The Kitsune Reaper

It was after the Fourth Great Ninja War Naruto had just one thing left to do to end it as every Otsutsuki except Kaguya came down and attacked the Allied shinobi forces although in order to defeat them Naruto became the 10 tails jinchuriki he ended up winning after resting and replenishing chakra as well as stamina he ate the chakra fruit from the tree then Kami came down to him and asked what he wanted to do with his new found powers Naruto told her to revive all of the jinchuriki killed by the Akatsuki put their tailed beasts in them revive everyone killed during the war.

She asks what do you want for this generosity he says to keep Kurama to keep his chakra abilites as he goes to a new world and all of the scrolls to master the techniques that he never got to she agrees then grants his every request but asks what does he want his chakra natures to be he says fire wind and lightning she also makes him have chakra chains and be a sensor also she gives him both halves of Kurama then gives him any bloodline that he wants but only one he chooses storm release then he gets teleported to a strange world that's dark all of the time with a white desert and dry plant life.

There's nothing there but he shrugs his shoulders then gets to work mastering his chakra he uses shadow clones to master every scroll that she had given him including kenjutsu he took several styles and combined them into his own he did the same thing with his taijutsu also he mastered every justsu that he has to the point that only the S rank ones cost him chakra of course he didn't accomplish these feats immediately it took several centuries by the time he completed his training even mastering every jutsu that the fox clan had as well as fox sage mode without there being a time limit.

However one day as he was about to summon his clones to spar with he saw something weird out of the corner of his eye he saw a weird looking monster with a white mask on its face but what was worrying him as he kept going through this place is that everywhere he went there was more and more of them not liking this he hid in a cave but soon came to regret it as he heard a high pitched howling then he saw that he was surrounded by the tallest creature he has ever seen with a white mask also it looks like they're wearing a long black cloak also they have huge feet at first nothing happens but he feels like he's being surrounded.

He studies this cave thoroughly it seems that this big one is the only one of it's kind which is fine except it tries to eat him not taking this lying down Naruto eats the creature instead of fighting it as he hasn't eaten since before the war after he does that at first he thought that it wasn't going to fit in his stomach but suddenly after he ate it successfully he started getting hungry for the other creatures so he ate them he did so until there was no more left he did this once every 900 years he would eat every hollow in hecuo mundo until he was the only one left.

One day after feasting on the creatures he gets teleported to a new world that he's never seen before it has a blue sky but nothing is here not even flatland so Kami comes to him as a golden orb she speaks with a heavenly voice " i though it was time for a change of scenery also you need to be among people again not monsters" he hasn't spoken in centuries but he can understand her she is disappointed when he just nods but doesn't speak to her.

She helps him shape the world to how it should look even helps him build every building according to how they were designed at the conference she just came from it takes centuries to get everything ready including turning him into a soul reaper she taught him how to be one she taught him Hakuda Kido Zanjutsu and Hoho she also made sure to give him a scroll to practice with so he doesn't forget what she taught him he went to a secret training ground in the mountains to finish his training but he made sure that the first thing that he learned how to do was the Gentei Kaijo so no one would be able to find him.

Thousands of Years Later

He wakes up one day after getting dressed and going for a walk after leaving his training ground he senses that this place is full of people who are soul reapers like he is now also there's hundred's of them he decides to go back inside before he gets seen then spends a few months practicing his stealth after that he starts checking up on what everyone is doing he sees that they are acting like they own the place and are acting like an army instead of peacekeepers.

He's been spending years watching them while keeping up on his training except that he gets spotted by a squads hell butterfly it rushes back to the squad it came from which is squad 2 at this time Yourichi isn't in charge yet neither is Yammamoto the head captian he's a young soul reaper barely in his 30's in squad 1 there's not a head captain yet just a captain of squad one who everyone listens to Yammamoto is trying for the captain's position soon he's a 4th seat he's already unlocked his bankai and his shikai.

All of the soul reapers were in a meeting when the hell butterfly zooms into the room then shows them what it saw they've never seen a shihakshou with black and orange stripes before also his zanbaktou has dark orange on the sheath with white stripes the handle is wrapped in black cloth he has blonde hair amethyst blue eyes 3 whisker marks on his face and is studying them like one does paperwork before they can be stopped a general alert went out about their visitor making him nervous.

