8 Chapter 7

Soon after, it was time for our internships. Endeavor had asked for both me and my sister. We accepted, as we had the previous year. "So what do we do now?" I asked the hero.

"We are following after Stain. I found out that he was somewhere near Hosu city. Shoto, Red Heart, Phantom Archer. Let's go now." I nodded and followed after him. My hero name was Red Heart and my sister's was Phantom Archer.

While we wandered, Todoroki got a message and told his father to send reinforcements to some alley. Then he ran off and my sister and I followed him. In the alley he had been called to I saw Midoriya and Iida facing off against Stain himself. There was also a hero there, slumped against the wall.

I glanced over at Miki who nodded. We began one of our special attacks that combine her element Quirk with my strength one. I charged in and distracted Stain while she began shooting lightning arrows and random blasts of fire until Stain was backed into a corner. As soon as he was, I slammed my fist against his skull making him collapse. I then slipped out the capture tape that I carry with me in my costume. The costume was a red cloak with hundreds of tiny pockets. One of the things I carried were Quirk suppression cuffs which I also put on him. I waited there after removing the rest of the blades Stain carried on him.

When the reinforcements arrived, I saw that they seemed haggard and worried. I waved and they came over. "Red Heart? Are you okay?" One of them asked. I nodded and he turned to Miki. "What about you Phantom Archer?"

"I am fine as well. These guys might not be though." The hero nodded and picked them up. "Me and Red Heart will take this guy to Endeavor." The hero nodded once more and turned away. We took Stain to Endeavor who took him to Tartarus.

"Well, I must say that was interesting." I said to my sister as we went back to the dorms, humming a little tune. "How is the jewelry coming along?"

"Funny you should ask." Miki said with a small laugh. She opened the door to her room and showed me her room.

"Wow." There were different sets of jewelry draped over various surfaces in the room. Most of them were necklaces but there was also some bracelets or earrings. "Pretty."

"I'm glad you think so." Miki smiled. I picked up one particularly pretty necklace and examined it.

"Is this platinum?"

"It is." My sister nodded and I smiled. I looked at the necklace more and saw some slight imperfections in it.

"This one is somewhat-"

"Flawed?" I nodded. "I know. The gems they picked weren't easy to work with."

"What? But I thought-"

"They're fake."

"Oh. I see then." Miki is very good at working with anything from the earth, that's how she's such a good jeweler, but, if the gem is fake she can't work with it as well.

"Right." She smiled. "Now, you should head to bed. You've stared at that thing for a couple hours now."

"Whoops." I chuckled and set down the necklace, heading to my room.
