had a shower I decided to get some sleep. I was damn tired from the night shift. After I had that emergency operation j got to take a nap but it wasn't enough. Everytime I started to doze off the deep sleep I gets waken by the sirens and commotion in the hall. I barely got to sleep properly. So I decided to sleep the whole day as it was my day off.

I almost sleep the whole day. When I woke up it was already 4 in the evening. I got myself freshened as I headed downstairs. I saw mom cooking dinner, Rachel watching drama and dad was no where to be seen.

"Mom where is dad?" I asked.

"He went out" she replied.

"Ah!" I said.

"Need any help?" I asked her.

"No. It's almost done" she replied.

"Ok. Then I am going for a walk" I said as I exited the front door.

When I came back after a stroll dad was already home. I greeted them and walked towards the kitchen to help mom with the cooking.

"Mom let me help you" I said as I took the spatula and started stirring the soup.

"I can do it. Go get some more rest" nom said trying to take it back.

"Mom I slept whole day. I am fine" I said as I continued stirring.

"Ok" my mom gave up and went over to the cabinets to get the plates.

Once the cooking were done I set the table and asked dad and Rachel to come over and join us on the table.

They walked over as we all took our respective seats and sat down. We said our grace and started to savour the food in front of us.

"So did you get enough sleep?" Dad asked looking at me.

"Ya dad" I replied.

"That's good" he said.

"So you gonna go there at his place?" He asked.

I looked towards my mom, she was glaring at me.

"Do I have an option" I said eyeing my dad to look at mom.

"Thats more like it" my mom said.

"Oppa you're so lucky you get to stay with him in the same house" Rachel said.

"There's nothing ti o ne lucky about" I said to her.

"Listen carefully Park Joshua, take care of him very nicely" my mom said.

"Why?" I asked.

My mom glared at me.

"Ok. Ok" I said in defeat.

"And if something happens between you two don't forget ty o tell me" she added.

"Mom?" I said.

"What?" She asked.

"Nothing is gonna happen" I said as I continued my business ignoring her.

Once we were done with the dinner I went back to my room. I got hold of my laptop and decided to watch some dramas.

I switched it on and opened the browser to search for some drama to watch. Then I thought why not watch his drama. A smile formed on my lips at the thought of him.

I searched for his name and went through his filmography and found one that had the title "Season of Love".

I clicked on the first episode and st as started watching it.

'He looks quite hot and handsome' I thought to myself halfway through the first episode. I continued watching it. It was quite interesting to watch him all being a gentleman, absolute opposite of what I have seen of him in this few days.

It was almost 8 o'clock and I was just halfway through the series. I wanted to keep going but I had to go to hospital tomorrow so I decided it was the last episode I am gonna see for today. I kept watching. I kept on saying last last and I was already in my 12th episode. I was getting more engrossed in what was gonna happen next. It was playing at a scene where the mains were gonna have thier first kiss.

When they kissed a strange feeling erupted inside of me. I couldn't acknowledge what it was but it ke hard.

'Joshua are being jealous right now' came my inner voice.

"No. Never" I said out loud in a very defensive tone.

"I am not gonna watch anymore" I said shutting down the laptop.

"Ommo! Why am I feeling hot right now?" I said flapping my hand as if cooling my face down.

"Never. Never" I said to myself.

"Joshua you're tired that's why you are thinking weird things. Go to sleep" I tried convincing myself.

"Ya get some slerp" I said as I walked off the bathroom to have a leak.

When I came back into the room I heard my phone beep. I walked to the edge of the bed where I kept my phone as I unlocked to see what it was.

It was a message from Jung Hoon.

Rest well. Sleep tight, see u tomorrow. I'll come pick you up after your shift is done .❤❤

I read it out. A smile crept on my mind as soon as I read the message. As i was still lost in thought the realisation hit.

"Ah! I almost forgot I had to pack" I said it out loud.

Then I thought how could someone be so confident. How did he suppose that I was gonna go stay at his place.

"Forget in Josh. Get packing" I said as I walked towards my wardrobe.

I got all my essentials and packed them up. I thought I am gonna stay there probably for 2 to 3 days max a week so I took few change of clothes.

When I was done I decided to call it day and go to sleep.