Once that was done it took them an hour to find him because he was meditating in a courtyard under a tree waiting for them to come see if he is a threat or not he's made up his mind that he's not going to break silence ever once he is about to fall asleep they finally find him it was odd because they can barely sense his spiritual pressure almost as if he doesn't have one or he's suppressing it which is not possible if you're not a captain he still has his eyes closed which is starting to annoy some of the weaker soul reapers.

A random soul reaper asks " sir can you come with us our superiors would like to meet you " instead of answering Naruto just stands up then walks toward them he also hands over his Zanbaktou which surprises everyone there but they take it none the less except that nobody can lift it because it's so heavy sensing what's wrong he takes it back from them then puts it back on his waist after that they escort him to the other soul reapers.

What nobody has realized up until he gets in front of every other soul reaper was that he never opened his eyes not once but he does so once he gets in front of the other soul reapers he also uses chakra to enhance his senses to see if they are lying they finally stop talking among themselves when Yammamoto asks who he is where he came from and why was he spying on them" Naruto brings out his old ninja registration card then chucks it at Yammamoto he catches it then begins reading it.

He's shocked as he's heard of the Elemental Nations before having traveled there to kill a hollow and bring a soul here but he didn't think that the hero of that realm would be standing in front of them as a soul reaper he tells everyone who Naruto is and the things that he's done for his old realm they're shocked that such a hero would be one of them Yammamoto analyzes his energy and says no he's not one of us we're one of him it was his power that made everything here as well as made us soul reapers.

They're shocked upon learning that but asks how he knows that Yammamoto says his card showed me everything he's ever done except there's a gap in his memory even his childhood is being blocked from being seen after that he tosses the card back to Naruto then shares the memories of him creating the soul society as well as putting his energy into certain souls so that they will become soul reapers Yammamoto says that you're looking at the first of our kind.

They can't help but agree with what they are seeing but quite a few thinks that it doesn't mean anything others voice it out loud then Naruto walks outside while dragging several soul reapers who are doubting his strength once he gets far enough from the building he throws them to the ground then waits for everyone to catch up they do and every doubter is mad that they were treated like children so they draw their swords surround him and prepare to attack.

Naruto stretches then just stands still waiting for them to make the first move they waste no time once they have an audience in trying to say that because he hasn't drawn his sword that he's a coward Naruto just stands there with no emotion on his face after that they charge him once they get close enough he attacks using the same moves that Ichigo used to take out everyone while rescuing Rukia the difference is that he doesn't need to use a flash step to keep up with them or even draw his blade to put them down not when he can steal one of theirs.

which is what he does he beats half of them using Hakuda then picks up a Zanbaktou from the ground then beats the rest using Zanjutsu his level of skill is quite scary they think that he's better than a captain with everything he did to bring them down also a few of them noticed how he never moved from his spot the whole fight just stayed in a circle while fighting them the only time he moved the most was when he was picking up a sword off the ground.

After the fight was over the captains were impressed with his level of skill in fact he was more skilled in their fighting arts then the strongest of them all who only knew the basics of the moves he used as they were making them up as they went along Naruto walks back into the meeting room then says unless there's a threat to this place or there's a hollow attacking don't bother looking for me again to make sure this happens i'll give you young people a gift he reaches into his robes and pulls out two scrolls then chucks them at Yammamoto who catches them.

After catching them he asks what's in these scrolls Naruto says every Zanjutsu technique and every Hakuda technique a soul reaper should know before they even reach the levels that you all are currently at to remedy this Naruto closes his eyes senses everyone's power level as well as goes into their minds and sees that they all focused on kido instead of training anything else so he resets everyone back to square one by making them as weak as they were when they became soul reapers and makes the kido techniques they know into scrolls that appear into their hands as well as copies of the two scrolls he gave Yammamoto.

In fact the three scrolls fuse together as well as inside the scrolls is a list of workout regiments designed for building their reserves as well as their speed and strength there's even 4 types of workout regiments to choose from power and speed , strength and speed , strength and power, or all three put together for a balanced form of combat after that Naruto says i know you hate me for making you weak but your current power that i took from you isn't gone forever just sealed away until your strong enough in your training to merge it with the power you've obtained through training everyone is shocked but impressed at the idea.

Before they can say anything else Naruto vanishes in a tornado of wind all traces of his presence is gone they cant even sense where he went to Naruto decides to go to a different place thinking that his hideout is compromised he keeps going until he reaches the one spot that nobody dares go to the dark forest which is fine by him in fact there's so much negative energy here that it masks his own power perfectly other than killing hollows with the Zanpaktou he found he just explores until he finds a building in the center of it which is the focal point of all the dark energy.
